Door staff last night made inappropriate remarks about a 17 year old girl walking past

Bouncers literally screaming at people in the street and playing favourites of who they let in, said there was no space for my friend while we were sat at a table with a reserved spot for him, they called him drunk even though he'd just left work but they had no issue letting in their 'friends' as soon as they turned up jumping ahead of people thay had been waiting to be let in.

On the didsbury dozen route replacing the previous pub - won’t let in any big groups or anyone with any fancy dress (we had sunglasses on hardly fancy dress) pretty dull. Just posting so people planning the route know to avoid - seems pretty silly to be turning away good business. If you’re doing the didsbury dozen split up into small groups. But probably worth just avoiding unless you love paying like £7 for a pint

Another “Irish” establishment that is putting a false identity to bring in punters. Thought they would learn from their venture in northern quarter but clearly haven’t. Another place that could be considered a b tech attempt at being an Irish bar. Mediocre pulled pints and a menu with Irish buzz words thrown in. It’s the equivalent to an American Irish bar. You’d sooner see a better attempt at an “Irish fry up” in Ethiopia than you would in this gaff

Great staff, good pint of Guinness. Lovely live music and the spice bags are good. Good for watching sports, they put on GAA too. Good place to meet people

Went to try a pint for paddy’s day in this new pub in didsbury. Got to the door faced with two extremely worrying empty head doorman who told us the bar was too busy. We looked through the door and the bar was half full at about 5pm. Asked the question again about the half full bar and got ‘the computer says no’ answer. Shame two poorly trained door staff can ruin a customers impression of a new bar with terrible customer service skills. I won’t be back based on the door staff not friendly and sadly no ability to deal with customers. Much better visiting the station across the road, as they welcome you even when packed to the rafters. So in short…. refused entry into a new Irish bar in Didsbury, that was half full on the biggest Irish celebration day of the year….you couldn’t write it…

Went on st Patricks day, so very busy but had a brilliant time! Although security were quite aggressive, pints were great, bar staff were helpful and the live band was fantastic.

Really great experience in the Salmon. Fabulous food, love the Caffreys ale. Brilliant live band. Loving it here.

Atmosphere is quite good. Service was also ok and food decent but nothing really amazing here. It meets the need for some grub and a drink. But isn’t too rowdy

Went on a Thursday great drink selection for beer on draught food quality was great value for money. Quiz was good even though we came last

Good pub in middle of Didsbury. Great selection of beers but kind of expensive. Shuffle board and tables to watch footy / sport. On the Didsbury Dozen as well

ALLOWS HOMOPHOBIC AND RACIST LANGUAGE FROM CUSTOMERS TOWARDS OTHER CUSTOMERS. Proceeds to attempt to kick them out, but cannot do their job properly and allows them to come BACK OVER TO US. SHOCKING.

I was there last night with my partner and friends and saw that the girl (Rebecca Webb) who has commented previously and her group of friends were being awful to the staff. So that review is fraudulent, if you are rude to the staff and then get refused service for being blatantly intoxicated don’t then post a fraudulent review. Disgrace to other customers who were there to have a good time. The only downside to my outing last night was having to hear You and your friends speaking to people like that. As someone who worked in hospitality for nine years you should be appalled and embarrassed by your behaviour. My partner pointed out the review posted so I couldn’t help but write my own! Dockyard was great, I go every time I am in didsbury and always have a great time, thought the girls who were in yesterday did really well considering how slammed it was. Thanks for your smiling service and getting all our drink orders spot on😂😂food was also unreal can’t wait to return

The staff were really rude. Was trying to have a good time on the Didbsury dozen and she really ruined it for us which is a shame.

A pub with a bustling vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful and service is efficient. We stopped for a bite to eat and a drink and could have stayed much longer. We had the bao buns and Tokyo burger and both dishes were fresh and tasty.

Zaid and Omar were so respectful and kind. I’ve never had a bouncer experience like this one. I would definitely recommend coming, they are understanding and patient, exactly what you expect in a bouncer. Come to the dockyard!!!

Great service ambiance and stuff with nice people around

We went to watch the Manchester derby. The pub was very busy but the service was quick and had a number of screens to watch the match.

Had a terrible experience at a bar quite close, walked in and was served as quick as possible by kind staff. Enjoyed the drinks and the food looked amazing. I didn’t have any myself as we had just eaten however I will definitely be keeping this place in mind. Thank you.

Nice and friendly in the day with a helpful staff and a good selection of beers. I'm too old for it in the evening much younger and louder.

Been in three other Dockyards and this is not a patch on them, a bit dowdy, dull even on a sunny day, a bit dirty especially the toilet area, on a Saturday afternoon when City or United aren't at home generally full of drunken laddish types. Only upside is that the staff are generally efficient and friendly.

Honestly since this changed to dockyard it's beer price has rocketed up but quality has fallen. Draft tastes off (especially Madri) and toilets are disgusting.

Service was ok, alcohol selection was decent and prices average. The men's toilet seemed to have a movie theme, unfortunately it was "the worst toilet in Scotland" from the movie trainspotting

Everything was average tbh. Especially the food.

Nice big space. Great for watching sports. One of very few places with a dart board (although the location of the board near the toilets isn't ideal). Shuffleboard is a lot of fun and free to use on some weekdays.

Comfy and huge screen for the football. The couple of times I've been in for the early Saturday KO I could easily get a seat but it was for Liverpool games. Don't bother with the pizza slices 🤢 and a pint of cola is £3.90 😬

Enjoyed coming here on a week day for a coffee with my young daughter, nice drinks, quite quiet and easy to maneuver with a pram. Bit tatty, the sofa chairs are stained and ripped and could generally use a bit of a deep clean but think they're going for that sort of rustic feel. There is an auto spray air freshener in the accessible bathroom that made my baby cough and start crying when I was changing her so stopped going, weird reason I know but it happened a few times. I did notice it was quite a suffocating smell for me aswell when stuck in there for a while with her.

The chips (aka fremch fries) are especially fantastic. Has similarity to Heston's! And washes down well with a pint. Service was also good

Four stars as didn’t order any food just had drinks. Lovely place, good vibes, nice bloke serving. Outside seating very cute.

The prices are ridiculous 1 glass of prosecco which they don't do you have to buy a tiny bottle with a pint of lager came to 14.95 I said is that right and the women serving said and that's why we're empty so drank up and moved on into the village

So . Wimbledon semi final and they refuse to put on because some 4 year is watching something else. 4 year old dictating. Absolutely appalling

A fantastic choice of larger, friendly staff and food is amazing I would recommend it for a casual drink, food or sports.

Was not crowded when I visited, despite a large screen display of an important Liverpool match. Charged £5.80p for pint of Guinness ( 45% more than in the Albert Withington )

Great for watching sport and a large range behind the bar. I can't drink at the minute so the non-alcoholic selection was appreciated. The Erdinger is well worth trying.

Great staff and good vibe- chill and friendly. Food is good- burgers nachos etc. Sadly the coffee machine was playing up and so this took a while and the latte was very weak but cappuccino lovely and not the staff's fault at all, just a mechanical issue. Would deffo visit again. (One of the more relaxed places on a Sunday in Dids)

Stopped for a few afternoon drinks the place was very clean the staff was very friendly very chilled atmosphere would definitely go again.
