This is such a lovely bakery and we feel so lucky to have such an original artisnal place right on our doorstep. There is a wonderful range of loaves and batons available, which are baked perfectly. Their olive studded ciabatta is amazing! Our tradition is to nip out early on a Saturday to get pastries for our breakfast (back home and in bed with a pot of tea haha!). Danish crowns, croissants, cinnamon rolls! We have also sat in on occasions and enjoyed a hot Polish or English breakfast. The atmosphere is relaxing and has a vintage feel. The bakers and staff are kind and interesting to speak to. I look forward to hearing what recipes they are testing out in the back each week. They've now started making pierogis, which I can't wait to try!

This gorgeous bakery on the main road in Stacksteads, Bacup is a wonder of Polish breads, cakes, breakfasts, lunches, and friendly chats. I try to call in once a week and try something new. The range of loaves is great, with most being Sourdough, but some are golden, wholemeal, a mix of both, and other ingredients. There's also the normal tin loaves, plaits, fabulously soft baps, and breakfast croissants, etc on show. The cakes are very nice, some being passed down from Polish Grand-parents. Breakfasts and lunches are served to eat in at the small eating area or to take away. They've recently added Calzones, but be prepared to wait 20 minutes while it is freshly cooked - or call ahead and order. The couple who run this are such lovely friendly people, with a passion to bake the very best their home nation has to offer.

We've been three times and it's just sublime. The food is as good as you'll find anywhere in the country but with a difference. Steven and his Dad bring a warmth to the experience matched only by the heart evident in each course. We love this place and you will too.

Disappointing and overpriced. Asked for a specific hamper to be put together and, despite many messages, wasn’t told what it would contain. Until it arrived I had no idea what was in it. Was let down on picking up from Tre Ciccio so it was delivered by a member of staff to my house. and I had to pay for it there and then, as he was just the messenger. I expressed my disappointment and dissatisfactionti ‘The Stinky Chef’ with no real attention to customer service or satisfaction. Luckily we had items we had already purchased that we could use to complete the hamper and make it gift worthy. Do not recommend
