Always good, the fish was particularly excellent today.

Not the best but not the qorst .

Been a few times now when passing, all food always cooked fresh to order. All been good portions. Usually get fish bites chips and curry sauce most recently tried the pizza, not your usually thick greasy chippy pizza, it's a lovely stone baked. I will take photos on my next visit and update

Great fish could do with saying open a bit later than 8 pm got 3 pubs near it

Lovely staff. Big portions and love I can order online and just turn up to collect, way more orderly than the other chip shops

Great wee place went here when on holiday and was the best chippy i have had outside of where i live in scotland. Curry sauce is to die for.

Poor quality food served with no manners from the staff. Go to another chippy there are plenty of better ones in the area.

Just been for fish bites n chips £24 and they absolutely disgusting even the seagulls down Whitley bay light house would not eat them ! Definitely won't be back ! Came from ashington aswell for run out..only good thing was good service from the lass with blonde hair

The service is always warm and friendly. The fish is freshly made to order and always delicious and can never be faulted. Keep up the good work. Best chippy in the North East 👌

20 minutes late and cold had to out it in the oven it's only a 10 minute drive away from the property. Shambles won't be going back as the chips tasted like oil.

On my doorstep (nearly)and I’ve been going to the ones on the seafront A BIG MISTAKE ! Really great cooked fresh huge fish outstanding chips cannot fault THE CHIPPY .Pizzas are very good too everything served by very nice ladies .

Absolutely appalling phoned ahead to pick up wasn't ready .apparently had issues with the pans chips were raw fish had no taste sloppy batter. Staff were canny but won't return

Ordered over the phone. Arrived in shop just.as fish finished cooking . Tasty sweet haddock , crispy chips. A great end of week treat.

Ordered food via phone to pick up. Fish freshly fried to order is beautiful with light crispy batter and comes with tartare sauce if wanted. Chip portions very large....we get one portion between two and is more than enough as fish is huge!

Tried the Pizza's a couple of weeks ago and they were good, then I have this week had haddock it was delicious!!!

A reliable and friendly shop who fry to order. The chips are freshly fried, the batter crisp and the curry sauce spot on. In a family food treat, this is my local chippy.

Twice I've been to this fish and chip shop in recent weeks, and you would have thought that with it being under relatively new management they would have been pulling out all of the stops to make a go of it. Apparently not. The first time I went my chips were clay cold following the three minute walk to my house. Last night, we thought we'd give them another try. Bad move. They never have anything ready other than chips. No pies, no sausage, no bread, no chicken, no nothing - and this at teatime on a Saturday! Added to that the (ahem) 'mature lady' serving had all the charm and charisma of one of the dead cod she was presumably trying to sell - assuming they had any, of course. Walked out and headed off to ifry instead, where the meal and service was again spot on. Well worth the further walk AND it was still hot when we got back. The Chippy on Seatonville Road? Never again!

Never again will I step foot in this place,,stood for 13 minutes and ended up just walking out due to the ridiculous waiting times for EVERYTHING,,don't ask for salt & pepper as that will take 5 minutes

Great chippy, great taste, great staff. Very yummy fish n chips and a nice little touch of bowl free tartar sauce. Deffo reckoned.

Good fish, freshly cooked in a light batter. (Bits on offer if you want more.) Chips also fresh but slightly undercooked for my taste.

New others at the chippy and finally a chip shop that does proper Maris piper potato chips and the batter is the best I've ever tasted!
