Excellent shop but prices are inflated without any justification. Greek giant beans (small bag) costed 9.50. Coming from Greece, I know that this is ridiculously increased price. I will go again but will not buy my beans again from here.

I had a disappointing experience here. The owner was unfriendly and seemed irritated, making us feel quite uncomfortable throughout our visit. We were overcharged by £7 due to a supposed 'mistake,' and an additional £2 was added for a piece of bread that wasn’t listed on the menu. This felt unfair and left a poor impression

At The Ealing Grocer I experienced some of the warmest customer service I’ve encountered in recent memory. The joy and passion with which this business is run is evident by their recommendations and their interactions with their customers.

This is a lovely independent grocers/deli. Fresh fruit and vegetables/excellent cheeses/jars and packets of all sorts of deliciousness/wonderful baked goods and interesting soft serve are all available along with many other wonderful products. It’s a great place to go to for something special for yourself a gift for others or to impress at a dinner party. I would highly recommend following their instagram account as they post a video every weekend giving the weeks lowdown on the newest arrivals and exciting products. It’s the kind of place that makes you excited about food again. Like a little borough market……but without all hustle and bustle of the tourists.

I had already visited this shop before and decided to make a visit again today, However, one of the shopkeepers, a man with glasses. Was impolite, rude and prejudice towards my race and color. I am very disappointed in the service I received, and I am afraid I won't be planning to make a visit there ever again!. (Also to make note, make sure to check the best before/expiry date on any of the items in a jar for some of them may be out of date! By a couple of months! Or by a day)

Very extensive produce available and loads to explore inside as well as out. Vegetables are clearly the focus, but cheeses, pastries, condiments, oils and many other high quality items available. You can also ask the owner to prepare meals for you. Well worth popping here rather than the supermarket, although it’s quite a bit more expensive.

London, let alone Ealing, doesn't deserve it. Outstanding cheeses, cultured butter, rare vinegars, charcuterie, sweet tomatoes, fresh bread and croissants, and homemade honey ice cream. No, we don't deserve it. Stephen Shaw, July 2022

Excellent produce, very varied and top quality! The 3* are just due to the prices, which prohibitive!!! I'd say around 40% more expensive that what it should be. £7,50 for 10 eggs? Over £2,50 for a pint of milk (not even organic!). What a shame, I wish they would revise their prices, as I'd shop here much more often.

Interesting street scene: Where two businesses co-ordinate with each other. Pulp where you stop for a coffee and you see well displayed fruit and vegetables you just want to buy. Go into the shop even more gastro delights cheese, bread and so much more. Do your shopping for for fruit and vegetables and of course you want a coffee, come rain, come shine. What harmony they are together and a fine looking shop with so much more!

I’ve been here a few times; there is a wide selection of vegetables on display, however on the times I’ve been they tend to be past their best, wilting and still selling at (an already vastly inflated) full price. On one trip, I bought soup and bread - the soup, though nice was pretty average given the high price and the bread completely stale. I was offered replacement bread on my next visit when I messaged them but, to be honest, they need to focus on the freshness of their stock as at these prices this shouldn’t happen. The inside of the shop is stacked with a vast array but there’s almost too much to choose from - maybe a slightly more concise, curated selection would make for a more pleasant shopping experience. I don’t think I’ll bother going again.

Having just moved into the area from neighbouring Fulham this grocer/deli is a joy to discover. Bayley and Sage has nothing on this place. It is an Aladdins cave for the foodie. The proprietor champions all excellent foods from the high to the low price range from the U.K. and Europe and further. You will find Greek biscuits at something like a £1.25 a packet to great big jars of amazing Tuna at £50. A passionate selection of vinegars, cheeses and cured meats and of-course an amazing array of unique and interesting vegetables. These are but a few things you can find here the list is endless and everything carefully curated. There are things I’ve never seen before which makes one want to cook. I would advise anyone to go along and visit the lovely owner/team and to shop local! It’s a jewel in Ealing crown.

I was seriously excited to discover this shop yesterday, as I think that London, for all its boasts of being a gastronomic power house, is poorly served for fruit and vegetables by the supermarkets and grocers. It is as if the buyers of these products never ever taste them. Now, I note the comment of a negative reviewer here that she bought Gouda that was excessively hard, but rather than writing a negative review, she should have taken it back. I myself thought that the runner beans, some lettuces and the Cyprus potatoes all looked sad, and for that reason I did not buy them. But that did not deter me from buying other produce which thrilled me. The passion of the sales assistant Rose was infectious, and I sought her opinion in making my selection. I recommend anyone who cares about food to visit and make informed choices. True, I will not pay over £1 for a peach. Finding a good one at a price I will pay is one of the hardships of living in England, but the climate is hotting up.

Great store offering a little piece of the Mediterranean in Ealing. Definitely worth a visit to get something different for lunch or dinner with really tasty ingredients, fresh fruit and veg, good cheeses and breads. Really lovely staff, too!

A very pretty shop but I won't be returning. Always trying to support local businesses it is sad I can not support this one. The prices are high but then it is Ealing but the quality should match the price. I made the mistake of asking for some Gouda from the round on display and should have been forwarned by the difficulty they had cutting it with a wire but was told it was the wax covering that made it difficult. It wasn't. When I got home and went to cut the cheese to use I discovered it was rock hard. Now I know Gouda is a firm cheese but I had to grate it to use it. If I had wanted parmesan I would have asked for it. If you are charging premium prices you must sell premium goods in perfect order. I suggest you check your cheeses in future.

The pizza was very nice at a very good price. I would have given it four stars for food, if not for the peri fries. They were completely soggy and did not taste nice. I’d order again just for the pizza.
