Nice pub in pool, with live music and entertainment. Spacious with plenty of seating, polo table and dartboard and TV. Nice outside seating area.

Great traditional pub with original features! Good to see it open again - it’s a great hotspot for the community to enjoy. It’s definitely a go-to for drinkers and music lovers! The redecoration (summer 2024) has been sympathetic to its character - it has been refreshed with care. Great venue, quick service and friendly atmosphere!

Just pure perfection (Harry - god) when I walked in for the first time, I was made to feel very welcome!! Hospitally is very very good. The guys behind the bar are very knowledgeable about not only the pub, but also the local area.

Nyssa is amazing staff, she made us feel so welcome and did amazingly to cater to all of our needs.

Nyssa the bar staff served us next to immaculate drinks all night and had nothing but the upmost best service of bartenders I've seen in my pub time.

This is old town Poole at its best friendly and no pretence

This pub is a great drinkers pub. The barmaid was very helpful and knew what she was doing. There is a poole table in the bar. Our group was 8 men all on our xmas drink and we was a bit loud and lively but this wasn't a problem (I don't think so anyway). I would go back again in Male company. I don't know what it's like in the evening but I would think it would be full of locals. I thought it was a good pub for a group of lads.

Lovely people all round an great pub.

Went for a pint after 'Bathtub' race. Served with a measure which was far less than a pint, asked for the beer to be topped up only to be met with a look of shear disdain and 'Some people like a head on a pint' snarled comment! Round came to £4.90, gave the Barmaid five pounds but no change given. Since when has a British pub adopted the European way of fleecing customers!!! Needless to say, they will not hear my footsteps across their threshold ever!!!!!!!!
