Very relaxing and staff made us feel so welcome they couldn't do enough food was so good

Can't complain great food great service staff are great never see one not smiling can't do enough for you and the atmosphere is brilliant

Never had food, but I always think it looks nice, staff have always been very courteous to me, I normally go early afternoon not been at night time

I was surprisingly shocked at how tasty and fresh the food was, staff were absolutely spot on. Girlfriend got fish and mash and I got crispy chicken wrap with curry sauce, sides of onion rings and garlic bread were superb.

Was there for lunch with friends. Service was a bit slow

We eat here about once a month and have the pensioners lunch. The food is freshly cooked and great value. We love the fish tea.

Went with my niece & great nephew, very busy as over Easter Weekend but staff behind bar still smiling & helpful. Food not bad, have had better in there but as I said very busy Easter Weekend.

I've been to the Exchange many times for coffee, lunch and for dinner. The staff have always been friendly in the past, it's clean and had a good atmosphere. This is my first visit since they changed the menu/chef. My friend and I had Fish and chips(me) & Chicken Enchilada (friend). The fish was absolutely awful, I had to peel the very thick tempora batter off to even see the fish (I wish I taken a picture ) The sauce in the enchilada was like a jar of salsa with cubed tough chicken. When the chap came to take the plates away, he asked how it was, when we said poor, he turned his nose up and disappeared. We didn't have drinks so can't review prices etc. It was noisy and very busy, even at 6pm. Disappointed customers!

We celebrated our friends 60th birthday here at The Exchange. We were offered the seating area at the back and it was perfect for our party of 37. Nicola and staff couldn't have been more accommodating from start to finish. Upon arrival, the tables had been made up with table covers, candles banners and balloons. Perfect. If you are ever looking for a venue for a celebration I would highly recommend here. Thank you Nicola and everyone involved for a great day/night 👍

Good wee place. First time here for me but my dad is a regular as it's right beside the buses and does a decent pensioners menu.

Friendly atmosphere, food very good and very reasonably priced. Staff friendly and attentive. Great selection of music always plays in the background.

Great eatery, conveniently situated at EK bus station. Good home cooked meals. I'm no Gordon Ramsay, but would find difficulty believing the food was not fresh and well cooked. Like Ramsay, I believe I am able to distinguish frozen or microwaved food. Don't know how this food oasis manages to offer cut price pensioner meals, but quality and quantity are not compromised.

It is one place that's good for food and drinks and only place I no that sells Jim beam red stag

very hostile not a friendly place , staff cause conflict with customers esp. at taxi rank late at night the only good outcome of that venue is do not go anyhow the area is CCTV monitored

Place was full of men drinking and way too noisy for us. Yes, it's reasonably priced but not the sort of establishment that you would take a family or an elderly person for a meal or something.

Our community group Coffee Chat & Company had an amazing Christmas lunch at The Exchange East Kilbride . The food was delicious & great portions , the atmosphere was great and Tracy , Kirsty & all the staff were brilliant they looked after us all . We will be back 🥰🙏🏻

Sunday night was an amazing atmosphere, they are now doing pizzas till ten at night. We had the ham and pineapple and a last drink before home. Brilliant idea and well worth it!

Popped in for a quick drink waiting for my bus. Had a half pint and a large whisky £7-60 a bit expensive i think but that was not the worst thing the half pint was served in a third of a pint glass . First time I've ever seen that.

Ordered 2 macaroni cheese and chips. Small portions and oven chips. Didn't look at menu. Nearly fell of my seat when I saw it was 18pounds.The cost of making it about 3pounds the profit margin huge. Never again.

Considering the current cirumstances, incredibly hard working efficient staff. Correct balance betwen compliance with COVÌD19 protocols and allowing people to relax and have a good time. Will be back

Can't fault the staff, very friendly and courteous but was shocked this evening by the lack of non compliance of a significant number of patrons between 8-9pm(i left shortly after) There really needs to be a steward on nights like this, groups came in but partrons following came in while others were giving track and trace derails, some booths had more than 8 people, plus friends standing at ends of table talking to then, the toilets(gents) which I believe allow one at a time had SIX people, I only entered as the door slide said the toilet was vacant, people came in for a chat after a pee, look about etc. I pointed this out to one of the colleagues(beautiful blonde, lovely eyes, great smile) and while I said I wasn't blaming her or staff for patrons behavior, the need for a steward was there to try and enforce compliance and stop the place getting Into bother if inspected, she seemed to take it personally. As I've said, she, as the rest of the staff, have been great but the amount of non compliant patrons has put me off from visiting again

The Exchange bar was very busy when we visited at lunch time. It was spotlessly clean and although the staff were extremely busy we had our meal in a very short time. Everything was well cooked and presented. We have been several times and would recommend it.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Social distancing well set up. Very clean and tables and chairs cleaned every time someone vacates the premises.

Very busy, lively atmosphere and food was good but there was an argument with the Manageress with a member of the Public going on in full view of the customers. Would have thought they would have used the office.

It's a pleasant pub.. friendly staff.. Had a meal with my brother and we both were less than happy... Wasn't asked if we enjoyed our meal... if I was..I would have said no.. Don't think I will eat there again Sad really as I was looking forward to my meal

Pensioners eating soup, drinking, snoozing. EK Town Centre has some of the worst pubs in the world. This one is averagely bad.

A fantastic Hogmanay with Ashley and Kris entertaining. Staff were excellent as was the buffet. Perfect start to 2020. Thanks to everyone involved.

Good place to meet up with friends. Friendly pub, always a good night. Food can be a hit or a miss. Bring back the chef that they had a cuppla years ago, so much nicer.

My issue with this place is that the service is appaling..There is so many barmaids with terrible customer care and have stood while they chat behind the bar for a considerable time.Then when they do serve you they are unfriendly.This happens frequently and even on busy times or quiet times .No excuse and they might think they are doing a good job but they most certainly arrent..The management are actually very proactive and inject a community feel. They cater for elderly and the food is good and promptly served...They provide entertainment like your usual darts and doms and footy on tv and yes the karaoke nights with some good and some very good and some bad but they give it a go... If the service was better this could be a good place to go...🤔
