Unexpectedly found this place and it was a GREAT find on a lovely day, staff very friendly and helpful,the vegetarian burgers were delicious..... hopefully be back one day.

Classic beach side bar with good value pub grub

Best bar in all of Scotland! Family owned and operated with some of the nicest people we’ve ever met. Made us Americans feel right at home. The food was fantastic and easily best curry sauce on this side of the pond. Also bingo on Tuesdays are a hoot. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Everything you want in a pub. The staff were exceptionally friendly, the food was really tasty and the atmosphere was inviting. Definitely recommend.

Disappointing. Ordered pakora which was overdone - and something called chilli!! No taste of chilli - no sauce at all - basically just tasteless dry mince with rice . Other party members meals were OK apart from mountains of chips - half of which would probably be thrown out - such a waste.!

This pub was recommended by our lovely B&B host (Easter Garth Guest House) and did not disappoint. Great prices, quick, attentive and courteous service. Dog friendly, too! They stop taking food orders around 7:45pm as the kitchen closes at 8.

Nice food, there were a few vegetarian options. Nice and simple but tasty. Local beer on tap and lovely location.

Ordered a Fish & Chips as a take away. Nice wait inside the restaurant, and didn't have to wait too long (maybe 10 mins). Price was reasonable and the food itself was excellent!

Visited today for lunch with my family on the hoof, we all had burgers and homemade fries and the food was fresh and delicious, the service was really great and the atmosphere was fantastic, can't wait to catch the ferry for a return visit!

Fish, chips and curry sauce was absolutely lovely, curry was was like a local takeaway we used to that which closed down so was very pleasant suprise. Staff dead canny. Dog friendly was a few cute pups chillin with their family. Clean and lovely atmosphere.

Stopped in here for a break from driving, didn't stay long though we just wanted a bathroom break and a drink then off again. They serve Topps cola here (I'd never heard of it) fiancée and myself didn't like it but our friend did ( I don't like coke and they don't serve pepsi max). It's a nice wee pub, and the bar staff are friendly. We have said we will go back and try the food as it looks nice .

First visit to this great wee pub, staff were welcoming and friendly, the bar snack we had was magic and will definitely return, outdoor seating gives a fantastic view of the water. Kilcreggan is a peaceful village and deserves a visit 👍

Very friendly, food was great and the dogs heartily welcomed. The only negative is the parking.

We visited last week and have to say it was brilliant. We had the fish and chips and honestly it was well worth it. Light crispy batter on fresh Haddock, chips, mushy peas and tartar sauce. Stayed for the bingo and had so much fun. Locals made us feel welcome and we will be going back. Well worth a visit.

Great bar. Everyone was super friendly and the Mac and cheese was phenomenal.

Came in on quiz night. The word that came to mind was wholesome. My friend and I enjoyed it and a few pints with the locals. Great place to have a drink, especially if you're staying nearby.

The food was great. We stopped in on a quiet Monday lunch and the food came out really quickly and was sizzling hot and tasty. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

GET THE BELGIAN WAFFLES! They're the single most delicious thing we had, hands down, all around! For dinner, just be careful with the haddock as they can't guarantee there won't be any bones. Service was phenomenal, and the staff was very professional and friendly. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely come back to eat again!

A lovely small locals bar that makes a great stop for cyclists or visitors to the area. Good menu for lunch stop.

Impromptu visit today. Jumped on the Gourock to Kilcreggan ferry with my two eldest and friend. That was fun! Then a spot of beach and shop combing… browsed in the well stocked Cost Cutters, the beautiful antiques shop and yVie’s wonderful Retro Vintage store, then welcomed with an open fire in The Creggans Bar where we all enjoyed a very tasty meal! A great day out!

Brilliant wee pub with tasty food , Black and Blue Burger is a must have ( yum yum) open fire is fantastic on a cold day , fabulous staff .

Pretty good food. Fish and chips and a couple of beers Doombar. The pub is situated opposite the pier with views across the Clyde to Grennock. The bar has a friendly atmosphere and was quite busy. Parking can be limited. But it is a good place to stop if you are visiting and exploring around the peninsula. Next doors has a cafe and tea room which is also nice during the day.

Views from the window and outside seating are great. Prices reasonable. Definitely worth a visit, and in this part of the country your options are limited.

Terrific place. Very warm welcome from the staff. Best fish and chips I've had in a pub/restaurant. My wife and daughter each had the seafood selection (I forget how it appears on the menu 🙄) and both say it was perfect, my wife also said the accompanying salad was perfect, with the ideal dressing. Drinks are very reasonable. I can't wait to return.
