We were really disappointed unfortunately - tried somewhere new for a change and wish we’d ordered from our usual. We had butter chicken which was full of bones and gristle and tikka masala - both tasted the same and full of cloves . Really sickly and couldn’t eat it.

Couple of days back i tried Kappa Biriyani from Curry Hut, which’s takes me to the older memorises, where we had the same from native. I would recommend to all to have this once and experience the same. Worth of money and one of the must try item.

I ordered kappa biriyani and bdf through uber eats. Am very disappointed the worse kappa biriyani i ever had in my life. And come to BDF there is no flavour and no masala tatste. I waste my money very unhappy and disappointed.

Tried alfaham Mandi, chicken & Beef biriyani. Alfaham Mandi is too spicy to eat. The beef in beef biriyani was a bit hard to eat as well. However chicken biryani sound !! If you are ordering alfaham Mandi and beef biriyani then ask the chefs to cook properly and reduce the spice levels.

We ordered manthi and mutton biryani, and the food was absolutely delicious! However, we were a bit disappointed with the mutton pieces; there were four pieces in total, but only one small piece had much meat on it, while the others were mostly bones with very little meat. Despite this, the overall taste was fantastic, and we enjoyed the meal.

Best malayali restaurants in Nottingham. I have been to almost all the south and North Indian restaurant in Nottingham and almost all of them just don't taste good or they don't have enough quantity for the price ( Mostly all are very expensive) but to my surprise the food here is delicious and the quantity is more than enough for a person and value for money. I tried there bucket biryani and alfaham (it was ok) and tastes very good compared to other restaurants.( I liked the biryani more because it was well cooked and actually had chicken pieces to satisfy a person 😁😁). If you guys are in Nottingham and looking for authentic malayali food make sure to check this restaurant out.

Have also tried the special pothi biriyani, porotta beef, and kizhi porotta. All the dishes were equally good and tasty. This is my go to place for kerala place and have been visiting this place multiple times. Only drawback is the limited seating capacity.

Nice enough staff but despite being told portions are big, I got home to find out 3 small pieces of chicken and taste was just bland. Suppose to be thick gravy and spicy with chicken on bone. Waited 30mins for the food and got home to be disappointed. Prices not cheap either. Gave them a try but will not be returning.

Using Uber eats, We randomly ordered some south indian (kerala) dishes including Beef dry fry, Beef kizhi porotta, kapa biriyani (tapioca/ cassava beef biriyani), Kerala porotta. It was beyond expectation. Everything was soo good and will definitely order again and will recommend to my friends and others. Authentic south indian taste with excellent flavours. For those who miss the tasty south indian foods, this is the place.

Cuppa Biryani was very 👍🏻 Nice. That's it! I took the Lamb Biryani bucket which was awful, the lamb pieces were too hard like rubber to chew (even rubber would be soft), when complained about it, the manager was not ready to accept it on the call or maybe didn't speak or understood English. I had to drive back from home carrying their bucket lamb biryani and the chef there tasted it and said it was OK...I smiled and thought WoW...they like eating meat which is not cooked well. The other manager available was kind and understood my issue and agreed to refund my money or give another food item of the same amount. So I took the Chicken biryani bucket...went home took it in a plate to eat and couldn't eat much...it was that bad. Again the chicken was not tender and too hard to chew. The taste of the Biryani was pathetic. I have eaten the Kerala style Biryani and it tastes really good but this was a disaster and totally wasted my time and money. I mean they really need to change their Chef and start accepting feedback if they want to grow their business.

I went there for delivery pickup and that was the worst ever experience i had. They said 5 min wait and actually took 35 minutes to get the food. Even they was not busy there was no collection order or any other delivery order. I've decided not to go there ever. They are the worst place to pickup deliveries.

Amazing service from the owners! They were very welcoming and gave me a good variety of recommendations. The shop is very well looked after. And the best thing is that the food tastes absolutely lovely, it was soooo good and filled me up with a good amount of left over for tomorrow, and not to forget the very fair prices these days.
