A great locals bar in Belfast just out of the city centre. Cash only.

Great wee pub on the Shankill. Friendly locals. Fantastic Guinness and they even cater for vegetarians with a great range of crisps and nuts

I was there for a book signing. Author Francis Higgins.(you could die laughing). The bar was simular to me as I once lived around the corner in Greeland st. The bar is steeped in history with pictures of old Belfast. If you read the book it tells alot of these stories

This place is roasting due to Janet lighting a fire in 20 degree heat, clearly has no blood circulation. Trevor the barman looks like Gary glitter when he was younger. That other review from Davy archer is utter bollix. He thought it was grinder. For a better experience in a bar on the shankill go to the Mountain View tavern. Upa shankill

Great super clean wee bar with lovely floor tiles etched windows and carved wood bar. Good cheap pint £3.50 still in September 2021 when others are charging £5 or more!

Great pub, excellent barman, lovely pint of Guinness, Thursday lunchtime, was a bit quiet at first, just us 2 in bar, then couple of regulars came, had a good laugh with them and the barman- football, politics etc, definitely go back if in Belfast again, 10/10 👍

This bar is class as is it's clientele. Staff are friendly & drinks are reasonably priced. Made feel very welcome. Try it for yourself, great wee bar
