The Elk Bar in Hammersmith and Fulham

Great place, I went there years ago when my current wife first came to visit London. The atmosphere was chilled and we hung out in the garden.

Excellent bar, good location, friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks, good selection of drinks, what more do you want?

The Elk Bar is a good place for food and drink. Nice bar and grill with a good menu and reasonable prices.

Didn't like this place one bit.

He estado trabajando en una oficina justo al lado de The Elk durante casi medio año. Es nuestro ir a lugar. La comida / parrilla que tienen es definitivamente superior a la media teniendo en cuenta el precio. Tienen una variedad de cervezas de barril y no las cosas habituales que hacen la mayoría de los pubs / bares. DJ llega alrededor de las 9:00 p.m. de jueves a sábado. No es un lugar al que quieras ir cada semana / fin de semana. . pero de vez en cuando es definitivamente recomendable. El personal del bar es muy amable también.

I like this place. Great beer garden on a nice day. It's especially great earlier in the day / afternoon when it's emptier and calmer. I haven't tried the food but the BBQ smells nice! It's not cheap but it is Fulham!

Mi bf y yo fuimos rechazados porque cuando nos preguntaron dijimos que habíamos ido al partido de fútbol de caridad antes, completamente sobrios, sin camisetas de fútbol o agresivos o groseros, y nos dijeron que el portero no discriminaba porque la discriminación se basaba en el color . Me and my bf got turned away because when asked we said had been to the charity football match earlier, completely sober, not wearing football shirts or in any way aggressive or rude and got told it’s not discrimination by the doorman because discrimination is based on colour. Please educate your staff, I think they are confusing racism with discrimination. I don’t appreciate being talked down to. Discrimination is “the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex.”

Este pub están felices de tomar su dinero antes de un partido (como grupo, pasamos en exceso de 200 libras, incluyendo la comida). Regresamos después del partido, ninguno de nosotros vestían camisetas de fútbol y éramos 3 parejas. Nos preguntaron en la puerta, si hubiéramos estado al partido, (leyendas) cuando nos confirmó que habíamos estado, nos ha negado el acceso! ! Mi marido comentamos, y nos informaron de que la gente quería disfrutar de su noche en allí sin que cantan los aficionados. . . . Cito. . Si quieres pasar una agradable velada con su señora, no quieres un montón de aficionados al fútbol en que señaló que él estaba con su 'Missus" pero él simplemente se encogieron de hombros. El personal estaban pidiendo a todo el mundo si habían sido al juego, individual, parejas no sólo grupos, eran de entrada se negó. Yo estaba indignado con este juego como pre, había un montón de ventiladores de Chelsea y un ambiente encantador, así que no sé lo que pensaron sería diferente. Nunca volveré aquí de nuevo y avisar a todos los amantes de juegos de Chelsea que sabemos (muchos! ) para evitar a toda costa! ! ! Patético!

Pasó la tarde antes de la Chelsea legends juego disfrutando de unas cervezas con amigos, intentó volver después del juego, pero se negó de entrada Tenían porteros en la puerta, en los terrenos que no estaban permitiendo que los aficionados al fútbol. La próxima temporada que será gastar mi dinero en otras cosas, es una pena, ya que he pasado un par de años visitando el alce tanto antes y después de los juegos.

Bellissima serata in compagnia, ottimi i mojto e i cocktails in generale, dal vodka tonic a tutti gli altri drinks. Il dj mette musica molto piaacevole .

The Asian doorman with the beard tried to get us to pay an entry fee even though there was nothing on their website about an entrance fee. I got my credit card out to pay but he insisted that we had to give him cash. At this point we knew he was dodgy so we went somewhere else. Be careful.

Burger and chips £5.00 cant go wrong

A big place, where you can eat barbeque meat or drink quality drinks. There is space for dance as well, and toilet are clean. Stuff is friendly.

The Elk fue una elección de uno de nuestros amigos. Parecía un tipo de barra tardía. Tal vez el clima nevado jugó un papel importante, pero no se desarrollaba en este sábado en particular. Realmente disfruté el tiempo que pasamos aquí. La comida era buena, con buena música y un personal atento.

This place is nice but needs refurbishment and new decoration. Inside still looks very old along with the table and chairs.

Food was tasty and happy hour was great. They advertised 3£ beers but there was only one, but did the job. Toilets were pretty clean.

Australian day was the event I at this time in Elk bar located im Fulham area. Cheap drinks, live dj and fun. Unique negative point was the watery mojito, had to stop drinking because no flavour of alcohol inside at all. The australian bier Bondi was cool, light and nice taste.

Amazing value on a Thursday night! Love the decour and staff, music could be a little better. Needs to play less mainstream and a little bit more R&B, tropical house and trap remix's.

Food is on point (ribs are incredible!) staff are awesome and welcomes all ages and Races (unlike the slug). I like how it turns into a mini club in the night

Good happy hour offers, 5-8 Monday-Friday. Not the greatest selection of beers. Food is average, as is service. When the bar was quite busy a couple of the servers were chatting and laughing about something on a phone. Nice outdoor space, indoors is a bit grimey. Not somewhere I'd rush back to

Very nice cocktails (happy hours from 5 to 8PM), delicious hamburgers (average price... £9-£10) and good music as well! The employees are so kind.

Mis amigos y yo visitamos el Elk para su famoso taco Martes, sólo para descubrir que paró haciendo esto hace un tiempo, así que nos acomodamos para algunos suene hamburguesas en su lugar. Soy un pescetarian y la única opción en el menú era una hamburguesa vegetal que parecía genial (yo no incluyen opciones como papas fritas, nachos y comida adecuada para cenar). Por desgracia, me dijeron que no tenían más hamburguesas vegetarianas y no había otras opciones para mí, excepto por el dicho nachos. Decepcionante. Nos fuimos y nos fuimos por la carretera a Byron Burger y las hamburguesas no eran deliciosos y el personal más servicial!

Nice place and funny, lovely music.

Parado por un happy hour y pedimos algunas alas adherente". Por desgracia, las alas estaban secos y le faltaba sabor sin aparente saucing. Disfruté de mi cerveza y las patatas fritas de acompañamiento eran sabrosos. Era un lugar típico con un par de mesas en la ventana y un montón de espacio en el centro de deportes en la televisión.

Nous sommes allés entre amis dans ce bar au départ simplement pour manger et avons finalement passés une très bonne soirée. Le service était top, l ambiance sympa et conviviale mention spéciale à nos deux serveuses françaises.

A fun and easy place to go on Sat evening

No tenía realmente pensamos comer en el Elk, mucho sino más bien un lugar para beber, pero teníamos 2 hamburguesas y las patatas fritas, chili y nos impresionó mucho! La hamburguesa era delicioso y lo mismo con las patatas fritas. El servicio también era genial, sin duda tienes que probar más de su menú!

Went on a sat night for two drinks before cinema. Was quiet to start, comfy, sat in the beer garden which was nice. When we were leaving at 9:45 it had changed to quite a young drunk crowd. Completely different atmosphere! Staff were good.

Favourite place. Chilled. Cheap . Not so trashy, opened till late. Went in with shorts during summer. Love it.

Great experience for sports, barbecue and pints during the day and early evening. Often overcrowded at night.

Jardín muy guay la cerveza en el, me encantó la pequeña cocina allí. Mesas largas y decoración. Jarras y jarras de tenía cócteles que estaban bien de precio y muy sabroso. Comimos alitas de pollo, nachos, que eran impresionantes.

Great bar with BBQ outside. Can be crowded on game days with entry restricted to home fans only.

In fairness, I wasn't there for a normal drink or meal. I was there at 5am to watch the AFL Grand Final. The charged 8 quid for entry and for that you received a beer and a bacon roll and plenty of screens to watch the game. Might seem a bit cheeky charging but I'm fine with that.

One of the best burgers in Fulham and comes with fries for a fiver!

The pub offers a good selection of beverages. As it was a Chelsea match day however the beers were served in plastic cups. The beers therefore tasted rather flat. It is quite dark inside with minimal lighting and not much day light passing through. However the garden area is well maintained with a lot of seating and makes a great place to have a al fresco boozy lunch. A nice touch is the BBQ pit serving a selection of food.The price is quite high for drinks but the food is good value. I wouldn't recommend eating here on a match day.

Sentamos no primeiro ambiente, que é bem decorado! Com galhos que lembram chifres de alce, nas paredes e nos lustres.O atendimento é por sua conta, você mesmo deve ir até o balcão. Não pedimos comida porque a cozinha encerra cedo, como a maioria em Londres.

I came in on Saturday lunch to try the new Boozy Brunch menu. I have ordered the smashed avocado with heirloom tomatoes and smoked Salmon and my friend ordered the Breakfast Burger. Well, what can i say...the food was amazing from both taste and presentation aspects. We also added a bottle of Brooklyn lager which was part of the deal during that time. The staff was friendly and chatty, and the garden is by far the best i have seen in Fulham. We are definitely coming back soon!

Packed on Mojito night, so go early. Drink pricing is what you expect for a place like this - £4 up for the cheapest pint. The backyard is a nice place in the summer. They have a BBQ/grill out the back, which is where they grill certain meats on. They have a nice affordable lunch menu, which is changed daily. With their lunch menu, it would be good if they include a small softdrink in the price. Whetherspoons is around the corner, so you should be competitive against them. If you're going for a business lunch, this a good place to go. Your customers won't be disappointed.

Like the nearby Slug, this is the place to be if you want to get really stinking drunk. Usually when the queue to the Slug is too long, let's be honest.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. We were expecting there to be food however were told it was an outside BBQ. None the less we went outside on a sunny afternoon to try it out. Lovely garden to sit and watch the football in, fantastic food as well. Piri piri burger was okay, maybe it wasn't quite what I was expecting and the chips were very greasy but aside from the food the atmosphere was brilliant. Will be visiting again.

Went here before the chelsea game yesterday had a couple of pints and soaked up the atmosphere but gobsmaked to be charged£8.90 for one pint and a coke Complete ripping off the fans so won't be returning anytime soon

Nice bar, good food. Only issue is the 21 and over rule, which at the time of my first visit, caused me to be refused entry. However on returning, the mojito value was sublime. The banter followed accordingly, with the only downside of the evening being that the music request for trap queen- fetty wap was denied. No matter, the slug was next on the agenda and the song was played 17 times there. unbelievable scenes.

I have been to this place a couple of times and have always had fun. However on 2 of the most recent occasions there has been an issue using the happy hour. The first time I asked for 2 bottles of the Pinot Grigio (which I believed to be buy one get one free) - when it came to paying I realised this wasn't the case and asked if I could swap for the ones included in the happy hour...they said no.Last night we were here and got to The Elk just in time for the end of happy hour, we started queing at the bar at 5 mins before it finished however due to the people in front of us ordering a lot of cocktails, by the time we got served Happy hour was finished. I asked as we were there before it finished if we could still use happy hour pricing...they said no.As I say fun place, shame they're so money grabbing though.

Every thursday night they have an offer- £2.95 a mojito! An absolute bargain! The bar is long and always well staffed. My friends and I go here all the time for parties or just drinks. Music is good as well though sometimes a bit too loud in the evening around 5pm to 8pm.

Yummy 241 cocktails!We stopped by on our way to dinner in fulham for some cocktails. Nice mojitos! Was a little crowded as the Chelsea match was on but then the place started to empty out as supporters head out to the stadium.Food menu looked good but we didn't eat there! Only short walk from Fulham Broadway station!
