Excellent food and service at a good price. This unassuming cafe has no pretentions and is generous in hospitality and food servings. They even put our coffees in take away cups for us with no fuss when we could not finish the coffee.

The food was disgusting do not have the roast beef it is like shoe leather when you complain you just get ignored there is no service. Only go here if you want to spend the rest of the day on the toilet. And by the way it's soup not soap.

Great place and very reasonable

The Breakfast is always well made, everything cooked to perfection. They welcome you with a smile and service is always with care. We have been to this place many times and their standards are well maintained. Good coffee too.

I recently visited London (I'm from Manchester/Leeds) and myself and my partner stopped for a quick bite before we got on the Tube. I cannot stress enough how good this Cafe is. We ordered 2x BLT and a cup of Tea to go. The BLT was the best I have ever tasted. Crusty roll buttered/spread very well, Bacon cooked perfectly, fresh lettuce, tomato and mayo. All very high quality ingredients. Nice paper bag and tissues included. Tea brewed well. Accept cash and card. Price was very reasonable (I was shocked as most things in London/these days are overpriced). And it was the best quality food we had in London, and we went to Empire Casino in Leicester Square and an Indonesian Restaurant on Shaftesbury Avenue. I look forward to returning and trying a full breakfast or a full meal. Simply superb.

Was disappointed that my fried egg didn't have a soft yolk! Was overcooked and hard yolk! And tomatoes arrived with burnt bits. Would have preferred if bacon was grilled and not fried but otherwise was okay breakfast. Pleasant people. Good price.

Great greasy spoon. Staff were really friendly. Food was great and very reasonably priced. It is a traditional english greasy spoon cafe. Youll get full english fried breakfast and other similar dishes. Not for everyone but if you love a fry its perfect.

Nice place to sit and have breakfast.

I have an order of 2 hot chocolates 1 cappuccino 1 Latte 1 flat white but the gentleman made all of are same with no difference and no coffee tests flat white at all.

I been in there 2 time's over past year each time they forget my drink and each time I asked for 6 or more things to be told no sorry don't have it I fill let down I won't be back I'll go kfc next time plus they seem to think it's ok to not listen and talk to the next customer why I Ur trying to order.

When I visited this cafe, I was greeted with smile, the chef who took my order did a precise job, he got my order right. The waitress served me well with smiley face. In fact the service and food was excellent. The toilet was clean, door was opened wide for good ventilation. This is the best place to bring your family to give them a good treat. This is what I ordered, tell me what you think about it.

I took my family to the café for breakfast only to be charged what turned out to be the "new near prices". These are sadly not the prices one sees on the menus (on each table) but on the board above the grills (pay point). Pointless, really, table service with the order made based on the table menus. One gets to pay an extra £1 for the kids menu, +£0.5 for other items (such as eggs on toast)...all pay point surprise. Upon indicating that the menus show other prices, I was told that "the new menus haven't arrived yet". Not a reason to still have these now old menus (they were in order in December) on your tables. Unfortunately, and despite our loyal support for this place, we won't be returning.

Food was average but owner made up prices when it came to paying. Apparently only tea included in set breakfast not coffee so beware. Supposedly it was £20 for £12 worth of breakfasts with two extra cans of drink and extra mushroom on one. Essentially £8 for 2 cans and some mushrooms.

Disappointing. Ordered breakfast as soon as we arrived but I noticed nothing was being cooked until 10-15mins later. It took 25mins to serve up a simple breakfast and the sausages were over done, rubbery skin. I didn't have time to finish and ate in a rush as I had to work- I gave myself 45mins, clearly not enough time! Also I watched as the chef dropped his utensil, bend to pick it up and continue to use it...

I enjoy having egg and chips and mushrooms and a nice coffee once a week at this nice cafe, good atmosphere and friendly staff

Fantastic café - friendly service, great prices and, most importantly, excellent food! I go there every couple of weeks and they never let me down. I highly recommend popping in and enjoying a good portion of tasty food with great service while supporting a local business that has been hit hard by the pandemic.

Glad I stumbled onto this spot, the lady who served us was lovely, we had a late breakfast and it was delicious. And super affordable. Their prices are excellent. Cant go wrong when breakfast is around £5 for a big plate! I'm definitely going back again next time I want an English breakfast!
