Mitsuru in Belfast

The clerk treated us very kindly, but the food was horrible. I find it difficult to make such a bland and tasteless ramen. You can see that all the ingredients are prefabricated, to put it mildly, and the vegetables were fried and set aside (we had said that we didn't want them fried, but I suppose this may be due to the language). Also, we ordered one of the spicy ramen and it was nowhere to be found. Finally, comment that the cutlery is made of wood and that the spoon is not deep, so it is difficult to eat it. The truth is that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is used to eating ramen in quality places or to anyone with efficient taste buds.

As always freshly made and came in great time.

Can not speak highly enough of the food. By the far the nicest sushi I've had. My only critic would be good to see a wee picture of what more items are on the menu (even just the sushi choices 😊)

i ordered salmon sushi from here and there was a big piece of sharp plastic in my sushi. This is absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable. The plastic was hard and sharp, could’ve definitely be fatal if swallowed.

Never had Japanese before due to not liking seafood. However don’t let that stop you. Crispy chili ribs and chicken to die for, the best beef and black bean way better than Chinese and incredible noodles. Wish had this back home

Mum's reintroduction to Japanese food went well, bad experience in 1970s Belfast put her off! Totally converted and the veggie ramen was her favourite

It is not taste.. fried shrimp was cooked very long ago.. It was bad.. than I expected..

Two members of staff told me an item on the menu was vegan, I asked them after I'd begun eating if it had fish in it and they said yes. Please be careful if you have allergies/dietary requirements!

The ginzo ramen was an awful experience; very bland and not resembling a ramen at all... Worst one I ever had. Also the meat was not in the soup but separately served, not like on the picture... At least that had nice taste, like a regulat deep fried pork. Overall very disappointed.

Sushi was pretty good, although it was a bit small but it didn't bother me because it was only a small snack for my energy, and it was £3.

Driver was rude and refused to come up to flat

Sushi was nice and fresh . Prawn tempuras were cold and the batter a bit tough but overall nice . On time delivery .

Fod was lovely only complaint I would have is the rice that came with my meal was crunchy so couldn't eat it

Bento box with a tin of coke was the guts of £12-13 so you wouldn't blame anyone for expecting the food quality to be higher. If you want to try Marble Soda or drinks like that, do it elsewhere. £3 each is a joke. The meal itself was fairly decent and was made very quickly. There was a queue at every other stall in food court today, but not Mitsuru. I wondered why until I tried to order: appauling level of service from the middle aged lady serving. Rude and made absolutely no effort to try and understand what you've asked, or which meal you then had to resort to pointing to on the menu. Couldn't be done with you quickly enough. Interesting behaviour, asking a passer by to come tap the customer when the order was ready instead of just walking 2 steps from behind the till to speak herself. The poor attitude ruined any hard work going on in the kitchen.

Epic as always. Best sushi in town.

At some point mitsuru changed the source of the soy sauce sachets they use? The new ones honestly aren't all that nice compared to the soy that was being used when I first started ordering here. Unsure if it's an attempt to keep costs down and avoid price increases, but it's a shame, because this place does my favourite sushi in the city and it's a shame for good sushi to be married by average soy sauce.

Food was great, good value for money, was delivered 15 mins after I ordered, driver was super polite.

Love this place everything is cooked fresh,the spring rolls are fab.

Awesome as always there's a reason you are the place for the best sushi at home chilling 🍣 while wearing my jinbē I ate it all so quick I wish I ordered more. So fresh I felt like I needed an aquarium to eat it in. The delivery guy was awesome tell that man he's doing great. To everyone at the Mitsuru you are ace. Cheers

Update on 2nd Visit; sushi was definitely not fresh this time. The strongest of fishy smells from my octopus piece. i ate most of the other bits from the 6 item selection but as soon as i brought the octopus one to my mouth i knew right away that something was wrong. I returned the item to the very apologetic man behind the counter but right now i'm extremely nervous about getting ill from the other pieces i've eaten. Avoid ~I'll admit that I had my reservations about food court sushi but I was very wrong. Really solid selection and good value. It tasted fresh and delicious. There's tonnes of other stuff on the menu from yakatori to okonomiyaki that I'll be sure to try. I seen someone get a bento box that looked lovely and good value. But really and truly a hidden gem~

Our second time ordering from here and it was so good again, I might be brave and try something different the next time although Japanese food is a new experience so not really sure what we are actually ordering but it tasted good.

Food was stone cold, when place just opened was given a refund and they continued to serve the cold food

I didn't receive any rip for my chicken and I ordered 2 pepsi Max with my food and received only one 7up sugar free. I informed the river of this and he told me "I not giving you this!" Meaning that he didn't make the order.... I called the store to see if they could send out the drinks I had ordered and they said they could give me different drinks if I would come to the store. If I had wanted to go out I would have just come to the store instead of using just eat to order food to be delivered.

This place is so under rated The Chinese next door had a huge que so I decided to try this place and I was not disappointed They now offer 3 item box for £6 was is great value , I got noodles ,salt n chilli chicken and chicken satay and the food is stunning ,will be my first choice in castle court in future , can’t recommend this place enough

Sushi was brilliant. Chicken teriyaki bento box was excellent. Would drive 6hrs to eat here again Exquisite! Keep up the good work guys. Big ups from Cork!!!!

Usually quite good today the sushi roe didn’t taste right, chicken very gelatinous inside the batter and tuna grey and tasteless. Quite a few things not tasting great

The chicken bento was as dry as it gets with what tastes like a 3 day old left out chicken , everything was dry and stiff.

First time ever to try out this place and would definitely be back the food was so good 😊 took a gamble and it was a win 🥇

Gyoza was very good but all the rest was just just bad.very disappointed ☹️ tempura prawn was the ugliest thing ive ever seen. Coated in tone of breadcrumb grey inside. The worst £47 spend in my life.

Mother of God... If this is best in town that's has to be only sushi in Belfast so. Order was placed through just eat. Egg in ramen overcooked, ramen to sweet, prawn in hand roll was the worst I've ever seen! On menu stated as tempura prown, we've got prawn in breadcrumbs... Well that was breadcrumbs with prown as there was way too much of coating. Prawn inside was grey colour . Avoid this place!

Nice food but absolutely astonishingly expensive for what you get. Tiny portions of rolled rice and it costs as much as sitting in at a decent restaurant. I know everything's expensive now but Jesus Christ, this was ridiculous

Amazing sushi would definitely get again

Excellent - unusual for Belfast takeaways.

First time I’ve ever had an issue with this restaurant. Miso soup was packaged really poorly and leaked all over the other dishes. There was a puddle of miso soup at the bottom of the bag. Luckily most of the food was unaffected due to the lids provided, but still disappointed at the state the in which order arrived in.

This is one of my favourite places to get sushi from, the pricing is decent and the staff are friendly when I come to collect, the food holds up well on the way home :) thanks as always for the food

The best freshest sashimi in Belfast and beyond! The Gyozas are also best I have had anywhere in UK and Ireland. Nicest delivery driver ever too. I live in South Belfast but I'd rather pay for delivery from here as the food is amazeballs and FAR MORE REASONABLY PRICED than anywhere else. Love, love LOVE Mitsuru 🥰

Wouldn't recommend - waited a long time for food to come which to be fair did arrive just about within the time scale given, however food was cold by the time it arrived. Noodles tasted like the plastic container they came in and stirfry sauce had spilled all over the bag. Sushi was warm and flavourless. Very expensive for near inedible food.
