The Dane Bank has a fantastic live band jam session, open mic and sing with a band session every Friday from 9pm. All welcome to perform a live set or come over to watch and support this event.

The service is so slow serving drinks

Very nice pub and loads of outside area when it's nice! Food is amazing here and really well priced, hats off to the chef! When we went, there were a party on so it was very busy but the limited staff coped really well and made sure the drinks were flowing. Well recommended and we love it!

Always liked it here for drinks and its impressive beer garden space, but it's the first time I've had their food. Would highly recommend. Very reasonably priced and cut above usual pub grub affair. Generous portions and cooked with real care. Will definitely be dining here a lot more

The food is beautiful😮‍💨there’s a kids play area outside with swings and stuff and the beer garden is an enclosed space so no fear of them running off when your back is turned😂too good for denton but i’m so glad it’s here!

An absolutely brilliant pub, quiz night Tuesdays and Thursdays with great live music Friday and Saturdays. We love our family local, full of great people up for a laugh and a dance. If you want homemade food and great vibes across from an open fire or in the summer a fabulous MASSIVE beer garden full of sunshine DaneBank is where it is at! 🙌👌🥂☀️

not every negative review is ‘malicious’ and every venue is open to criticism. i personally wouldn’t recommend due to an experience that leaves me feeling this isn’t an entirely welcoming space, and how the management seem to deal with complaints or issues when they come up. Edited to add: How would you know who i am or am not friends with without stalking me on some social media not connected to this account, regardless, you also can not claim to know every single person who has walked through your doors, clearly. Let people have opinions, criticism is important for businesses to grow or learn, i do not leave fake or unwarranted reviews.

What a lovely pub, great food, lovely bar staff so welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent and live music too, had a brilliant evening.

Lovely looking food that you can't taste as a load of regular punters sit vaping. Couldn't taste anything but watermelon vape. Shocking. Don't bother or go to McDonald's.

Honestly, this place is hidden gem. My partner & I attended the open mic night and it was bloody brilliant, we had ab absolute scream. The atmosphere was spot on and the food was really decent too! 100% will be coming back. 🏳️‍🌈🎵🍗🍹

Regularly attend the danebank pub, often bringing friends along from out of area. Lovely family ran pub, great experience whether you're going in for food, open mic nights, quiz nights or band nights. Always welcoming and friendly experience from staff.

Wonderful pub and staff. The food is all homemade and really tasty. They have live bands on practically every weekend and it always has a brilliant atmosphere. I'd recommend this pub to any friend or family member.

The service here was extremely poor, double standards and intentionally treating certain guests worse than others, the food was questionable at best and I believe a certain level of professionalism is necessary in handling an establishment like this that clearly isn't present.

Saw the landlady SMOKING WEED and drunk on shift! Absolutely appalled I’ll never come back.

Toilets are disgusting, floors absolutely stink of urine and I’ve seen the staff and landlady intoxicated on shift. What a dive.

Been today....took 35 minutes queuing up to get a couple of pints.You have known for months it was a bank holiday and days that it would be sunny.....Please don't spoil all your good work for the sake of a little overtime for a couple of extra staff...the extra sales would have more than covered it. Excellent! Party of six of us just had a fantastic meal. Friendly efficient service. Meals that were well above the standard necessary for a pub meal. Definitely heading towards being a really really good gastro pub. Will be heading there next Sunday for a lunch.

Called in for a quick lunch. Food OK but nothing special, expensive for a bought in cheese and onion pie, at £10.95 would expect home made

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch, vegetarian, I was informed it would take a little longer as they would do the roast potatoes. I was very impressed. Warm & friendly, homemade food, delicious deserts. Dog friendly. Really great experience. Can’t wait to return ❤️❤️❤️

Food not as good as it used to be good selection of beers

We only went to this pub because we had been let down at our planned place. We were so glad. The staff were welcoming and friendly whilst maintaining efficient service. We were served hearty pub grub at very reasonable prices. Hats off.

Great food, you might have to wait a little bit .. but if you want decent food and home cooked chips (rather than oven chips) then you will enjoy.

It's my local but not in there every week . Not had the food but always looks nice when others have ordered . Always something going on in there and Friday nights open mic night is very good but don't take my word for it , get in there and try it yourselves , 😉

Fantastic venue customers really nice and staff were fantastic.

The food here is gorgeous. Home made style instead of the usual 'mass produced'. Chips were fantastic. Meals were good size and value for money. Large choice. Of drinks and not over priced Staff are very accommodating. Inside and outside area . Very pleasant evening.

My 1st visit to the dane bank and it was a lovely experience....very busy but the staff had it all handled..definitely would visit again. Made my reunion with my daughter after 15 yrs that little bit extra special ❤

Had the to die for steak pudding and chips with gravy, desert apple crumble and ice cream, everything was great except for a table near us who were very loud and were swearing being quite explicit with their language, after they left peace returned

A summery Monday lunch and we popped in to grab a bite to eat. Staff were very nice, lots of choice to order from the menu and beer was spot on too! Garden had good shade and was well kept. A great local pub with lots to offer.

Had lamb dinner was a 9/10 lamb mash carrots cauliflower with cheese green beans roasties lots of gravy and parsnips would deffo recommend chips are very very nice too

Got there a couple mins after kitchen closed. I wasn't aware of the time it closed. They still took a food order, which I was extremely grateful for. The food was delicious and they also accommodated my dietary restrictions.

Nice pub with huge outside area for kids! Unfortunately we were there for a funeral but the staff were very friendly!

Went for food and a few drinks. The drinks were good, the food was excellent. 3 of us had the 10oz burger with chips and side salad. The service was v good 👍 We will definitely visit again, and would recommend.

Bar staff are lovely However the chef is rude and arrogant . I took my mum for Sunday dinner it wasn't nice at all mash was lump carrot and swede mash had full chucks of carrot , the lamb was so chewy my mum couldn't chew it , the only nice thing was the Yorkshire pudding and when I told staff they got the chef who was very rude telling me nothing wrong with it even though we had only eaten mouth fulls of bits of it . I paid for the food I wasn't trying not to pay however I would never go back if I could give no stars I would but the one I gave is for the nice bar ladies

I changed from my usual (Lasagne = the Holy grail) reluctantly to try the Korean bbq chicken and egg fried rice from the specials menu. And I was not disappointed. It was delicious!! Hopefully it will be on the specials frequently! X

Really pleasant atmosphere no rowdy kids even though there were plenty of youngsters in. Great live entertainment on until late. All in all a very good night out.

To say this pub was lovely and pleasant experience would be an understatement! After a beautiful walk in the nearby Reddish Vale nature park, this pub offered delicious food and some lovely pints too, all with warm and wonderful customer service. The playlist is spot on too !

Very nice pub, friendly staff, good quiz on Tuesday night. Only problem is the drinks are more expensive than a lot of the pubs in Denton ( same for most Robinsons pubs)

It's a Robinson pub, it's local and it has a huge beer garden with a small climbing frame and 1 swing set. Not much else to say hah. It's food is quality but it's lunch and dinner only at set times. Beer is always bang on. Decor it nice but the only thing lacking is the beer garden, it's so big and yet feels so under used but failing that it really is a nice place for a beer. Can get busy though on the obv days.

We visited Fri 22nd July for Open mic night, As a new band we have never performed anywhere, they made us feel very welcome and the whole experience was fantastic. A big thanks to everyone there and the staff, we will be back. (Nevermore)

We went to the pub because I had never eaten there before. I was not disappointed and neither were my family members. If you are big eater, I would definitely recommend the Tapas...oh my days, you get alot for your money! Love the place
