The first impression from the pub is fantastic, very clean and tidy great food and fantastic beer choice.Very happy staff

Me and my partner visited the Crows Nest Nuneaton and both ordered a starter and a burger meal for main, with both a vodka and coke and a pint of Pepsi Max our total came to around £45 which is pretty reasonable for a two course meal. The outside is misleading, and has seemingly had some work done to it but the inside is dated and mismatched. Upon entry, we noticed a lack of host stand and so self sat ourselves despite having a booking. I alerted the bar staff off our booking when placing our food order but he seemed unbothered. My main issue with this establishment was the customer service, neither the waitress who brought us our food or the bar staff seemed at all friendly or chatty and it was hard to brush off the feeling of being unwanted in their pub, especially amongst the other patrons drinking and eating at the same time as us. Our starters and mains were bought out at the same time, despite making it clear to the bar tender that i did in fact want the starters as starters, the food quality was good and did come quickly and hot. The burgers were both good, a little generic but for the price they were tasty and the chips were good. We were both a little perplexed as it seemed to us that our food was served in ceramic dog bowls but was good nonetheless. Sauces and cutlery are self serve and there are a good selection of sauces on offer but no additional sauces were offered to us and no check back was provided by staff after we received our food. Whilst I understand the ‘bar service’ as previously mentioned in other replies to reviews, I did go back up to the bar to collect waters and was not asked about my food then either. Overall, it seems like a good pub if you’re a regular or known but not the kind of place to go for a one off meal or drink.

We arrived at 6.15 for our 6.30 booking walked around the bar to the seating area,there was no host to great so went to bar to try get someone’s attention bar man looked at us and continued to serve drinks totally ignoring us then another bar man walked out again totally ignoring us I then had to but in and ask for our table that we booked it was then someone else came out of the kitchen and told us we where on booth 5 we made our own way to the table and noticed the 2 booths on either side had dirty plates still on them from previous occupants not impressed we sat down looked at menus we had two kids with us and no kids menus on the table we waited for someone to take a order as no instruction to order at bar or table service having waited 10 mins we decided to leave and go elsewhere. This is not an experience I expected from this place

On a hike I stopped there for draft beer and tried "Fish & Ships". Everything tasted good and I was satisfied. And all at a reasonable price. I can recommend the place and will visit it again when I'm in the area. I am a tourist from Germany. Reinhold

Very nice food, had a lovely meal with my family lots to cater to all that we want, all came out quickly and service was brilliant.

Vegan and vegetarian options very good. I went with the Thai curry that the staff recommended and it was very tasty. Staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions you have. 2 large beer garden with plenty of seating I will definitely be going again 👌🏼👌🏼

This place feels very pub like. It was dark and had a cold feel to it. My food was soooo flavourless and the sauces were hard. It was honestly one of the worst pub meals that I’ve ever eaten. I had sausage and mash. It was like eating hot water. My daughter’s chicken burger was hard and she could barely bite it. Won’t be visit again.

Pretty sure my grandchildren’s children will still drink in this place when I’m long gone if things keep going the way we are xx

Could not be more helpful despite the late booking for Sunday lunch, ourselves and our Dachshund were made to feel welcome and there was a good selection of beers available. The food arrived very quickly and was great so we will be making sure we return as soon as we can.

Food is fresh and tasty. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend for families as I had a baby with me.

Excellent food and service. Everything hot. 1 of our party had hunters chicken and cheese gives her migraines but it was no trouble for them to leave the cheese off, she said the meal was lovely even without cheese. The remaining 3 of us had lasagne and it was delicious along with the Malbec and glass of Pinot.

Beer was cold and fizzy, which was good. I sat out in the garden in the sunshine which was nice no complaints. Bar staff seemed friendly and efficient.

1st time here and the food and service were both excellent.

Another flawless Friday afternoon meal, Salt and pepper chicken is a must try.. The Staff make this place, a real credit with excellent speedy service, and good fresh food!! it’s the whole reason we keep going back, and with 30% off the mains feeding four people for £44!! including soft drinks.. Always love this place, doesn't matter when I go, it's brilliant. I would recommend the quiz night on Thursdays, it's good fun. The staff are brilliant too.

Hit and miss on the level of service, food value for money. Some staff can be stroppy at times.

The one young girl was really lovely and welcoming.The other that brought us our food was lovely too.The other two people that took for our food and desserts and drinks wasn’t that nice like their attitude was not good and working in a place where you need to be I’m sorry but ruined the experience.As all the food was brilliant value and delicious.From starters to mains and desserts they were good portions and cooked well all of us throughly enjoyed it all and there were 8 of us .

Excellent food - a bit too much for me,as I've a small appetite, but hot and well-cooked. I wish you di small plates,then I'd have had room for a dessert! No hanging around ,we were a bit short of time and hungry! The table we were given wasnt suitable as people going outside to smoke and kept opening the door. But Joe I think his name was let us move and really appreciate that. He was so very kind.

Came in with 2 friends on our lunch break, 2had the cheeseburger, to say the look on our faces when we bit in was ‘WOW’ the other friend had lasagna (as always) missed out there I’m afraid!!! That was the best cheeseburger I think I had ever had!! Beats anywhere else hands down, trying sort family go for a meal now?!! Quick service, the man taking order was lovely when my friend and I had forgotten table number he knew what it was with us pointing out, I can say that I’ve not been there in decades but the chefs they have makes me want to go again and again Thank you Crows Nest x

Really Friendly atmosphere, family friendly pub which happens to do really tasty homely food at a great price. They play a lot of different sports on the many TVs around the sitting area and the staff are very accomadating to different sporting tastes.

Come here regular nowadays , ash behind the bar is a top bloke. Beers always good and the Carlsberg is more than a fair price.

We went for the Thursday steak deal. Order a steak & you get a free drink. If you order a sirloin steak you have to pay extra. There is no where in the pub that tells you this. It does say on their website. I don't have a problem with this, but do think they should make this very clear in the pub. Had an nice lunch. Pub definitely needs refurbishing. Very shabby. Staff was efficient & friendly.

My family treated me to lunch at the 'Crow's Nest'. The staff were very efficient and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend a visit. I loved it and will definitely go again from Wendy.

First visit and on a late Friday afternoon (19th January). This is a large open plan pub and I arrived to find it fairly busy with some people eating and some just drinking and chatting. Pleasant surroundings with a pleasant social atmosphere. Ordered a drink and food at the bar. A couple of minutes after sitting down, the barman who had taken my order came to my table very politely apologising for the fact that they only had enough of my main meal for a lunch portion but I opted to order something else instead. My starter of soup arrived, piping hot, within fifteen minutes. Within about ten minutes of finishing that, a young lady collected my plates. A further ten minutes or so later, my vegetable curry arrived, again piping hot. Food was fine and well presented. What stood out for me, however, was the attentiveness and efficiency of the front of house staff, something which clearly extended to those in the kitchen. As I said, on my way out, to the young lady who had served me, "Good job, you". If first impressions are anything to go by, and as far as "food pubs" are concerned, this one seemed to be very well run which would probably provide at least one reason for its apparent popularity. Oh, and one other feature, in addition to some large screen TVs and a feature that I had not seen anywhere else, were some single table alcoves with their own small TVs set into the wall. Some visitors, of course, might prefer to leave TVs at home if eating out but, hey, you can't please everybody!

Ash was a really lovely guy behind the bar. And top dollar!

Food was great, staff was friendly but think it would of been better if a pre food check was done 10 mins with having the meal. Also make sure the menu right and the food is correct. Missed items and one meal was slightly longer than the rest. Apart from that the atmosphere and general feel of the pub was great. Thanks to all the staff that made the evening special. Again also where we was seated was great and close to where we parked due to disabilitie within the group.

ash served me , what an absolute credit to the crows!

Popped in last week for a catch up with friends and was almost instantly greeted by a staff member on the bar who I believe to be called Ash. His service that afternoon was fast , friendly and very professional. Because of the service I received I will be making this pub my regular place to go for a drink or a meal. Finally to top it off they serve Cruzcampo!!!

Been a few times, the food is generally good however I tried a burger for the first time today and I could tell it wasn’t fresh meat almost immediately with it’s incredibly dense and rubbery texture.

Been here a number of times and no complaints about the food or service, sometimes a bit noisy but overall all, highly recommend the food and prices. Nice friendly staff always there to assist. Looking forward to our next meal there.

Mega mixed grill. £18.50 totally stuffed tasty. You can't order and pay online like menus saying scan this qr code which takes you to a page saying no online ordering services are available. So it's the old fashion way go to the bar order and pay. Didn't have to wait too long for the food. Enjoyed it. All the Gammon steak is about £9.95 reasonable good value and quality. Plenty of parking. Dogs are allowed into the pub only one section they not allowed in and its clearly marked. However In the no dogs section someone had a great dane in there. Makes no sense. But anyway. There are a few booths dotted about with tvs in. Massive telly you can see from space ON THE Ceiling. I would come back.

Took advantage of some vouchers that had been posted through the door to get 30% off the main course of a meal. One mixed grill and one 8oz sirloin both with peppercorn sauce. Apart from the steak being over cooked so therefore a bit tough it was a nice meal, good size portions and good value. Would definitely go again as several other things on the menu I'd like to try.
