Fabulous. So hope they do well. Freindly and welcoming staff. The icecream sundaes we had were delicious and very good value for money. My husbands strawberry sundae was packed with fresh strawberries. A lovely place to go. Well reccommended.

Could you resist an ice cream parlour with a giant cone shaped table? I couldn't. I love mixing up flavours in different ways (but somehow salted caramel always makes it in there. If you REALLY want to treat yourself to something a bit different - try the warm cookie dough with ice cream or the ice cream topped bubble waffles. Great choice of flavours, choice of toppings and just a really bright, colourful spot (did I mention the Cone table?) to park yourself for a few minutes - either after lunch or later in the afternoon for a cool, creamy pick me up.

Incredibly welcoming and friendly team, that were thoughtful in recommending seating to us knowing they had a children's party arriving shortly. We had the chance to witness the team as they took the orders from the children before they went into the back room and they were kind, patient and helpful with some very excited children! Creamy and delicious gelato, a lovely treat that felt good value for money. Would absolutely return!

Had a visit to Banbury and found this amazing ice cream parlour. So friendly, great seating areas and gelato that is locally made in every flavour you want. The gelato is the best i've ever tasted and i had this with a bubble waffle, which was the best i've ever had. Would highly recommend a visit to The Cone, Banbury if you can

From the outside, the Swan Inn might appear to be a simple village pub, but step inside, and you’re in for an extraordinary experience. Upon entering, we were immediately impressed by the open view of the professional kitchen, where chefs could be seen meticulously preparing dishes. It was clear right away that this was not just another gastro pub. We were warmly welcomed and seated, and our waiter, Joe, guided us through the menu with care and clarity. His thoughtful explanations made choosing our dishes an enjoyable experience. Before our starters arrived, we were treated to freshly baked bread served with two types of butter: honey and malt. The combination was sensational and set the tone for what was to come. For starters, I had the venison, which was incredibly tender – it melted with a single fork stroke. The flavours were perfectly balanced, allowing the venison to truly shine. A delightful surprise was the inclusion of two mini onion rings, lightly battered and utterly delicious. My wife opted for the burrata, complemented by a delicate candied orange peel. It was a brilliant pairing, and we’ve already decided to replicate it at home. For mains, I had the rib-eye steak, cooked to a flawless medium-rare. The quality was outstanding – a well-hung steak that true steak lovers will immediately recognize as exceptional. My wife chose the Thai curry, which was a masterclass in balance. Unlike many other curries, this one wasn’t overwhelmed by cream; instead, the fresh, fragrant ingredients took centre stage. If The Swan Inn were located in a more densely populated area, I have no doubt it would be booked out weeks in advance. It’s a hidden gem that delivers in every way. We loved every second and will absolutely be returning. Five stars, without a doubt.

Excellent restaurant Excellent food We visited on the worst day of the year, and immediately we were greeted with smiling friendly waiters/es. We could tell how good this place is, because all the guests seemed to know the staff. Food was as hoped for. Could not finish everything, but the doggie bag was well received on returning home.
