The Coffee Pot in East Ayrshire

On a cold day and in need of something hot to eat we popped into the Coffee Pot while passing through Cumnock. More of a traditional cafe than coffee shop they have a decent menu of Scottish favourites such as macaroni cheese and chips, mince and chips, haggis, soups etc., and a selection of hot filled rolls (including a roll ‘n mince) as well as more exotic fare such as chicken tempura. We chose a couple of ranch burgers that were perfectly cooked, nicely presented and very tasty. Service was warm and friendly and, all in all, this is a super cafe.

Excellent customer service, great food & drinks with a wide variety at excellent prices, and great atmosphere when eating in.

Old styled coffee shop which we seemed to have lost today, went in 3 times during our stay, cakes were first class, also chips in a roll how great was that, if in Cumnock please go

The Coffee Pot do a lovely takeaway menu and you can also sit in and eat, friednly staff , no parking outside though

Driving through Cummnock one Saturday, we needed a snack. We saw this place, which had loads of parking across the road. Everything about it was great. It was light and spacious with lots of room between the tables. Service was great. Toilet clean. The food was marvellous, basic Scottish food, and a reasonable price. Lots of all day breakfast options. Maybe mince rolls are often offered in Ayrshire, but I've not seen then in years. My husband had a mince roll and scrambled egg roll, both so good he'd like to go back. I had mince on a baked potato, also good, though next time I'll have the roll. Definitely recommend this place.

Well worth a visit, family friendly place and food great, definitely be back... only closes 2 daya a year so plenty of days to choose from.

Nuestra familia recientemente visité la ciudad de Mysonar Cumnock en unas vacaciones en familia y disfrutamos de una gran taza de café y chocolate caliente en la Cafetera a calentar en un nosotros mañana de primavera fría.Disfrutamos de algunos una gran taza de café, nuestros niños disfrutaron de un chocolate caliente con tamaño super todos los detalles de nubes y crema!También disfrutamos de algunos de los pasteles en ofrecer, como la tarta de zanahoria, que todos estamos de acuerdo en que era precioso y húmeda y sin duda merece la pena probar.El servicio fue muy amable con todo el personal nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos.Un pequeño café si estás Mysonar Cumnock.

this is a cosy spot to take a break after shopping and the new shopping centre is getting built for this summer will bring extra enjoyment

Buena comida - recién preparados cuando pedimos. Muy sabrosa. Precio muy bueno también. Bromas genial y el personal era muy amable. Por desgracia, decepción mal por limpieza y estado de baño. Moho en tubos bajo cisterna, mancha en wc y baldosas rotas en el piso del baño. Sillas de asientos, necesita o barnizados. Una pena, porque podría ser un excepcional lugar
