I just love this place, I didn't eat yesterday I just had a drink as I had a 2 hour delay, somewhere to watch the arrival of all different planes heading for terminal 3 runway, well worth a stop and a lunch if you like planes, it has a kids play area too.

Very welcoming staff, drink prices ok. Friendly atmosphere will go again.

Called in this pub hoping to get food or at least bar snack. Website showing food available. Unfortunately they don't serve food. Drinks expensive.

Went here for dinner after a family walk in the woods close by, all very hungry and ready for dinner, menu presented well atmosphere good and food came very quickly however when it arrive although it looked delicious this is my feed back, we ordered a kids pizza and it was clearly Chicago town cooked in a microwave my son would not eat it after having a bite, me and my partner order the steak with cheese and mushrooms with peppercorn sauce, the steak was so fatty we had to leave most of it as it was in edible, the chips felt soggy and the peppercorn sauce didn’t taste like peppercorn sauce it tasted watered down and was just awful, the other 2 kids ordered burgers and they said they were ok, they gave it it a 4 out of 10 the fries were much better than the chips! Meal was cheap only £90 including drinks but will defo wont eat here again but the dog was happy as everything we didn’t eat we took back for him luckily his teeth can chew through very fatty steak

I can't say enough about how helpful everyone was, Mike and his team were faultless. There was quite a large group of us and they were so accommodating in getting us a table, making sure we were all together. They absolutely deserve the 5⭐️

Not been here for years and I remember why. The staff are polite. The place could do with a good clean. The food really isn't all that. I guess you get what you pay for . But one spoonful of peas, come on, really?. 😂

I had an enjoyable evening the pub has just been refurbished it was clean and comfortable. I was with my sister in law we don't go out that often but we felt welcome well looked after and will be quite happy to go back again. Thanks to a very kind and pleasant landlord.

Manager Mike is rude and untruthful. Refused to take clubcard vouchers. Said Head office told them not to anymore. Showed him q&a on hungry horse website for his specific pub that said they do. He then changed his story to the till having a malfunction that wont allow it. Refused to call management. So I did. Obviously embarrassed when i got them on the phone and they said he should accept the codes. Still refused. He then told them the tall tale of the till (after all if it was true why did he start out saying it was a case of head office not allowing it!? ) Head office told me to pay and they now would refund. Going to put in a complaint against him. Very loud and arrogant. Young servers and barstaff, however, are absolutely lovely. Feel sorry for them dealing with such a boss.

Getting worse being served 2 members of staff behind the bar but only 1 serving

I went in with my wife after having a meal out. We have a lot of friends in there and family go in there too.

Not a bad pub. Quite a few TVs so if you like your sport and you are not a discerning drinker then this is for you. Local pub doing the job for locals. Always advertises Cask Ales on the sign outside and on a sign inside, plus there are two hand pumps but I have never seen a cask ale on sale.

Cheep beer great looking barmaid on the day I visited

A local boozer. Friendly enough. Usually quiet. Has the odd quiz night and Saturday evening entertainment. It has no kitchen and does not serve food.

We have just returned from a family meal at the flying horse. It was very busy but we did not have to wait long for a table for 8 people. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Today there was a clown entertaining the children and free face paints and balloons so the grandchildren were very happy. The service was really good, fast and everything was piping hot and well presented. The great value made this meal out very enjoyable and cheap, worth every penny. The one thing that really stood out was how friendly the staff are. We would definitely be visiting again very soon. Thank you.
