Great vibe every week and the place is only getting better, there is always something new happening!

Sound place with good atmosphere and excellent bar staff

Come here when I can, nice friendly atmosphere Good staff well priced. Have entertainment on most weekends and always a good time had by all. Unlike a few local pubs you always feel comfortable with the way the locals treat you very welcoming and good value. Kind regards Tony Powell

Visited the crown on boxing day after hearing there was a good band playing. Got to say wasn't disappointed.....Band called No Way Out proper smashed it...Great atmosphere place was clean and fresh and the staff couldn't be more helpful....Will definitely return....

This is probably the most unpleasant , filthy and rude pubs I have ever visited. We found ourselves in Ashsby and popped in for a drink early evening thinking it a traditional pub, the chap behind the bar was rude and surly , the public bar was dirty and the men’s toilets swimming in urine. I cannot think of any good points and advise against a visit.

When i was there,a ska/reggae act was on SKABURSTuk,,it was a great night,prices not bad,small dancefloor,bar service was quick,,goodnight was had by all

Still the best pub in Ashby and has been for a few years now. A traditional bar where everyone has a laugh with a pool table and a dart board. Live music on a weekend in the lounge side, always free entry with fair prices and a good pint

I have been going to this establishment for over 50 years not regularly, but, although it has had numerous landlords /ladies it is a nice cosy establishment, it has just been refurbished and looks brilliant, give it a try.

Hospitality and service is excellent

Friendly staff & customers. Went in there on my own on a walk home from town. Ended up playing pool & chatting with the locals. Great finish to the night

Excellent, friendly atmosphere. Bar staff happy to oblige and quick to serve, always a friendly bunch. The recent refurb has improved the environment, although a bit disappointing that the curtains in the lounge were not replaced!

Went meet some friends that had been visiting it recently. Turned out to be a great night with a great atmosphere. Fun and friendly bar staff with a sizeable beer garden too. Will definitely be returning

Class pub, clean and recently refurbished bar and lounge and a great beer garden. Quality entertainment and friendly staff. Usually where you’ll find me on a Saturday night.

Went in with friends and family, ended up staying all night! You’d be hard pressed to find a better pub, clearly the best beer garden in the area too!

Just moved to the area, popped in for a pint. Lots of seats out back, some covered. Good covid controls and friendly staff. Looks like a proper traditional boozer.

We gave a friend a surprise birthday party there, the staff were very helpful, and the separate dance floor being up a few steps at the back of the room allowed those non-dances to watch, sing along and chair dance. Mixed group of all ages, great music and company makes a great night.

Unwelcoming. Toilets horrid. All the door handles sticky. Dont think I will go back.

I visited the Crown in Ashby and was really happy with the great atmosphere, good music and true pub drinking characters. Shooting pool, friendly banter, good cheap beer.

Not upto my standards food was nice but wouldn't go again was very dissapointed with the place itself I traveled an hour an a half to go here so wasn't happy and then was over charged!

Had an amazing lunch today food was top notch and the staff were very friendy will definitely be going here again.. would recommend this place to anyone.

Very good carvery, plenty of choice on the vegetables nice roast potatoes definitely one not to be missed

Called in for a Sunday Dinner on a recommendation and we was not disappointed it was lovely.

Great food, beef always cooked well as part of the carvery. Nice family meal, reasonably priced and tasty

Excellent food and staff, atmosphere was brilliant, all food on the carvery ias hot but the hottest thing in my eyes is the head chef... She is gorgeous! Fact! 😍

Just had a Sunday carvery it was delicious. All fresh vegetables not frozen. Will definitely be going back recommend well done Sally and all the staff.
