Room great it did seem a little disorganised though

Only used the Bar Facilties as live Locally, the food was delicious and ample servings. Will hopefully be visiting regularly

Was Christmas night so no people but pin entry at front door & room. Watch out though cos your pin expires strictly on check out time. Tap the pic of a card in the middle of the door handle as not very intuitive. Would stay again.

The room was clean and warm but there is no check in staff and the lady I spoke to on the phone to check in was impossible to understand.. there is literature around the hotel stating they serve breakfast but they don't and seeing as that there is no where in Selkirk that does early in the morning that was a problem

Self check in was no problem. Room was clean with tea making facilities.

Booked on booking.com . 4 people and my dog for my husbands 50th . Emailed the hotel to check a few things as dog friendly hotel . Question asked Can my dog be with us throughout the hotel ie bar and restaurant? We do not currently have our bars and restaurant open; the Breakfast Room / Resident’s Lounge DOES have an area where your dog can be with you. > Does the hotel have any entertainment? Not currently available > Do you have a beer garden? We do, but it will not be open during your visit So nearly £400 (£50 per head for a bed, wash !) Oh and my dog was £9 per night If I had not emailed I would have went and ruiened my husbands 50th birthday.... Sorry it is advertised as a hotel definitely not more like a hostel.... obviously I cancelled.... total false advertised

The stay was fabulous:) We were welcome to eat our dinner from a takeaway in the breakfast room, clean and comfortable rooms, the service is kind the breakfast is very good and tasty👌

Awesome little place in a beautiful village. The owner was very friendly and helped with everything I asked for. Even got some free accommodation inside for my bicycle! The room was very clean and quite spacious. Loved the shower! Best thing, the price was very sensible. Also, plenty of places to eat around.

Rooms need attention. Owner looked at us in horror when we suggested we might want breakfast. Photos suggest there is bar/restaurant here, this is not the case. No staff around. Bed like a rock. Street light right outside window, and curtains do not fit the window. Need blackout blinds. Location wise, very central, car park at rear which is convenient.

We stayed here for 1 night when visiting family at Selkirk over Easter. The location was brilliant, literally a 5 minute walk to our relatives house with plenty of shops on the doorstep! The welcome was warm and accommodating, staff were all friendly and extremely helpful, nothing was a bother to them, special thanks to Oliver who greeted us at check in. We stayed in the family room which had plenty of room and a nice shower too, more than enough for 1 night stay, plenty of tea and coffee available within the room Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, all made fresh to order We will definitely stay here again when next visiting family
