I definitely won’t be back , returned after long break due to poor service ,to find out nothing has changed . I was waiting over 1h for the food till I decided to cancel the order and walk out ….

staff were lovely and the cream tea was lovely, very fresh and good variety, more tea is requested, not a problem. Could not eat all the cakes and a carry out bag was supplied with no issues.

Good menu options for the evening, and reliable service. Had breakfast twice, food was again great but service a bit more hit & miss.

We had a birthday dinner for my wife combined with an overnight stay at the hotel. The food was very good, however the portions were ridiculously small I had the prawn cocktail (£8) which consisted of a small glass of salad with sauce and two prawns an some tiny pieces of crayfish. When I mentioned it to the waitress, I was told that the main courses were much more substancial. Obviously, she didn't realis that I had ordered the beef shin (£19) which was a tiny amount of beef. Admittedly the waitress who removed these dinner plates said that it was small and she would pass the comment on to the head chef. In general, the staff were very good, as were the staff at breakfast the next morning.

We were stating at the hotel and chose to eat here. Atmosphere, food and service all very good and we will be back. Our meal was made all the more entertaining by a couple of drunk ladies sitting behind us who were more than a few sheets to the wind. So much so that one of them fell asleep while eating and gave the diners a laugh and something to talk to each other about. Quite an ice breaker. We will be back.

Was staying in the hotel and enjoyed an amazing breakfast here. Food was great and staff were outstanding.

Enjoyed afternoon tea here as part of our stay in the hotel. Afternoon tea was beautifully presented in quirky wooden picnic tables. Very generous portions and a great selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. We were also served a delicious and refreshing 'mocktail' with our tea. Lovely tea served in lovely surroundings and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Stayed over with a group for a golf weekend and had a lovely evening meal on Saturday evening. Food outstanding, great flavours and textures. Service to our table of 16 was spot on also. Would love to return. Breakfast following morning was equally as good. Really lovely meals.

I have visited here for dinner and breakfast, both of which were tasty and delicious. I would recommend the beef wellington with duck starter for dinner, with the homemade chips. The asparagus and poached chicken is also lovely. Breakfast is a buffet style but it has everything. You can still order from the menu as well. Staff were nicely presented, very attentive and polite. I will definitely be dining here again.

We had a family lunch here for over 20 adults and the restaurant took excellent care of us. The food was tasty, perfectly cooked and presented. The portions were not too large so you can enjoy three courses and not feel overblown. Karen and her team were great. Looking forward to going back next year.

This roomy and well maintained eatery overlooks the golf course and served consistently excellent food.

We were stating in the hotel for a few days and had the DBB package. We booked Flemings the first night and all the adults plumped for the Tasting menu. Suffice to say it was excellent and the quality of the food was fantastic. All of it was superb including the light as a feather souffle dessert.
