as much as food late, we were kept informed. sensational food as usual

Food piping hot, beautiful as always

came 30 mins late, said it was delivered then deliver time changed food was half cold

the fish was wrapped and the wrapper was stuck to it and it wasn't to tasty i would think about ordering again

Well now we can't order from this chippy cause we were on holiday last week and someone delivered food to our address which we didn't order anything so getting a bad review

when i phoned the chippy my order had been delivered to wrong address,...but i must say the chippy staff were fantastic they redone my order and got it to me ASAP....big thank you to the chippy staff, I'd use them again, the chips are the best in Carrickfergus....thank you chippy staff

Definitely the best chippy in Carrick. We don’t do much fast food, but had a delivery tonight and again it was quick, with the chips crisp, seasoned perfectly and the fish bites non greasy and fresh. Best place.

Have to say that was a really great meal tonight, the burger was excellent and the chips were crispy & a big portion.

I have not had anything from a chippy in years. The food was top notch, really generous portion of chips, so I might downsize the next time, perfect if you are splitting. Gravy was just how I remembered it. Order arrived early, everything was hot and well cooked. Drink was missing but the quality of the food more than made up for it. Will definitely be a returning customer.

Batter on mushrooms and goujons was under cooked (soggy, thick paste batter ).Mushrooms were not enjoyable at all, along with the chips and footlong that were overcooked. We also ordered Scampi, chicken wings and a battered cream egg which were all lovely and would order these again.

It's been a while since I was last at the chippy, so we decided to call in and order 2 meals. Very disappointed and won't be back again. Chicken Goujons were poor , skinny and the batter was falling off the chicken. I've had bigger chips than these strips. The Battered Sausages were tasteless and I'm sure you'd get more taste and flavour from eating the polystyrene carton. Chips were stinken. Gravy was like runny watery pooh juice. They're stingy with the salt and vinegar. Poor and a bad experience

Food was warm and delivery was good timing. However, I wasn't that impressed with the burger it wasn't nice and tasted stale and bland. Chips where fine but burger needs work.

£18 for this. Very disappointed. Had from here before and was great but this time around was a let down. The chicken drumsticks could have smashed a window. Curry was cold. Definitely not worth what was paid

Best chippy in Carrick and they do tubs of grated cheese as extras which don't think anyone else does........ love my cheese .Keep up the good work guy's.

It’s not great when you mistake a battered chicken strip for a chip!! I actually laughed when I seen the chicken strips, they were so skinny & small. I’ve had bigger chicken strips from McDonald’s and for £9.50 for a meal, I definitely won’t be ordering from there again.

Not bad but not good. Arrived early and was hot but everything was over cooked and chewy unfortunately. Overall tasted ok and I understand it was a late order on a Friday night but could be better. Orders on this are always hit and miss 🫤

The food is mediocre at best, Got a kids pastie and chicken nugget meal (Seperate) just to find some polystyrene at the bottom to make it look like there's more than it is, food was cold-ish, curry is AWFUL. It tasted like hand sanitiser mixed with cheap curry powder. The friary and Maddies is better in every way. The grill was dusty and unclean. Wouldn't recommend. Patie tastes OK, same with the chips. Also the wait took about 20 mins.

The chips weren’t nice - very hot but a weird chewy taste like they had been cooked already then sat for hours then recooked to go out. I wouldn’t call what I got chicken goujons more like chicken fingers and dry/overcooked. The battered sausage was nice.

Usually a firm favourite of ours, mistakes do happen but it will be a while before we order from here again.

Quite possibly the worst burger i have ever eaten. Ordered a 12oz Cheeseburger... no options for sauce on the burger, meat was dry and rubbery and I eventually found the cheese - 1 tiny small slice of cheese for a 12oz Burger... absolutely pathetic. Gravy was gritty and burnt. Worst chippy in Carrick
