Love the cheesy chips!!!! The price of drinks I find acceptable or I wouldn’t keep coming back. Friendly staff and always welcoming.

Really pathetic owners have bad feedback from day one om four in a bed then to pull out after they read their comments from guest they criticised all 3 places They stayed and couldn’t handle the same feedback to them childish behaviour their place was dirty anyways and noisy

Delusional owners. Atrocious on Four in a Bed, complained about every micro detail and then their dump of a place didn’t measure, they threw their toys out of the pram.

Visited with friends as they was staying for 2 nights up in the rooms, very nice friendly pub Sunday we all had a delicious carvery which was lush 🥰🥰 Highly recommended Dean who owns it even let two of us & a baby upstairs to visit our friends which was really nice of him to let us spend time with them in there room really appreciate it 🩷

We enjoy a carvery but at the crown inn at heanor on a Wednesday the carvery is only £5.00 as long as you buy a drink hot or cold drink at the time of pay excellent value for money plenty choice of veg roast pots yorkies etc this

We booked our Christmas lunch for the family absolutely amazing food. Staff were attentive to our needs, the whole atmosphere was like being at home with an extra large extended family. Would 💯 % book again Highly recommended Thank you xxx

Best local breakfast by far. Piping hot breakfast buffet with everything you would expect and more. Delicious coffee and a warm welcoming atmosphere.

Do not stay in this place if you want a good nights sleep as it’s next to a very busy road we didn’t get any sleep at all. The breakfast was rubbish as well 1/10.

Stayed overnight and had a wonderful stay. Bedroom was clean, bed was comfortable and we loved the big fluffy towels. Perfect for a night's rest.. Had great fun joining in with all the quiz games. Lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

We tried the curry night on Tues, was really nice 😋 One vegan and one chicken, inc rice, nann a drink, all sorts of extras available too for bit more, proper bargain and very accommodating, will def be back xx

Stayed for the night for the second time. Didn’t disappoint at all! Always absolutely spotless rooms, really looked after by all the staff. Pleasant atmosphere too. Highly recommended

Like the pub Freindly welcoming landlord great cheap beer . Old school boozer. Odd weekend entertainment wish there was more of a menu tho then would eat there regular . One of my favourite pubs in heanor. The guy behind the bar looks like rio Ferdinand nice chap .

Not eaten here but can confirm that the welcome and the choice & quality of the beers were first class. The dining room was crowded at Sunday lunchtime which is always a good sign!

We went for a curry and wanted to go to a pub afterwards in Heanor. Everywhere was shut but this place, was on a Thursday. Standard pub

I was staying overnight to see a band nearby. I arrived to a friendly greeting both from the owner and the pub dog! My room was the single room so smaller than some I'd stayed in but was comfortable and clean and cheaper than many others too. After leaving my luggage in the room I went downstairs for a pint - this is not a hotel with a bar, it is a proper pub with proper customers and friendly chatty atmosphere. I live in a quiet close so was a bit concerned about how I'd sleep due to passing traffic but the double glazing was incredibly sound proof. I like independent places due to the character, this place had signed pictures of the Nottingham forest European cup winning team from '79 & '80. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order (£5.95 extra) but double toast, sausage, bacon and egg with mushrooms, tomatoes and beans. So a great start to the day. Better than home from home as the staff and regulars are all friendly and you don't need to wash up after breakfast. I'd definitely return.
