The Daily Grind: Artisan Coffee in Islington

The best coffee I have had since being back in England and I’ve been living off great coffee in Greece!! Thank you for the pleasant welcome I haven’t stopped thinking about it. Wish I lived closer!! Keep doing what you doing. Also love the dog biscuits!!!

Excellent coffee which is hard to find in London. Also friendly. Fresh beans made well. Had some flat whites there and will go out of my way to get my coffee from there rather than continually being disappointed elsewhere.

This lovely man serves the best coffee in highbury - forget the chi chi coffee shops - grab yourself a great coffee and find a park bench, enjoy the tennis, personal training and everything else happening in this gorgeous area of London.

In his little tent he produces gourmet coffee and a lively atmosphere. It's become a coffee club to dog walkers joggers parents and anyone else who fancies great coffee hot bacon rolls and a great chat. We meet up there sit around and it's improved Highbury fields hugely. Friendly lively great coffee and such a friendly atmosphere. It's a joy to hang out there and my dog adores it.

Really tasty coffee and friendly owner. No where to sit inside but wonderful for a coffee to enjoy while relaxing in Highbury Fields or walking to the station. Highly recommend!

Have visited half a dozen times over the last few weeks. Every time the coffee has been really really good. Was always frustrated that it was tricky to get a decent coffee in Highbury, but The Daily Grind has filled that gap. The proprietor is friendly chap and is clearly passionate about his craft (beans are from Climpson and Sons). There's also a selection of pastries available and also fresh teas.
