Another lovely meal here on Saturday, food delicious, couldn't fault anything about this place. Definitely recommend it.

Enjoyed a good meal with friends and family. Great choice & attentive waiters etc.

Only been the once, and so my review is based on that experience. It was reasonable food, for what was probably a reasonable price. Service was ok. I found nothing to offend me.. Nor excite me either. Would return, but don't care if I don't. :)

Came for my mum's birthday and all 6 of us absolutely loved it. Food was served fresh, and came out timely which was perfect to digest and fully enjoy the food. The food is amazing. Staff were lovely and my mum got lots of lovely treats as it was her birthday. I had the chicken balti chilli masala with rice and peshwari naan, popadoms and chutney mix, and the starter mix. All were 10/10. I've been craving this so much since we came last month, i'll be back again!!

After reading good reviews decided to try here. Starters of onion bajis, lamb chops and lamb momos, bajis and chops were nice but, momos definitely weren’t momos, more like sliced pancakes with lamb inside and not dumplings. However the lamb was very tender. Main course of chana gosht was very bland , lamb was chewy and couldn’t taste any spice whatsoever even though it was supposed to be hot. Staff were pleasant, but unfortunately food didn’t live up to expectations

Excellent service, the food was really tasty, especially the fish pakora, try here you will not be disappointed.

Had a takeaway from here on Christmas Day. Bit pricey but food was really nice. Tandoori lamb chops were delicious.

It was Very busy, it was my first time in, on Christmas Eve, we had pre ordered our meal, it was absolutely beautiful, the staff were all very friendly, the service was good and all in all we thoroughly enjoyed it and would go again.

First time here. The food was very nice. Brought in a timely manner and food temperature was just right. That said, It would be 5 stars but 2 things were a set back for me. 1. Non of the gins I actually wanted were available so had to pic a random one in the hope they had it. The bill wasn't compensated for it which was a disappointment. It's December and weekend and didnt have what was advertised in stock. 2. The prices of the drinks are ridiculous! Too expensive! Next time if I do come, I won't be getting any drinks as they are simply overpriced. But the weds and Sunday offer is perfect

I don't often give 5 starts for a review however I thoughally enjoyed my meal here. I had the pawn chat puri starter followed by the curry pot special mowchak both of which were delicious. Staff are friendly and efficient and although when we arrived it was busy we didn't have long to wait for our food. Would definitely go back

This place has deliciously tasty food. We were over visiting from Belfast and were so impressed with the variety of the food and the flavours. Indian food can be heavy but this was light and very flavoursome. The Peshawar naan was amazing , light and packed with flavour but not overly sweet !! Price wise it is very reasonable and service was very quick. If you are in the area pop in you won't be disappointed

Really tasty food and reasonably priced

We went last night and the staff were so helpful, from the moment we arrived. The food was superb, beautifully cooked. I had Tandoori Lamb with rogan josh sauce, pilau rice and the obligatory salad. My friend had King Prawn Tikka Masala with Pilau rice and a naan bread. They also have a great selection of, the various flavours and make, Gins. Excellent! A Great Night.

A delicious meal , well priced, staff were attentive, but not overpowering. A good atmosphere, with background music. A return visit is a must.

Absolutely gorgeous food. We had the Sunday deal & it was fantastic value for money; Popadom with Chutney tray, one starter, one curry & one side for £13.95. The onion bhajis are gorgeous, so light & crispy. The staff are happy to recommend different curries if you want to step out of your comfort zone & are all friendly & helpful. All in all gorgeous curry & a fabulous atmosphere.

A group of friends and I went for a curry and had a fab experience. The food was delicious and the service was great, couldn't have been more helpful.

5 stars for the food I hardly rate a 5 star but these guys know their food and made it so nice and delicious. Service was on point and got all orders correct. Kept asking us if we needed anything. And the complimentary coffee and drinks was a nice touch. Will be coming again thanks guys keep it up.

The Weds and Sunday special 3 course menu offer £12.95pp is a bargain! There’s a really good selection of starters and mains to choose from. The restaurant was quite busy when we went on a weds evening. The food was lovely as usual but the food wasn’t piping hot as it usually is. Ended taking home a doggie bag as we had ordered extra starters as well. Staff were lovely and helpful with menu choices. It’s still my fav curry place in Shaw.

Went on a work's do here and had a really lovely evening. The food was beautiful, very tasty and full of flavour. Staff friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning. *Update... After such a great first time here, I brought my mum for her mother's day treat. Chose a different meal and I enjoyed it as much, if not more than the first. Love the variety of veggie/ Vegan options. Came at 5pm . staff and service amazing. Cost £30 for a couple of poppadoms, 4 pots of dips, two Currys, ciabatta, nan, and chip's. We drank water and was offered a complimentary Irish/brandy coffee on finishing. Can't wait to go and try something else. Sticking with the 5* rating.

We went as a tribe of 20 people with a very last-minute booking. The food was excellent and the customer service was second to none. I can happily say everyone one us left with a smile one our faces

New favourite, went Friday to a birthday, everything spot on, friendly ( not in your face) staff,, The food was delicious hot and very tasty, everyone in the party( 16 ) enjoyed it, we liked it so much we taking Grandaughter and her little one at weekend can't wait,yummy

5 of us went out for a birthday meal, 4 had chicken curry, I had king prawn curry. I was so ill through the night, so bad that I couldn't open our cafe for 3 days, then I had to get someone in to cover for me. Our doctor confirmed food poisoning from the prawns. I will never go there again. That meal cost me hundreds of pounds in lost takings and provided cover. I was off work for a full week.

Just returned from a meal at Bengal Curry Pot. The food was delicious, service faultless. We shall certainly be returning.

Wow. This place is superb. First time we’ve been. Food was to die for. Staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive. It was spotlessly clean and this is most definitely our new go to curry house. Got the set menu for 2 which was amazing value for money. Can’t wait to go back. Absolutely 10/10.

Food was lovely, really tasty and came out fairly quickly even though they were busy. The only issue was that we had to ask for the bill 3times and once it came it was wrong and somehow put an extra £20 on as everything was hand written on a recipt, but once confronted about it they apologise and and corrected it and ask for me to check again to confirm they've done it right. I will still most definitely go back as accident happen and they owned up and corrected it.

Had a lovely 3 course meal here tonight, the service was attentive, food came out quickly, it was hot and really tasty. Would definitely revisit and would recommend.

This was our first visit to the Bengal Curry Pot, so it had to be right because we were celebrating a birthday. From stepping into the premises we were greeted with smiling faces and very attentive staff. This was a surprisingly large dining area, with spacious comfortable seating. A selection of tasteful Bollywood music created a perfect atmosphere. The food was indeed excellent as was the service. The cost was very reasonable. We will be returning.
