Excellent food and service with a smile. We took my sister and brother in law for Sunday lunch and the food was spectacular. A choice of 4 different meats and a fish choice. Everything perfectly cooked and my brother in law was raving about it for hours after. Despite being full, we caught a glimpse of the Eton Mess so we all had to have some, and it didn’t disappoint. Amazing. Really lovely afternoon was had by all and can’t wait to come back again. We’ve eaten here previously for the specials night and the Friday fish and steak night and everything has always been excellent. If you’ve not tried it yet, I’d definitely recommend.

Diego and Sascha provide the catering for Bull Bay Golf Club situated just outside Amlwch, which is open to everyone. We have dined here on several occasions and always enjoyed both the quality of food and the setting, which is particularly spectacular if the weather allows a table on the veranda overlooking the 18th green. Sunday lunches are excellent value too with a choice of meats and freshly cooked vegetables served with all the trimmings. Booking essential. Friday evening is always a Fish and Chips or Steak night and highly recommended, but you need to book ahead and eat fairly early as the kitchen tends to close around 7:00pm and children are very welcome. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. In summary, this is a hidden gem and worth seeking out. You will find a relaxed atmosphere, a well stocked bar and good value quality meals on offer.

My husband & I have eaten several times at Diego’s Kitchen at Bull Bay Golf Club. A beautiful location with sea views. Chef Diego’s food is excellent as is the service by Sacha. We will return soon. Many thanks

Diego's kitchen is situated in the members club At Bull Bay golf club with outstanding views over the Irish sea as well as of the beautifully manicured golf course. Sasha and Diego work very hard to provide good quality meals at a reasonable price and are very friendly and welcoming. We have had several meals there ranging from Italian evenings to steak nights but our favourite is their traditional Sunday lunch. A lovely meal prepared and served by lovely people and in a wonderful location.

Used frequently when playing golf here.Every meal I have eaten here has been excellent. Visitors from other clubs have said the food is the best they have had at any course in North Wales. The restaurant is open to the general public and it would be a shame if visitors to the region didn’t find this hidden gem. The fish and chips and steak night on Friday is a bargain

We (family of 3) visited on 4 July (see facebook) and could not believe our eyes when we walked into The Clock Tower on Market Way in Carmarthen. This place was a paradise for hungry vegans serving pizza, pasties, cakes, cupcakes, biscuits, chocolates etc. The variety and choice was quite overwhelming. You have to visit Absolute Treats to get an idea of how much different types of food there are here. There are a wide range of flavours to suit all palates, so get on down there. Well worth a visit and check out their website. :)

Only came across this hidden cafe with a community spirited hostess on our way back to South Wales & were smitten by how friendly and accommodating they were. If anyone in your group has a hidden need, for example avoiding cafes with a cabinet full of coca cola cans, Croes y Ceiliog at Llanwrda has the solution, making you feel like a family member. Their tasty home made food too = return visit a definite!

I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open ! I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this ! It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still ! The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele! Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! Lol x Thanks for all the care the staff gave given me since moving to Burry Port/ Pembrey. South Wales. Th

Visited here for lunch, drinks came quickly but unfortunately the Saturday girl had put our food order in the wrong place...she also forgot we asked for no ice, input the wrong prices at the till and when I asked where the food was she had to come back and ask me what my question was.... The manager (possibly?!) was very apologetic, our food came quickly once we had asked, with a few freebies. The bread that was served was amazing, the wedges weren't the correct ones on the menu but I was very hungry by the time the food arrived! It has been decorated brilliantly and there is a good food and drink selection to choose from. Unfortunately the staff member let it down but if they got that right this could be a really great place!
