Not impressed with Creed Coffee Carrickfergus Went for lunch today I looked up menu online thought I’ll have chicken Goujons, chips and dip £ 9.99 on there online menu, know mention of different prices in shop, I was meeting my friend for lunch she ordered for me, when I paid for bill £14.95 for the Goujon meal. They just shoved it off online prices are different. I will not be eating in there again I felt ripped off !! Not a big portion size for the money

Staff very friendly, got a toasted wrap and an iced latte. Prices very reasonable, great service. Plastic straws for the iced latte was the highlight of my visit, other people with me was happy and would rate this place with a high star.

I have lived in carrick for 25 years and this was definitely the best fry I have ever had in the area. The ingredients were noticeably better than other eatery’s and it was cooked to perfection which I value the most. It was a little bit more expensive than others but you get what you pay for. I will bring the family with next time to try other items on the menu.

Went for a sandwich and coffee for lunch today, with my wife and she asked specifically a chicken, sweetcorn and mayonnaise sandwich and specifically stayed NO BUTTER, with a one shot latte, we got a sandwich plastered in butter and a coffee that was definitely more than one shot, there was no cutlery, no napkins and tables not cleared. simply couldn't eat what was handed out to my wife as all she could taste was butter and asked one of the young girls if she could take our plates, explained that we asked for NO BUTTER, she took our plates with NO APOLOGIES offered or any explanation, and all the staff had a look at the sandwiches and then placed the tray on a rack to be cleared by the kitchen staff, definitely not worth the over exorbitant price, will not return and would urge anyone else to reconsider visiting here.

Absolutely delicious food, originally thought the price was a bit high but the portions are so sizeable that it’s 100% worth every penny. Very cute and instagrammable inside. Worth the trip from West Yorkshire

Still don't understand the opening hours. We show up at 539 and they say they are closing ..we drove by and there is still people there are 830

Stopped here for coffee recently. We only had coffee and tray bakes, so can't comment on the food. The cakes and tray bakes were lovely and a good atmosphere in the place. Would definitely call again.

Good coffee and nice breakfasts and early evening meals. Nearly always busy. The only negative is parking so pick your time carefully. Just called in after the refurb, extra seating across the front window is better than the high stools, same great coffee tho.

Arrived at 10:55am, didn’t get our food until 11:37am, over 40 minutes for a ham panini. Had church to attend at 11:30 and missed it. Seating is cramped, less than 30cm away from customers on either side of us. Several customers moved from their initial seats. Overpriced. The owners reply makes me regret ever spending a penny here!

Creed coffee never disappoints. The food is beautiful, fresh and flavoursome. Drinks are great! Coffee is beautiful. The staff are friendly and attentive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place for a quick coffee catch up or a nice relaxing meal with friends or family. The recent refurb has enhanced the seating availability. One of my favs places to go.... p.s the strawberry milkshakes 👌🏻

Had the creed club sandwich there was far to much cheese and its all I could taste off it to be honest and charged an extra £1.50 for a small scoop of coleslaw on the side staff where very friendly which is a brilliant shame as its a really nice looking place

My bf and I first entered and thought the place looked great after being redone. We noticed the new electronic food sign which looked great. We also noticed the increase in prices. I thought £7.45 for a wrap was a bit pricey but I'd it comes with a nice salad and is tasty, it's OK price. After my bf ordered, he said he didn't know how it came to £22. When the drinks came (2 tap waters and a cappuccino), the receipt was also attached. My bf said they had charged extra twice on mine and didn't even alert him. So he had paid £7.45 for my wrap, £1.50 for a small side salad, plus an extra £1.50 for a spoonful of coleslaw. We were both shocked that they hadn't said both would be extra and we were charged twice, in particular, for the coleslaw! It was literally a spoonful! The wrap itself was tasty with plenty of chicken but there was minimum tikka sauce and was definitely overpriced as a meal which cost £10.45 in total for a lunch with no chips or drink. Very disappointed and will stick to Ollies from now.

Just called for a bite and a quick brew, and stayed longer than I thought I was going to be. A must visit when you are in Carrick

Creed is always very good 😊 Allow a little time if it’s busy as from getting your order to putting it out can sometimes be a little slow. That having been said, the staff are fantastic and the coffee and food is always brilliant

We were on our way to Giants causeway and stopped roadside to have a coffee. I had an Americano which hit the spot ! I asked for hot milk on the side and they didn’t forget. Also, the Eggs Royale was pretty decent

Opened early for me to have a breakfast.....service was excellent and friendly.

Messed up my order every time, very simple request and they legit don't care or write it down because I'm take away. They seal your order up so you never realise until later. Staff simply took the order and nothing else, no thanks no customer service at all

The food is normally very good and I’ve enjoyed many breakfasts and lunches sat in their cafe. However, following a recent delivery experience, I would strongly recommend against anyone using their takeaway or delivery service, otherwise you’ll find yourself waiting for up to 2 hours like we did…

Waited 50 minutes for literally only a salad and a club sandwich. Drinks arrived 25 minutes before food. Asked waitress could she check where our food was and proceeded to watch them begin to make it only after we asked despite restaurant being quiet as if they forgot our order. Salad then arrived wrong to what we had asked for. Barely any acknowledgement of the fact the food took forever and it was wrong when it arrived. Two young blonde waitresses walking around looking completely miserable, won’t be back.

Lovely place for lunch or a coffee. The food is amazing, tasty tray bakes and a very nice chai latte. Reasonably priced, great atmosphere and very friendly helpful staff.

Waited 18 minutes for a single flat white! Barista kept putting their fingers into all the mugs when lifting off the shelf. Bad experience all round.

Creed is the best food in Carrickfergus. There burgers are awesome. Friendly staff and beautiful food. I can’t wait until our next trip.

Hours don't make sense... Says it open but go in the last three days to be told they are closed. The next night you see them up till 7 pm.. It's all. The time there hours are never the same

My wife and I regularly go here for coffee, but unfortunately it has gone really down hill recently. They appear to have plenty of staff, but service is painfully slow. Today my wife ordered a cappuccino and got a latte instead, an easy mistake to make. What we found hard to believe was that it took them around 15 minutes to make right their mistake. I really don't know why this place has become so bad lately, but if they don't improve their service, I for one won't be going back.

Just a average coffee shop but have been told be a couple of different staff that the owners keep the tips I gave to the staff. Will use one of the other coffee shops in the town instead.

Ordered lunch for delivery between 1 and 1.15. Had not arrived by 1.30 so rang to be told there was another delivery still in front of mine due to driver shortage. Very disappointing as on lunch hour and no time to wait. Why not reject orders if you cannot guarantee delivery when requested.

Lovely place for a coffee. Their coffee is one of the best I've tasted, much better that the big chains. Lovely and smooth.

Nice cafe. Serves a great coffee and reasonably priced. Stood by myself waiting for 9 minutes until I was served eventually. Edit to response: they seemed busy in-between their floss dance moves. But I felt like an idiot and was unsure if I was standing in the wrong place (in front of counter where cakes are). A wee acknowledgement of my presence and maybe 'I'll be with you in a moment' would have been useful 😊 Staff were nice, happy and friendly though.

Decent coffee place. We sat at a table that was recently used and had not been cleared. As we waited for someone to come and clear it they did not. Our order arrived and the young girl thought it was fine to just put our coffees in and around the previous customers empty cups and plates without having the sense to have it cleared before our order arrived. We asked if the table could be cleared first and she said oh yes. She started clearing but it was taking so long we had to help her. By that stage our coffees were lukewarm. I just put that down to a little bit of inexperience. Other than that it was a nice time, we ordered extra coffees and stayed over an hour. Would definitely return.

Only ever sampled the tray bakes but they have a great variety and taste delicious. Like to go there for a coffee and relax in the armchairs catching up with friends. Staff are very pleasant.

Visited on Friday before Christmas. Cafe not busy but staff appeared confused and unattentive. Half order taken then waitress disappeared left standing. Reappeared order placed. Order brought but had to ask for cutlery to eat.

Coffee was outstanding (soy flat white) and the club sandwich was very tasty and big enough to share (if your not starving 😂)

I want to do an update on my review from a year ago. Unfortunately my most recent experience has really put me off coming again. There were some young ladies serving who could do with some training in customer service. They were most unhelpful and had very sullen expressions. They didn't have several of the options my friend wanted eg bagel (at 12.30!) I ordered chai tea but was told they had runout and I joked that I should check what else they were out of before deciding on my order- I was glared at and she snapped'well what do you want" !! my friend at this stage gave up on ordering food and just ordered a cappuccino. At the seating area, the sun was very bright so my friend asked one of these young ladies if the blinds could be pulled down. she replied "I'll ask" and never returned. We then noticed the blinds aren't there any more which is a shame as it was really helpful when they were installed. There was a young man also on duty who was very pleasant when we spoke with him and another gentleman on duty has always been very nice too- I wish it had been either of them serving us. These girls gave the impression they didn't want to be there and wished we weren't there too! The whole experience really put me off - and there are plenty of alternatives to go to in Carrickfergus. I do hope someone in management notices this review and implements some basic customer service training with the staff as it's a real shame their attitude has soured my impression of a previously favourite spot. Another great coffee spot in Carrick. You can preorder your drink to pick up via their app?( I need to double check the process as I haven't done that) which is great. They have tinted the window which faces onto the road which is very helpful as the sun hits that side - much more comfortable for the customer. Very pleasant staff and today we managed to get the lovely seats with multicoloured fabric which are not only very cool but comfortable ( quite a number of the seats at tables are very uncomfortable I find for an old crock like me but there are a number of soft seats as well- choose carefully if you need comfort like me). The only negative I have is the artwork - the brooding, dark , menacing men in flat caps do not enhance my experience but I guess that's personal opinion and I'll just try to not look their way lol) On the plus side there is a wide ranging menu and lots of yummy cakes etc

Went on the basis of generally positive reviews but was just average and quite high prices also..Had the eggs royal with smoked salmon and spinach - it was served quite cold and the spinach was uncooked for some reason which isn't great - not sure why you'd serve uncooked spinach. coffee was quite good. service was fine. would be unlikely to return given other options in the area.

Got soup and crusty, soup was delicious and was still warm. Just what you want on a cold day

This place used to be really great, not sure if it’s been taken over or what, we were in the other day for the first time in a long while, the coffee is still great but waited about 40 minutes for it, they seem to care about their delivery customers more than their sit ins

We haven't been here in a while so decided to give Saturday breakfast a try. It did not disappoint... There was a lovely guy on the till & serving. He was polite and helpful & so was the girl clearing tables. The atmosphere was lovely it was peaceful and not too busy at the time. Then the food was amazing, everything I like in a breakfast, looked and tasted great. We will be back

This was our first time trying creed and what a find the food was amazing !!! I never knew creed served food I thought it was just a coffee shop ,but my girlfriend looked it up on Sunday morning and we couldn't believe the menu she found .We went for the pannies a soup which was delicious,and 2 slices of chocolate fudge cake !! The pannies have to be the best I have EVER tasted everything was perfect even the presentation of the delivery I just wish I had known they served food before and delivered.If I can say anything to creed ,guys get the word out there you do such amazing food I live five minutes from you and I honestly didn't know 🙈keep up the great work you have definitely got new customers

Delivered to me the first time I ordered from it on uber eats. Ordered twice more to have the order sit for over an hour before rejecting my order for being too far away. Needs to be removed from my uber eats. Won't be ordering again.

Absolutely love getting the smashed avocado on sourdough bread I get it every time I go to creed and also for delivery. This time I ordered the honey roast ham salad aswell they did not skimp on the ham was absolutely gorgeous

Astounded at the price of a very basic sandwich. Ordered 2 sandwiches online for collection. Email was very clear and agreed time for collection as well as price being on there, my fault for not checking price as service was good. Sandwiches were very basic, yet 2 sandwiches was £16.10p. Totally astounding considering competitor prices and the quality. I was with a colleague who had recommended this place as I'm not a local, fair to say he's an idiot.

We recently had our baby shower catered by creed. The food was incredible and everyone raved about it all day. We also couldn't fault the service that louise and the team provided from booking the food to delivery for us. It was more than we could of asked for.

Cesar salad made with wilted salad, paid £9 for a wrap and got half a wrap cut in 2 and about 6 tortilla chips. - table not cleared even when food was served so had to eat alongside others leftovers - no urgency with staff, very laxy daisy - 1 star because the food was edible but very disappointed otherwise

Disappointing customer experience - waited 25+ min for 2 x tea, 1 x coffee, 2 x scones and 1 x brownie. When our order arrived, it was wrong! I think that you have overstretched your operation. We witnessed - corporate orders, online orders and casual customers. The place was chaotic, staff didn't know what they were doing

This place is a very nice place to eat or have a drink , I always get a iced coffee with carmelle and it's so nice and great when it's really warm,it's so good I still have it in the winter,I know crazy,that's how good it is,I only have to wait like 2-3 minutes but like 4-5 on a really busy day but it's really good the people there are so nice as well

Tried the new dirty chip in Creed Coffee today. Absolutely amazing from the meat to the sauces, theres a good kick of it. Presentation on delivery was spot on. Good eating in this bad boy! Will Definitely be getting again very soon!!
