The Courtyard Brewery in Oldham

Awful. Had a drink and came back got threatened to be locked in toilet. Avoid

Booked a table online. When we arrived they was not expecting us and offered us a bench with a small table. This was not adequate with having a bad back. When we asked for a table with chairs, the waiter stated there wasn't a table available as they were reserved. Although we had also booked. Bought a small coke for £1.90 that was poured from a 1.5litre bottle of coke. I understand that it is dog friendly, but we was literally surrounded by at least 8 dogs. Fair to say we left without an apology or food. Poor service, would not go back.

We have been to the Courtyard lots of times and always enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Today on the other hand the street food was pizza and we found it extremely expensive for what we got. £28 for 2 small pizza's.

We went to the Courtyard yesterday afternoon as i heard that Noo was there serving her Thai food. We had a drink, the Sip lager, which was really nice. Im usually a bit fussy with lager. Then food. Well all i can say is its the best tasting food ever. A lady in there who was also eating, said that she had just returned from Thailand and didnt once come across a fried rice that compared to Noo's. The place is so relaxing and the food was better than restaurant quality. Thankyou Noo and Neil. Cant wait until youre there again.

Booked online for burger night as advertised online, got there to an Asian night! Service non existent, no one around waiting to seat us, finally found out table covered in food and empty glasses. Asked a waitress for help, very unhelpful and rude. Would not go again.

Lovely little micro-brewery. Really pleasant atmosphere with excellent mood lighting. Staff are attentive with the food and drink being reasonably priced. The owners Jacqui and Chris are great guys who will ensure you have a great experience. Highly recommended. :)

Casual and very pleasant place for a relaxing drink.

Lovely atmosphere, dog friendly, child friendly mix of ages. Thai street food evening when we visited, cooked by Noo Healey assisted by her husband Neil Healey. Food is excellent.

This is an absolutely fantastic place for a drink in Royton...a true gem...haven't had food however I've heard nothing but great comments from people who have eaten there...for me it's all about the brilliant choice of awesome beers they produce and sell at a very reasonable price.. if your visiting royton the the courtyard is a must visit.

Didn't eat, as we had a Sunday Roast waiting St Home loved the Pale Ale and we both enjoyed the Cherry Beer, busy with a good mix of ages, had a great buzz and will definitely be back

Came here over weekend £4.10 for apple cider which wasn't even a pint! Wouldn't rush back but will come and try the food in the future.

Its a good place to sample real ales dont agee with the 2/3rds of a pint but its ok!

Right idea in right location, but kinda missed the finer detail. I give it 4* because it has potential to get it right. Could be amazing if actually applied some basics. Don't be put off by my observation, you'll probably agree. :-)

Great idea to make a brewery at the back of the pub the ciders on tap and real ales spot on . Love the design of the place and the Brazilian food nice just one pointer make real chips not the frozen ones otherwise great 👍🏽

Called at Secret Sip but it was shut. Sign on the door said if closed try courtyard around back. Went around to the back and sure enough there was a courtyard and it was buzzing. Mainly long tables inside but quite roomy. Bigger than it looks from first approach. Looks like they have pop up restaurants here. Pizza the previous week and Thai on our visit. Reasonable prices but didn't try coz going for a meal to Mazzos. Quite a few beers usually but on our visit they had almost been drunk dry over the bank holiday weekend. Did try a pint of Pelaton and it was superb. Will be back just for that one beer. Staff very friendly and approachable.

Great quirky bar/ restaurant..lots of choice of beers ...the strawberry cider is delicious...didn't eat here but the menu looked very appetizing...reasonably priced and friendly staff...I'll definitely be calling again 👍👍🥂

Excellent place. Creatively decorated, with a good range of beers and wines. Amazingly tasty food was available last night, although I believe it is an ever changing menu. Small interior, but it makes for a more intimate experience I would definitely drink/dine here again

It was kebab night and the food was OK. I thought the drinks were overpriced especially when it's only 2/3 of a pint for £4.40!! What's that all about 2/3 of a pint. I wouldn't rush back

Love coming here, staff are so friendly and make you feel welcome, amazing idea of having guest food options each week, the choices of ales, beers and gins are fantastic and swapped up too , lovely to have a taster board for drinks too when you're not sure what you'd like. Can't wait to come back after baby has arrived!

Love being able to get the taster trays. Some amazing beers and ciders. Street food pop ups are quality. A little gem in Royton, wouldn’t be out of place in shoreditch/NQ. Would highly recommend 😁
