We popped in for a coffee (which was excellent) and were tempted by the crumpets. There are some great snacks and a nice feel to the cafe. We had no time to test the loos! An ideal position just off Brewery Square.

Fab cafe, now taken over and renamed. Fantastic coffee, absolutely the best we have had from any independent cafe in Dorchester (and there are more and more opening!) Pastries are fresh, homemade cakes delicious and the Weymouth crab sandwiches (although not cheap, but fresh daily!) are well worth trying and would rival anywhere I have had in other resorts in the South West. A gem amongst a tirade of lacklustre establishments alongside the normal chain names. A joy to visit. Thank you. We will definitely return.

Visited the Deli in Dorchester a couple of times as these were the owners of Joneses in Sandown IOW and were very inviting there, i called in to say hello and received a warm welcome a great place to eat on the brewery site fantastic salads quiches savouries & cake and the coffee ( Paddy and Scott ) is second to none. This place is completely different to their previous venture and even have celebs visiting. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed

Used to love coming here for interesting lunches and great coffee. After being abroad for a few months was so shocked to find new owners. But despite bog standard lacklustre menu gave it ago. Food was uninspiring and coffee not great. If you think Morrison’s or Weatherspoons are good you will like this.

We have just moved to Dorchester and were walking passed this lovely little cafe, stopped looked at the menu and decided it was lunchtime. It is light and airy inside but we were lucky enough to get a table outside. My partner and I were quickly persuaded by the crab sandwiches and they were DELICIOUS!! Also came with a green side salad, slaw and a salad of your choice i.e.quinoa, tabbouleh, really very good. Unfortunately we were both too full to have any cake, so we will save that for another day. Very pleased that we tried this cafe on our first day here as it will no doubt become a firm favourite. We understand that the couple who now own it moved here themselves 6 weeks ago and I wish them every success!

This Deli is just out of the way of the main high street and I discovered it by accident after missing my turn off to the shops- it was obviously meant to be 😊 I consider myself a bit of a food snob (and others would probably extend the word snob to describe other parts of my character!) I know what I like but that means I don’t often find it when I travel to places I don’t know. However, the deli kitchen was there waiting for us. Vegan, healthy, gluten free along with sumptuous sausage rolls were on offer. Lots of choice for a fuss pot like me. Lovely staff and a very nice time had by all. 👍🏻

I was passing through Dorchester and stopped on an impulse. I was made very welcome and given such a good, smooth cup of coffee I decided to stay for lunch! There was a really good choice of sandwiches, all fresh ingredients, and I can highly recommend the salt beef. This is a really nice, clean modern establishment with a relaxed, homely feel and in a great location. Why go anywhere else!

I’m on holiday but worked in Dorchester some years ago and I wish this place had been around then. Walked in for a coffee and homemade cake and greeted with a very warm smiley welcome. Excellent Tea & Cake but the best coffee I’ve had in a long time and I’m a real coffee snob. We had Dorset Apple Cake and carrot cake both homemade, moist and full of flavour. The tea and coffee were so good we had seconds. How lucky the Dorchester people are to have Tracy and Keith with their vast knowledge of the food and beverage industry supplying them with fantastic goodies. We visit Dorset regularly and will be back as often as we can. Thank you to you and your staff for making us and the dog feel so welcome.

Well where do I start, clean, friendly, amazing food. By far the best deli I've been in to for a while. The new owners know what they are talking about when it comes to coffee and good food. Homemade sausage rolls are to die for really good with some salad . The coffee is strong and actually tastes of something unlike some other coffee chains. Cannot praise this place enough. Definitely worth a visit, this place is a little gem.

The new owners rave about there new coffee. I have tried it twice its not good so either they revert to Finca coffee or you will find me at Finca's.

With reference to the previous comment about this place, firstly we’re disappointed to hear that you think things have gone down hill at our new deli. Baring in mind we have been open 3 days, are still finding our feet to an extent and are aiming to provide the best service possible. Sadly, things change! It would be extremely narrow minded of us to take over a business and not bother trying to make changes and improvements where we deem fit.

Having been every week this year we were so sad to see the cafe had been taken over and the standard had dropped significantly. The bread is nowhere near as good and the coleslaw was tasteless, barely any cheese used in the cheese sandwich and it’s just not as warm and inviting as it was when the previous overs had it. We’re gutted this little gem has lost its shine.

This is THE BEST cafe in the area. Everything is fresh. The food is absolutely delicious. There are so many distinct flavours in everything I've tried there. And the staff are friendly and treat you like an old friend. Cannot recommend this place high enough!!

We stopped in Dorchester during the day which is rare. Saw this little place across the road and ear marked it. Later on ventured in. Exactly what we needed, a healthy and fresh tasting lunch. The salad selection was delicious...i want the recipes. Homemade hummus, buckwheat, quinoa, homemade sales an potato salads all uniquely flavoured but when paired together just worked. just excellent, will definitely return!!

We happened upon the Deli Kitchen when skating at Brewery Square. An amazing selection of freshly cooked food available. The spicy parsnip soup was delicious. The toasted sandwiches and deli sandwich were incredibly fresh. A side salad selection was interesting and tasty. Staff friendly and a relaxed environment. A little bit of room for a salted caramel brownie which was eaten in about a nano second!!

A few mums and I went for coffee just last week and we not only had coffee but there were some very healthy options available too. Avocado toast and a smoothie bowl. The cakes looked good and one of us tried the vegan chocolate cake which was delicious. I have since been back and had a homemade soup which was also great.

A fabulous way to start the day, as... even though it wasn't Rachel... the lady sitting in for an out-of-season stint was magnificent, and could not have been more accommodating, and... the food was first-rate too! We would have done 3 mornings in a row, but - alas - we were too early on the Sunday, so had to slum it elsewhere!
