Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t stay, absolutely filthy place. Tables and chairs covered in sticky residue, literal food on the menus, and the walls have big chunks of paint/wallpaper missing where it’s crumbled off.

Excellent food and staff. Vicky is a great staff member and made our night special . The food is bang on and we all went home full and happy . Can you please bring back beef dripping gravy though not keen on the others . Apart from that you get a 10/10 from me

On the 12th of March 2023, a party of four arrived for lunch at Elizabeth Arms Sedgmoor. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The manager and staff displayed unprofessional and unwelcoming behavior, lacking proper decorum. The quality of service was at its lowest, with the fish dish being overly greasy and undercooked, leaving much to be desired. The vegetables seemed lackluster, adding to the overall disappointment of the meal. The standard of food and customer service fell far below expectations, tarnishing the dining experience. Furthermore, the return of the old manager seemed to result in continued poor service throughout the visit. This drastic decline in service quality left the patrons feeling unwelcome, especially considering their positive experiences at the establishment over the past three months. Add pub car park empty vibrant energy gas gone very sad . Would not recommend to anybody In conclusion, today's experience at Elizabeth Arms Sedgmoor was disappointing and did not meet the previously experienced excellent standard of service. It is evident that improvements are needed to restore customer satisfaction and uphold the reputation of the establishment.

A great family experience with friendly helpful staff and lovely affordable food. The table was reserved for us when we got there which was booked around a couple of weeks ago. There was a large choice on the menu and all our food arrived together ( 7 meals) and was very filling. Drinks were reasonably priced for a restaurant. Would definitely go again.

This pub is really local to me, so we always pop in during the week for food. Since new management have taken over, there has been a huge difference in the quality of the food and service here. The staff are all really friendly, the food and steaks are much better and presentation is always great. Hats off to the turn around, it is definitely busier, the pub is much better and you should all be really proud. We love the chicken bites starter, and other half always has loaded steak of some kind. Always great, can't recommend enough. Keep an eye on the app for offers as well. Always some great discounts on there.

I never expect much from this kind of pub. We just go as it’s local. However it’s getting worse and worse with every trip. It’s recently changed management again and we’d hoped that this would be a new leaf. Last week was the last straw. A beef burger that tasted of rancid fat and a chicken burger that I can only assume had been microwaved too long as it was so hard I couldn’t eat it. How do you make a chicken burger hard?? It’s ridiculous. The staff are mostly pleasant. The new manager is a bit rude. The main issue is the kitchen. I’d take a bet that our beef burger was past its use by date. There’s only one thing that causes it to taste rancid.

Well the family got me back and what a difference a few years make! This evening we were greeted by the most friendliet staff .When the bar guy checked to see if my wine glass was spotless before serving was the perfect start. When seated the tables were spotlessly clean and so were the sauce bottles and menus on table.(this is a real pet hate of mine ..food smeared of menus from previous diners and mucky sticky sauce bottles) Toilets were also clean and tidy time. My sister and I both had steak which was cooked to perfection. I believe that it has been taken over and I can really say they are turning this place around,lovely evening and lovely food. Firstly must say the bar staff were amazingly polite and happy. The food was just about ok. Not as nice as it has been on previous visits. The child were almost hollow as tho re fried a few times., the Chinese belly pork was not really hot and not very much flavour. Will come back even if it's just.for a pint for the bar staff 😀

Used to be good but changes to menu - and a lot no longer available - and quality has fallen immensely... Menu shortened and most of good stuff removed - no 'standard plate' curries at all - now just the one and that is an 'Ultimate Plate' and far too big for my appetite... We both had starters - I had calimari, partner had mushroom starter - both were, at best, tepid - and calimari was extremely overcooked and rubbery. Liz had a main course - cheese&mac - didn't comment... No main course for me - nothing that I would have wanted on the menu! Eton Mess sundae - was OK. Won't be back in a hurry unless things greatly improve, Wetherspoon's for us from now on... decent range of items on the menu, and well cooked too!!

The Elizabeth arms is a local pub just down the road from where I live I go there with my daughters kiren and Sharon have a good lunch there and the food is absolutely amazing u can’t go wrong there not pricey Tammy Betts Bains that I known years is amazing good loving caring person she helps all there when needed with that smile on her face 😊 keeps u going when I go to the local Tammy there’s helping people round when u get to know her u can’t go wrong and she’s always laughing with the customer making them happy to my daughters said tammys amazing good with her service and everything else ❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊 Nikki

Staff seem to be determined to close this pub. It shuts at 9pm in week and 10pm Friday and Saturday and they give you 15mins drinking up. Wanted a platter but they had no no chicken so had dirty fries no but no jalapenos, no spring onion and about one nacho broken up on top nothing like menu picture. They had beautiful hanging baskets in beer garden when we visited but staff cant be bothered to water them so they are now all dead. Toilets are dirty. Had to wait long time to get served. Staff have no pride in pub or their jobs. Fear this pub will close soon which is a shame as we used to be regular customers.

I have used this pub many times iver thd years and been satisfied. This pub has gone downhill, now overdue and desperate for s good clean and refurbishment. Tables sticky and old. Walls need cleanjng repainting and paintwork now patchy. Toilets are grim , dirty and unkempt. Food order took ages to arrive although pub was not busy at time of visit. Starters took 25 minutes to arrive and mains took 40 minutes to arrive after the starters were finished. Starters weren't too bad but mains poor quality. Chips dry and overcooked. Soggy onion rings and steak was well done yet ordered medium. The chicken fajita was abysmal 4 small strips of breast provided with 2 huge wraps and to top it off the chicken with it was overcooked and inedible. Was too tired and hot to complain. Will not return here until a refurb competed.

Had a really nice meal tonight, ordered salad off the 2for £11 and lasagne. Really nice, added the chicken bites as a starter - cooked perfectly. Had an early lunch here today, although the food on offer is the usual “ pub meals” type menu, it was cooked perfectly and hot, not just lukewarm as is sometimes the case with pub food when it was delivered to our table after only a short wait. My husband had the breakfast which he really enjoyed I had scampi and chips, I know I’m boring, Staff were friendly and helpful but the icing on the cake for me as I’m disabled and on good days walk short distances on two crutches, not so good days use a wheelchair, was the ramp from the car park to the door and another from the door to the restaurant area as well as a disabled toilet, that is to say higher than a normal loo. All in all a very good experience.

Me and some friends visited this restaurant at the weekend and had 4 different meals which we all thought was nice. The menu has a really good selection but the service we received was a bit average, we must of told the lady a couple of times what we wanted and twice she missed what we ordered, she did do it correct in the end but it wasn't hard what we asked for.

Waited over an hour for deserts and 1 member of staff on the bar! No one seems to know what they are doing. Lack of cleanliness, it's a wonder how the kitchen staff are still serving food with no plates in the kitchen to put things on! Floor staff just vanish, a shame really when Christmas is a busy period for any pub and the staff don't seem too care about the business itself. Table booked for 3.00pm.Difficult to enter as swarms of people milling around.No staff on duty at door to advise you where your table was.Eventually after a considerable wait we managed to locate a staff member who eventually advised us which was our allocated table.After a small delay our table was laid and were seated.Starters were served quickly followed by our main course.The Christmas meal was un eatable sprouts you could squeeze out the water,roasted potatoes soggy so was the cauliflower.One of our party had ordered a steak,this was so overcooked it was not possible to cut it with a steak knife.All meals were were sent back and a meeting was had with the manager who was not interested telling us they were catering for 250 guests.After a very long discussion he did eventually agree to a partial refund we advised him we required a total refund.Now waiting for a reply as he said he would have to discuss it with his superiors.Will not visit again.

Visited here with my family and can't fault the place. Staff are friendly and the food is fantastic with generous portions and lots of choice. My teenage children love the burgers and chips which are great value for under £6 and you get a drink included. Will definitely be coming back again.

Back in for breakfast with my son again today. It was fab as usual and great value, two works baps (sausage, egg and bacon), one with hash brown on the side and two hot drinks for £8.50ish. Usually come in fortnightly, the staff are always friendly and helpful, one even knows our order so asks if we want the usual... Maybe we are coming in too often

Following a Bad previous experience, complimentary deserts and discounts were given to revisit this venue, wish I hadn’t bother the tables were dirty , understaffed and bad attitude of Both male servers one behind the bar trying to run it and the young lad serving tables with no hospitality skills what’s so ever. Arrived at 7 pm on Saturday 12th Oct to find only 3 tables in restaurant area and a 50 min wait on food.... at 7pm!!!

Stopped in after work. Had the steak which was good. My partner had the ham, chicken and cheese pie. Filling was good but the pastry was obviously made from the latest material designed to replace concrete.

Visit here quite alot and always find the food hit and miss. Mainly you cant fault the place, normally clean and tidy, friendly service and a decent meal. The prices are cheap and I find you get what you pay for, lately seems to be decreasing in value. But I've never had a bad meal and would return as sometimes it's really lovely

Have never been here before but wanted to take my son out for a meal last night, just mother and son time for once (ie. 2 adults)! The restaurant was spotlessly clean, atmosphere friendly and welcoming. Staff were polite and helpful. Didn’t have to wait long for our meals, piping hot when it was served. I’m a vegetarian and the options for my choice of meal were well catered for. The prices are very competitive and both my son and I were asked by restaurant staff “is everything satisfactory for you “? The food was first class and we both thoroughly enjoyed our respective meals. A fantastic evening out. I would definitely recommend The Elizabeth Arms hence my 5 star rating. Me my partner and friends went for food. While stood at the bar I had a plastic ball thrown at me by a member of staff. As I looked round to her she shrugged her shoulders and laughed and said it’s only a plastic ball. I expected her to come and apologise, not because I was physically hurt but because I am a pregnant lady & a paying customer and I do not expect to go out for a meal and have something thrown at me by a member of staff. Anyway she didn’t approach me and went round and cleared everyone’s table apart from ours. I had to ask another member of staff to clear our table after waiting almost half an hour after we finished our food. During our time there me and my friends noticed she was drinking from customers glasses containing lager and was spending a lot of her time flirting and being touchy feely with some of the male customers. After we had our deserts brought to us I called the waitress over and explained that I didn't appreciate what had happened and that she hadn’t apologised. Instead of accepting what I was saying I was met with an extremely aggressive response of shouting and excuses. I explained calmly that I didn’t care whether it was a plastic ball or a bowling I still didn’t appreciate what happened and how she dealt with it. My back went straight up after I was met with that response from the waitress and I felt like I had to stand there and defend myself even though I hadn’t done a thing wrong and had approached things very calmly. The whole situation ended up with me and her shouting at each other and being told not to get her started in a threatening way. The manager came out and instead of asking me my side of the story he immediately told me I was no longer being served and I had to leave. I found the whole thing distressing. I am a calm and fair person and to be dealt with in the manner that I was is very upsetting. I have left there feeling like I was in the wrong and very disheartened. I am so unhappy with the customer service and how I was treated. I will never be going back again and I am going to be filing an official complaint. Very disappointing.

I was meeting up with a friend for some food and a few drinks to talk about my upcoming wedding, our food was lovely, didn’t take long and was hot when it arrived.

Had to send back my mixed grill twice due to a very fatty gammon and due to my "well done" steak still having blood inside. Really not impressed that I now have to wait a further 20 minutes for my new plate.

Busy for a Monday lunchtime. We ordered and food arrived within 10 minutes. Burgers were huge and tasted good. Chips were lukewarm. We were asked if everything was OK, we said about chips and the waitress immediately offered to get us more. We declined, she then offered us a free desert. We said no but we were really pleased with their customer service and the way they immediately tried to rectify the problem.

I visited here with my wife on Bank Holiday Monday and it was very busy, was served by Lisa on the bar who was very polite and friendly.
