The Cottage Cafe in County Durham

The best little cafe in Spennymoor. If you're looking for proper home cooked food this is your place. Staff are friendly and welcoming, their menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. Seating is available on two floors and there is a bathroom situated on the first floor. The cafe is clean and accessible for all users. You will always be pleasantly surprised when your meal arrives, the portion sizes are very generous and extremely delicious. Always our first choice for food.. we even have them deliver to us when we cant get down to the cafe. The same food delivered by their friendly driver. For ease of payments they do take good old cash, and card payments, and the delivery driver also has a card machine if you're like me and dont carry cash. Give them a shot you wont be disappointed

We went in here purely by chance as we were walking past. The food was really nice and the staff were very friendly. There was a huge menu which seemed to cater for most people. Prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes. We will definitely be back.

Great little find, very friendly, great service , food was good and cheap, the smell of boiling veg for the dinners , took you back in time, the bacon and sausage sandwiches were massive , dont miss out
