The food was incredible. I got the a la carte menu. The flavours were immaculate and only one thing topped it… THE SERVICE! I have never felt so looked after in any restaurant. Foyj, Lynch, Lewis and Luke had my friend and I in stitches and were an absolute pleasure. I wish I could tip because this experience was worth a lot more than what we paid!!

This was my first visit to The Clink for lunch and it will be the first of many! I went with my friend who has visited for lunch on several occasions and highly recommended I went and I'm so glad I did. Lovely dining room, delicious food (my cod was cooked to perfection) and excellent front of house service by Mo and Andre who were friendly, polite, attentive and efficient. A big thank you to them, the chefs and all the staff for a lovely all-round lunch experience.

Top class meal with friendly welcoming staff throughout. Particular thanks to Mo, our very attentive waiter. Everything was very well organised and the restaurant itself was lovely. Truly a 'fine dining' experience and one definitely to be repeated. Many thanks to all.

I visited for Sunday dinner with my family. Amazing experience down to the security checking eating in the restaurant and leaving though the big metal controlled gates :) The food was amazing so tasty, the inmates were all so chatty and lovely so well done to you all including the chefs ofcourse. I want to say a massive well done to Ted our waiter. It was his first day he was lovely he took the time to speak about himself and his hobbies on the outside was a lovely chat. I wish him all the best and well done you should be proud. We will defiantly be returning that's for sure. Thanks for the experience and well done to everyone involved. X

We went for Sunday lunch. The menu was really varied and exciting. Food was fab and it was really nice chatting with our servers and finding out a bit about their training. Would definitely return!

Sunday lunch with my wife yesterday afternoon. A fantastic experience, 10/10... would highly recommend. The quality of the food was very good and the service from Jamie and Mo professional, polite and speedy. Excellent food, all done by the trainee inmates Directions they provide could be better, once you arrived it was not clear where to go , you had to register for security checks half an hour before meal, before they showed you into restaurant. You must bring photo I'd, with you, and you have to go through a scanner, airport style. You cannot bring anything with you in the restaurant only a credit card and coat. You leave everything else in a locker outside the prison Unfortunately they got our table mixed up registered us as table 12 instead of table 9 so we had to wait sometime for our food, as waiters were not sure who it was for. Two courses for 30.00,and three courses for 35.00,no need to have side orders as main meal big enough, they also ask you if they can put 12 per cent on bill for service charge, which is a bit of a cheek, as I expect that does not go to prisoner's. Quite expensive restaurant but food very good

Went for Christmas Lunch with my cousin. Absolutely first class. The food was amazing, beautifully cooked and presented. The front of house guys Shah and Cliff were both friendly and attentive, we enjoyed chatting to them, they were both very proud of their work. Please pass on my compliments to everyone in the kitchen as well as front of house. You are all doing an amazing job. I will be coming back as soon as I can 🙂

I went to the clink Today for a Christmas meal with my cousin. It was one of the best meals I have ever tasted. The food was like going to the ivy restaurant, I was so impressed. It was my first visit but definitely not my last! The front of house staff that served us was Shah and Cliff, they were both very professional and friendly, we engaged in lots of conversations with them both about their journey in the clink. Please pass on my compliments to them they should be very proud of their work and I wish them both every success for the future. Keep up the good work boys. Hope to see you again soon. I would highly recommend this restaurant, the attention to detail with the food is second to none. 5 star service all round!

Just got back from lunch at The Clink, Sutton, with my mum. What an amazing and unique experience! The food was delicious and beautifully presented and really interesting to be served by and cooked for by the prisoners. They were all extremely polite and helpful. I believe the barman and I have concocted a new flavour of iced coffee too! Will definitely return.

It’s quite interesting I suppose, but I didn’t enjoy the food, or the fact that it’s sort of in a prison.

My husband and i visited the Clinks restaurant today. We were very impressed with the hospitality of our waiter and the attentiveness he gave us. The food was of first class quality and presented well. The restaurant is welcoming with soft changeable lights. We will certainly visit again.

Keep returning. Excellent food and friendly attentive staff. A unique experience and very happy to support this excellent charity.

Six of us went recently and enjoyed the experience so much I am now booking again for food.the food quality surpassed many top London restaurants and I have eaten at a few.the flavours and textures were all there. Our waiter Ben was charming and efficient.he was proactive and when my wife mentioned some allergies she has he was quick to adapt her preferred dishes and drink.Naturally no alcohol is served but there is a good range of soft drinks and a mocktail of the day.i had a few issues as I am in an electric wheelchair but again the management team were quick to get me into the restaurant a different way and out through the main entrance.I don’t know how many of the prisoners go into catering when released but I am sure they will easily get a job, in fact we were told that two recently obtained employment at The Savoy Hotel in London.

Food was fantastic. Atmosphere was great. Price was reasonable. Service was good. Minor slip ups but could not have been more accommodating and happy to chat to you. A great experience out of my comfort zone. Only negative would be that you have to leave the restaurant in groups for security reasons. So you may have to wait for slow eaters to finish before leaving. Can't hold that against them though.

Amazing concept with prisoners as chefs and waiters. You wouldn’t know! Service is such incredible quality and the food is so delicious. Really, really recommend. Even cater to vegans!

Been meaning to have lunch at the Clink for many years and finally got there. Food was excellent as well as the service and it was interesting talking with the inmate who served us (very friendly and open about his past and his experience in prison). Really impressed with this charity giving inmates skills and confidence for when they leave prison. Highly recommended.

A surreal experience but absolutely amazing. A fine dining experience with a difference. Food tastes great. No alcohol but drink selection is good. A must visit which supports the rehabilitation of offenders.

My wife and her friend had the most amazing meal there today...she hasn't stopped talking about it....the service was first class and the clotted cream ice cream was to die for apparently...so you will be seeing her again with me in tow next time...already put our booking in for September!!!

Have you tried the banoffee? Hard as rock. Desert spoon not served. We had to use our main meal fork and spoon. We did complain about the banoffee but the chef said THEY WERE TAUGHT TO DO IT THAT WAY, so they are not liable to refund. Many bad reviews like this are being deleted. So pay what your monies worth. We hammered the banoffee with the main course fork and spoon and it flew off the table. From banoffee to BAN OFF EEEEEEEEE

Totally unique as a location as you are "Inside" so to speak. The security is tight and you must book but it is so worth it. Going inside the prison gates is an experience in itself and once in the restaurant it is comfortable and extremely professional. The food is of a high quality and presented well it is a small menu but there is enough choice. The service is professional and polite.

I lunched at The Clink Brixton Prison today. What a wonderful experience this was! Our server was Sadiq and he was a gem! So polite and attentive - we wanted for nothing. The seasonal menu was really enticing too with an excellent range of starters and mains - both vegetarian and non-vegetarian! I ate a divine goats cheese souffle followed by arancini with seasonal vegetables. Really delicious. The desserts were also delicious and we sampled the mille feuille and a sponge pecan pudding with sticky toffee sauce! All was really well-executed. The experience was wonderful. It was great to be a part of reintegrating ex-offendors and allowing them to hone a trade and mix with the public again, a vital stepping stone to their next chapter in life.

Had a really enjoyable meal at The Clink. The food was delicious and fantastically well presented, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant setting (after we'd made it through the walls, an interesting experience for people unfamiliar with prisons) was warm and welcoming.
