The food was excellent value a fusion of Caribbean and English dishes, all freshly cooked. The choice of dishes ranged from oxtail with butter beans, curry mutton, jerk chicken and lamb shanks which were really tender. Our plates were overflowing with the food on the menu. The staff were very friendly, and I would encourage anyone who havent tried caribbean food to give this pub a try. Well done Trevor and Marie we went home stuffed, thank you for your warm hospitality.

We booked The Cricketers for my sister's wake and Trevor couldn't have done enough for us. On such a sad day, he made us all feel welcome. He let us display pictures of my sister and play all her favourite bands music. The pub layout is perfect with the area we had reserved, it was private but still amongst others visiting the pub, which meant we could branch off to a quieter area of the pub if we wanted to. Drinks were very reasonable and the food was amazing. We choose a mix of Jamaican and English cuisine and there was plenty to go around. We had family and friends visiting from all over and the location for the pub was perfectly placed with their own private car park, close to the bus and tram interchange and train station. I would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a venue for an occasion as we found it to be perfect and you will certainly be looked after. The Jamaican food was that good, I will be making some regular visits in the future.

So I went into this establishment after I'd finished work. Got stopped by the bouncers, asked for a £2 entry fee. Okay fair enough, before I order I go to the toilets, only during mid piss to have the door kicked in and some girl try to start a fight. Highly intimidating place unless you're extremely underdressed and have alot of men around you,or you're just an outright chav. You couldn't get me back in even if you paid me.
