One meal (beef dish) was really poor. Everything lacked a bit of seasoning and flavour and overall very overpriced

Joined several friends on a Saturday evening when there was live music. Very busy with a great atmosphere. A large menu, with a good choice. Service was excellent from a young team

The food was very flavourful, from starters to dessert. The Turkish wine was great! We arrived for an early dinner so the restaurant was peaceful and service was quick.

Went there yesterday and food was good however the portions have got smaller. The main thing that got me was the high Service Charge £9.98 on top if a £78 bill, that’s almost 15% which is ridiculous, didn’t want to make a fuss as it was a b’day meal but will seriously think twice before going there again…….reply to your reply……you need to make that ‘optional’ more visible instead just adding it without any mention

We had a lovely meal at Roko. Staff could not have been more friendly. Very welcoming and definitely try the Turkish deserts delicious. Will be back soon..

Beautiful restaurant with great service and delicious food. The meals were balanced and tasty - even the children's menu had fresh vegetables included. What a great stop on our way to Stonehenge and Bath!

I had a great meal here, served by a guy named Utku who was really nice and shared some Turkish history while I was waiting since I was there mid afternoon and there weren't too many customers. The baklava was amazing!

Amazing place, exceptional food, top service. Cannot wait to go back. Good size portions, too! Can't remember the name of the dish I ordered, but it had spiced lamb and tomato in it. Couldn't finish it all, so they put it in a doggy bag and threw in some extra turkish bread!

Outstanding food from fantastic friendly staff. Our last visit there, after our long and tiring day, was met with personal smiles and joy directed toward us. Not only was the food as fantastic as usual, but we were given a wonderful, although unexpected, surprise. A truly emotional and heart warming experience ❤️

Food not bad...better for people who like meat. A bit dark inside if upstairs. Didn't have lots of Turkish specialities...like pide and lamachun. Good portion sizes ...so might be worth trying.

Lovely setting with upstairs/ downstairs, & covered terraced dining. Good Turkish selection. Friendly staff. We ate around 3.30pm on Saturday & by the time we left the restaurant was buzzing with lively ambiance. Would recommend. Reasonable 2 course set lunch @£14.50. A la carte menu mains all around £19.

Four of us came here for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised by how nice the atmosphere was of the restaurant. Spread over two floors with an upstairs outside area, you certainly don't feel cramped here. The food was really good, especially the mixed platter, however it is a bit on the expensive side for what you get. Around £20 for a house main with one side (where the main is not too large) could be much for some, but the quality of the food is really good. I would dine here again.

Lovely meal here on the terrace in the sunshine. The lamb wrapped in pastry was DELICIOUS (called Betyi Sarma) highly recommend it. Our waiter was Georgina and she was delightful.

We were Turkish Cuisine virgins and decided to try eating at Roka one recent, quiet Wednesday lunchtime. We both have non standard food allergies yet the waiter kindly spent the time to understand our requirements and help us navigate the menu with its unfamiliar (to us) terms. We enjoyed the food and the experience, and we will definitely eat there again.

We came down there with work partners, to commence with food and service was okay, however when we ask for the bill we noticed that came with %12 service charge on it that we gullibilitily thought it goes to staff as it specified on explanation,afterwards we literally shocked when find out the owner gets all the service charges in the name of staff’s discretionary!!! what a shame to attempt the people fooling down and behave against laws!!!

The service isn't the best considering the london 12.5% service charge and we had to ask several times for spoons for ice cream but the food was lovely it was nice to go in summer and sit on the terrace as last time we went in winter the building was freezing, prices have absolutely shot up but I guess that's the cost of living.

I went there for the father's day. We had a variety of dishes between the three of us. Lamb and chicken sish, adana iskender kebab, hot mezze platter were all good and delicious. Service was a tad slower than the other Turkish restaurants but it was busy. Thanks for making my special day a memorable one.

Feeling robbed after last order - over £40 for just two mains and one of them could only be described as sauce. We have in the past eaten in and had delivery and although expensive, we've been happy with the food. I guess we were lucky to discover the change in portion size with a small order rather than paying £££ and disappointing a large gathering.

This was our first time at Roka The Square. We had a beautiful lunch with outstanding service. Both of the gentleman's who served us, made are us feel very welcome. We should be definitely back and hopefully on a Saturday evening when they have live entertainment on.

The hot mezze platter to start was nice, the rest of the food was average, the service wasn't bad but for how quiet it was (Wednesday eve) it was extremely slow. Wouldn't say I'd go again as it was quite pricey for what it was.

This is may favourite Turkish restaurant. The food is amazing, huge menu, great service and lovely restaurant with a brilliant atmosphere.

I came here by chance while I was wandering in that region. I had a really good experience. Also, it is a friendly, friendly and clean family business. I will go again and recommend it to everyone.

The food was amazing, and the owner was very accommodating. Some members of staff seemed a little inexperienced but on the whole a nice family meal

First time here, and although the food was great, unfortunately, had to lose a few stars, as we felt the staff could do with some training, although, they are happy to come over when asked, we felt as a restaurant, all drinks should be brought over together, not ask for the missing ones. Although some starters were delivered we had to chase for another x2 that were forgotten. Also had to chase for cutlery as the used was taken away, (great👍) but then replace before delivering the next course, rather than us asking for cultery to eat our next course. A very loud atmosphere, especially with the singer. Could definitely do with more soft surroundings to improve the acoustics so you can hold a conversation at the tables. The upstairs layout is so tight with the tables, you have to ask people to get up from their tables to get out. (Table spacings are a bit like being on an aircraft). Appreciate as a business like all businesses, have to make money, but there are far too many tables for the upstairs indoor space. Maybe just lose one? Would help massively? Please take this review as just my constructive criticism, I'm sure as in other reviews many do have a great evening 👍. As we still paid the service charge that was added to the bill. But with a few tweaks would be a 5/5 from me.

This is my second visit to this restaurant, and it gets better each time. The staff were very accommodating as we booked at the last minute after a long day in London. They got us a good table and were very friendly and charming. The food is fantastic, and we settled down to an entertaining evening. Would highly recommend a visit.

We were looking for a place to eat in the afternoon for 3 adults and a child. Google came up with this place. The waiter had a warm welcome. The place was nice and clean as well as the toilet ( the first thing I checked before even ordering) Food has been quickly delivered and tasty. I would recommend this place.

Normally this is an excellent restaurant, this time however, with a party of 16, 14 had finished their meals before the last two meals turned up. Atmosphere was as good as normal with live music.

Had a lovely experience at this restaurant for lunch. Friendly attentive service, great prices (had the lunch menu). The food tasted great and they were more than willing to bring out extra sauces, made in house, at no extra cost. The decor was lovely, would definitely return and with friends.

Overpriced tasteless food. What should have been two different chicken dishes tasted the same. Loud music, could not hear my partner across the small table for two. Will not come back or recommend

Had a fantastic meal here at Roka! We’ve had great take-aways from here over the lockdowns but it’s better being in the beautiful building with a lovely atmosphere. Food was delicious and filling, and our server (Sadaf - sorry if spelt wrong!) was lovely and gave great recommendations. Highly recommend eating here.

Delicious food, super-friendly service and if you can sit on the upstairs terrace you’ll feel like you’re back on holiday.

Wow what a wonderful place. This was my first visit and I was not disappointed. Food, service and entertainment was exceptional, then to top it all off we were given free shots. I had calamari to start and was possibly the best I have tasted in the UK, I had the adana koftedes and my wife had chicken shish, both dishes were succulent and tasty meat at just under £20 a main. There was a singer all night and kept the atmosphere going all night, occasionally singing Happy birthday for those who were celebrating. Once our meal we headed to the dance floor for a little boogie. Fantastic all round and can't wait to book again.

The food was good but the service was terrible told after 15 min wait run out of steak then had starter waited 45 mins after plates taken for main course . Then given desert menu then waited for someone to take order but no one returned after 20mins so went downstairs had go pay bill then get charged £10 service charge absolutely disgusting.

We were seated upstairs in a cosy environment. Our first visit for a romantic evening for 2. Something different and we enjoyed it.

Fantastic food and service! Popped in for lunch on a Sunday and sat in their wonderful terrace. The staff were all super welcoming and friendly and the food was excellent. Highly recommend! Will defo be back during warmer weather to enjoy some of their cocktails too!

My husband and I thought we’d try this as our usually restaurant is around 30 miles away. The staff are lovely however, the food is horrible! Didn’t enjoy a single bite. I would not recommend it. Way too over priced for horrible food.

This restaurant has been on my list of places to visit for a few years and it was definitely worth the wait. The service was of a very high standard, the drinks were beautifully presented and the food was incredible. Authentic, delicious, an amazing selection, I simply can't fault anything. It's a lovely place to have a delicious food 😋 and nice atmosphere. We loved the terrace because you can have your dinner and same time you can watch the Sunset 🌇 . Just about the dessert we weren't that happy because we ordered Kunefe which the cheese 🧀 should be melted but it wasn't.

What a mess! Got in at 7pm, didn’t get our food until 10:45pm! The waiters didn’t have a clue what was going on, they couldn’t tell anyone how long the food wait was. We weren’t made aware of any wait on food, little did we know it would be nearly 4 hours. I feel all our dinners were rushed as there was items missing and mostly over cooked and dry. The general vibe of the other diners around us was confusion and disbelief. Went here for a birthday because it’s always busy but I won’t be returning.

Easy to park in opposite council car park. Good seating in upstairs open area. Lovely staff, Great service. Special lunch time menu (at good prices) plus great wine. This is our second visit and we'll definitely return again.
