Very cheap at £2.90 for a pint of carling, but being cheap attracts all the down and outs like a magnet. I think only people with jobs were those working behind the bar.

Ordered 2 Heiniken Zero beers and charged £7.20. Told bartender about their advertising poster where it stated 2 for £6, he refused to correct the price by telling me that the computer wouldn't allow it, and then told me to contact the brewery Co. Which i have done. The bartender was quite abrupt in his answer and I ended up feeling short changed by £1.20. If he had simply provided good customer service, I wouldn't have contacted the brewery chain or even put this review on TripAdvisor. I was only visiting King's Lynn as a soli traveller on this occasion. The pub in itself looked pretty much very good, but I did not receive the service I expected.

Visit here at least twice a month. It's a craft union establishment where customers know how to drink! Being able to buy a pint for £2 does attract the early morning (10am bar flies) however unless disturbed from their projection of their "woe is me" tales to the ever suffering bar staff they generally are quite peaceful and do not disturb you from having a quick pit stop and refreshment! The Eagle does not serve food. It does however offer as previously mentioned a wide variety of alcoholic beverages. It has a large beer garden, music, pool tabke, dart board and all the local sports shown on all of the many Tv's within the pub including at the table booths. The toilets serve their purpose but only just and depending on how heavy the weekend or day has been will depend on how clean they are and if their is a seat/ toilet paper or even toilet door available. There are bouncers on the doors on weekend evenings and their is a taxi rank directly opposite the pub. Overall this is a pub worth a visit if your looking for a cheap drink and to watch a bit of sport on TV.

This friendly pub is near the railway station and we popped in here on the way (and the way back) from the football ground. It's a Castle Rock pub so the beers are good. I particularly liked the Screech Owl American IPA. The locals are friendly and the prices are reasonable. Proper good boozer!

One guy serving everyone. Waiting ages for a bag already done ! Cold food, poor service. Was going to dine in but empty tables were dirty.

Best in Norfolk if you ask me. Never go anywhere else for my king prawn curry, and the kids love the chips and curry sauce :))
