A beautiful building housing the Buxton gin festival this weekend. The acoustics were not so good but did not detract from the beauty of the Devonshire Dome

We all wanted the black forest pudding but the lady told us no we couldn't have it because the chefs didn't want to make it, appalling!

I got taken to the spa for my works do, me and my colleague booked in for a full body exfoliation and massage. We are massage therapist ourselves and we couldn't fault it! Absolutely amazing day, really enjoyed and felt so relaxed leaving.

I booked 2 full spa days for myself and my mother-in-law for her birthday. The spa is amazing and the treatments was just perfect, we wanted to be massaged all day. I booked the spa day at £115 each which included lunch. I have to say for the price we paid the food really wasn't very nice. There was 6 jam jars that had chick peas, cous cous, aubergine in some kind of tomato sauce, a pitta bread cut into fingers, houmous and some sort of spicy chicken, also had a slightly larger jar of perfiteroles, (we honestly thought this could be the starter). We did tell one of the girls and she did bring us some sandwiches which was very good of her. The whole day was perfect, just the food that let it down.

6 of us booked for treatments on our way to a girlie weekend. The staff were all wonderfully friendly and helpful and each one of us enjoyed our treatments and came out wanting more and feeling totally relaxed. The facilities are clean and there is plenty to relax and do. My only issue was the changing room was rather small and when 6 of us were all trying to get changed along with a couple of other guests it was a bit of a squeeze. There was also only one toilet. However if I am in the area again I would definitely consider a visit.

(Trip Advisor I think you might need to amend this from restaurant to include a separate spa version)My husband and I visited the Devonshire Spa at the Dome on a Sunday afternoon. We booked in for two treatments and got to use the facilities. The spa itself is small and perfect if you just need to take 2-3 hours out. It has a wonderfully warm pool which also has jacuzzi jets, aromatherapy room, sauna, steam room and ice blast. We both had treatments. I had a hot stone massage and my husband had a deep tissue massage. Both were very good. We were then offered tea in the relaxation area which was lovely. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend this place as somewhere to go in Buxton if you need some chill out time! I've been to ALOT of seriously expensive spas and this was just as nice as the big 5* experiences.

My daughter and I spent the whole day at the Spa and had a fantastic time. The staff were extremely polite and friendly and the service was superb. The lunch was healthy and delicious, and the all inclusive refreshments just kept on coming. Our treatments were very relaxing. The pool was small as expected; the bonus was that the water was really warm. Would definitely recommend - we will be returning for another relaxing day.

The Devonshire Dome (www.devonshiredome.co.uk) is not just a restaurant (also offering conferencing etc) but it also has a spa (www.devonshiredome.co.uk/devonshire-spa), a well-hidden gem that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Buxton. The atmosphere (music, candles...), the professional therapists (and their treatments/massages), the spa facilities (dry sauna, wet sauna...), the heritage listed-building -- it's all really worth it. (I shall be back in Buxton in 6 months and I have already planned to go to the spa again!)

Amazing little gem of restaurant, with lovely ambience and a nice cozy vibe to it. Service from Justin is great and truly authentic Indonesian dishes are on offer here. Felt like I was transported back to Indonesia the dishes were that good!

We love visiting here. Always have a good time and staff are very friendly. Not very pushchair friendly due to the small setting which can be tricky. Wish there was more food options too. Both these things don't stop us from regular visiting though as it's always good fun :)
