So disappointed, a smug grin and condescending attitude meant no sale!! This business has obviously changed hands since I last visited, I was greeted with amusement when I asked about their on-line ‘deals’, apparently the website was the old one and they won’t recognise any deals!

OMG, first time ever trying Chicago pizza, myself, mum and my auntie we all had burger meal 1, 1/4 burger with chips and drink. The burger was absolutely amazing was nice and hot, juicy and delicious. The chips were absolutely amazing is well for £7.50 each it was definitely worth it. I will not go anywhere else now best burger yet. So so happy they have been taking over by a new company absolutely amazing. Where I am pregnant they completely followed my message I put on the delivery note before paying and explained when food was delivered how the meat patties are cooked and that they are freshly homemade, amazing service.

The new owners are amazing and cooked my pizza just how I liked it. He is an amazing guy and will have my business from now on. Great job and keep up the amazing work.

Claim to be under new management so we had high hopes that would have improved. Sadly not! The entire order was wrong, peri chicken was inedible, chips soggy, both pizzas overdone with missing toppings. Had a full refund as the lot went in the bin. You’d imagine they would have made an effort given how bad their reviews are to win customers back, sadly it’s as bad as ever.

Finally we have the best pizza in Tewkesbury in my opinion. The thin crust pizza is very good, I tried the Chicago special and supreme. The twisted fries with cheese and garlic mushrooms are delicious. The only thing I'm afraid of is that the regular priced pizzas are a bit too high for Tewkesbury.

Have order from here twice since take over food was delicious both times, plus the deal there doing is amazing right now! Will be a regular customer from now on a satisfied with the food , delivery time and when I had a problem the customer service was great. Highly recommend to anyone who lives in Tewkesbury or who is visiting

Delivery took over two hours. The food was really not the best. Disappointed :( Ignoring my messages, too... I sent my order number in the chat, and they won't respond to me.

So bad, it shouldn't be allowed to be open. It's got a 1* food hygiene rating for a reason

I can't believe how incorrect they are every time and I don't know why I decided to order pizza from here again! Every time I wait 2 hours for delivery! and every time the pizzas look burnt! I placed an order today at 7:27pm but it still hasn't been delivered! I called twice but no one picked up. I decided to go to the place and ask how it was going...but at 9:50pm they had finished work and the food court was not open.

Food took 2.5hrs to arrive. Rude staff when you call and the food was burnt, dry and pretty much inedible. Only tried as Sugars was closed, never again!

Not too shabby. Need to do deals.

Brilliant pizza!! Crisy base with burned up bit in all the right places, good toppings with the right amount of cheese, the guys who servered us were really lovely and gave us a discount for cash....ignore the bad reviews this place is a hidden gem!!!! Proper crispy, tasty pizza with great staff.

Ordered over a hour an half ago. Just called to ask as still not arrived. Then told order rejected even though money an order shown in both email and online bank. No call to let us know an know no food. Been a regular customer, not anymore.

Awful food- garlic bread and chips soggy, nuggets tasted horrible, pizza just about edible! They rang to say couldn't find us, when they did they charged us £5 delivery on the door! Didn't call to tell us or mention it when they called, made poor delivery driver ask for it! Yes we on a caravan site but only 13 mins away! If I had known £5 delivery I would have collected!

I was expecting a normal pizza that one gets in any High Street and was very pleasantly surprised with the very high quality and great service

Wanted to give it 4 stars as it was expensive and it wasn’t as big I was hoping but my god it was so tasty it deserved a 5 star. Base was fluffy and crusts were chewy which I like. Not at all greasy and the stuffed crust was one of the best I’ve had. Don’t buy from dominoes get from here! I’ve eaten a lot of pizza and this one is definitely up there. They also delivered earlier than just eat said which isn’t bad for a Friday night!

Very poor service. Order at 1710 and the website says 45-60 mins for delivery.... It's now 1855 and still no pizza despite calling at the 60min mark and 90 min point.... Edit - food arrived at 1904 missing the side orders that were part of the meal deal. No offer of any compensation at all. Edit. After calling and complaining the member of staff putting the phone down on me. I also received a phone call asking what I had ordered as their ticket was blank after ordering one of the meal deal options.... Not going to be using them again. Which is a shame as I'd prefer to use local shops rather than national chains.

Best Pizza in town. Support local business won't go anywhere else. Keep going lads!

Ordered two pizzas and some sides, one of the pizzas delivered was the wrong one, but they sorted it out in a reasonable time and let us keep the wrong pizza.

Pizzas generally good, but can be inconsistent. Also the deliveries can be very hit & miss. More recently they have been slower and slower leading us to ring up to find out where it is. Shame there is no tracking service like others

Terrible. Food ordered at 8:30. The take away accepted the order and took the money. Then let delaying the delivery time, and finally did not bother to deliver. Avoid this place, it’s disgusting. No excuse if they were too busy they should have declined the order. Food did not arrive. Could have gone elsewhere had I known. 3 months on. Take away made not effort to contact me regarding this order. I was not offered a free complimentary food order.

Best pizza in Tewkesbury town: the Dallas BBQ or Chicago Special are highly recommendable 🍕 They deliver super fast and the pizzas are fresh out the oven. Give the garlic bread a try, too 🥖 P.S. if ordering online, there are some great Meal Deals for any two pizzas.

Will never use the place again. If your thinking of buying pizza go somewhere that will actually bring your food.

Stay well clear . We rang for a take away at 8.30pm and told it would be 50 minutes, we waited for an hour and a half then rang to be told it was on the way and would be 10 minutes , 2 hours later we rang back to be told to be quite and let him talk he got really aggressive and rude on the phone then tried to make out we told him our house number was 8 and it was our mistake, pretty sure we know what number we live at and it isn't number 8, he then told us we had rang from 01684 land line number when we had rang from a mobil number complete liar , really poor way to run a buisness . Didn't have a clue what he was doing and clearly showed . We won't ever use them again or recommend as too aggressive on the phone when clearly their mistake. Never had any issues with the old owners.

Pizza and sides arrived quick and hot. Tasted great, as good if not better than papa johns which I order ordinarily. Will order again if im in the area

Best in Tewkesbury was my original review, but unfortunately change of ownership and massive rise in prices, no not worth it when other options available with same quality but hugely cheaper. Sorry Chicago, a long serving customer lost.

Ordered on line, order said collection ready in 25 mins, still had to wait for a further 20 mins and seamed like madness in there (girl on the counter even had to start cooking some of my order when I arrived at collection time) pizza was nice but cheesy garlic bread may aswell of come out of a packet from tescos ( sliced French stick so ignore the pictures they use on menu 🤷‍♂️) probably stick to domino's over road In the future

Used to be great but lately they gone right downhill. Order a stuffed crust= barely any cheese in the crust, last 3 times ordered from here took 2 hrs to arrive

Had pizza delivered over a week ago and was wrong, had tomato base and I requested none on the pizza, was told they will send another which never showed up, rang them at 10.40 and they apologised and said would refund the 20.79 and send a free pizza next time, at this time it was to late to order anything else so went to bed feeling hungry. Ordered a small pizza last week and told the chap on the phone that it should be free, he said OK, the driver turned up and we had to pay for the pizza. So no refund, no free pizza and not answering my message I sent. Dont get me wrong we have used chicargo pizza for years and only ever had the wrong pizza turn up but on this occasion we are really dissapointed. Update, had my free pizza on Saturday night and was spot on and really nice. 5 stars for this pizza. Ive changed to 3 from 1 stars as was dissapointed with the first mishap.

Made order at 8:30 Friday night. Mop fair on but that’s no excuse. Took money and didn’t attempt to fulfil order! No excuse! If they were so busy they should not have accepted the order. Absolutely disgusted in this take away.

Genuinely, the best pizza we've ever eaten & the staff are very lovely and helpful. Unfortunately we had a mix up with our order, but it was quickly resolved and they apologised for the error. Highly recommended to anyone!! 🍕

Extremely poor service and attention to detail. Missing items from delivery today-item sent out however took over half hour to get the full order delivered This was the second delivery issue we have had in 3 weeks, with the previous order taking 2 1/12 hours to be delivered and 3 phone calls. Cold and inedible when it arrived. Pizza is very greasy that when you take a bit the entire topping slides off.

Nothing special, and also, if you're ordering then make sure you know the prices before placing your order so you're not over charged.

Just had a quarter pounder with cheese and bacon, salad and sauce ratio was spot on, cooked perfectly and hot. Also had an Oreo milkshake, which although a little pricey, well and truly a taste sensation. Fast, hot, well presented and extremely tasty food. Would highly recommend.

Had a very tasty chicken burger, cooked very well and tender. Fast service and friendly service. I would recommend the chicken burger with chips.

Pizzas are good with lots of toppings. Face masks not worn properly on two members of staff and the other two not actually wearing them. Another customer a ordered a bottle of coke which is £1.50 and the chap gave back the 50p.

Chicago Pizza can be hit & miss like everywhere depending on who cooking & I like 2 support local businesses especially at the moment. Tonight our Pizza was very good. Tasty,great value 4 money. OK it's no Italian pizza but 4 takeaway fast food it great. Fast service & when we have had a problem they have always been polite & sorted it out w either store credit or travelled out 2 rectify the issues.

Ordered some bbq chicken wings tonight and ended up chucking 3 portions due to being so fatty/slimey they was awful...waste of money!!

Worse takeaway I have had ever would never recommend to anyway run the other way chicken was so dry I needed as much mayo I could get on it and still only managed half a piece still starving

Great deep pan and thin crust pizzas. We have a large 14" Hawaiin with 9" Garlic pizza with cheese generally. Much better than Dominoes in our opinion.

Food came with no bags, missing sauces, removed our drinks of water off the order gave us Diet Coke instead then come and took the cokes back said they was for another order also the delivery driver was half way inside my house during this pandemic! No face mask no gloves passed my food to me just in styrofoam packaging for burgers ect do not eat from here

Rude service when having food delivered. Won't be ordering from you again. I was getting moaned at that it was too late when you was clearly open. I ordered 1 hour before closing?! But I'll ignore the amount of times they turned up at my door with missing food items that I turned a blind eye too.

Don’t know what happened with these two pizzas we had tonight I’ve bought of them for years of Chicago they was well cremated not good and very thin and chewy I don’t mean to slag them off they over the years been 1st class what happened

Ordered a pizza in time and they were happy to deliver. Although they have been to my house about 5 times, I received a call from the pizza place saying that it was a new driver and then was told by the shop that it was closed and too late to get my pizza delivered. I will never order from here ever again. Next time I would just go to dominos instead. It doesn’t always pay to support local businesses and try and help them.

Me and my partner ordered a pizza and then they called back saying the driver couldn’t find the house so he went back and our pizza wasn’t delivered. I called them up and they were very rude and the customer service was absolutely disgusting. He said to me “ The driver can’t find the house and so he came back. We don’t know when the pizza will come to you. Actually you know what we are not going to give you the pizza, see you later”. My partner hadn’t had dinner so he ordered it. Absolutely ridiculous and we won’t be ordering from there every again!!!!

Friday night, web order: ordering dot letsorderfood dot co dot uk Thought I'd asked for veggie for the wife & meat pizza with loads of extras & changes for me. Arrived about 40mins later & no veggie, but alcapone with extra ham instead. (Didn't check on the doorstep, as watching film). ALWAYS CHECK ON DOORSTEP - You're welcome. Phoned & on busy Friday night the guy confirmed my order. My complicated meat pizza was correct, with all changes, so I have no idea how I ordered a straight forward veggie pizza wrong, as even check with mrs before I sent. But after he spent time going through whole thing, he confirmed what I wanted and simply sent the driver back half hour later to swap pizzas FREE OF CHARGE. He even sent my printed order to show what came through his end. How's that!? And, my pizza (which I guiltily ate in front of my mrs lol) was exceptional. I know it's pizza & not Gordon Ramsey, but it was one of the best I've ever had; fantastic. I'll be keeping order for next time . Highly recommend Chicargos' on all counts. Genuine problem - not his fault and he went extra mile to keep customer happy. Simple. And when the veggie arrived, it was covered in fresh veg and was as nice as mine. (I finished it cold in the morning). Nom. Thanks.

Disappointed doesn’t even come close, the pizza was over 30 minutes late. We tried calling the shop for an explanation, no one answered. We even drove down to the shop to ensure it was open and we hadn’t been scammed. The man in the shop didn’t care less, instead of apologising he began arguing with us that our food had been delivered when it clearly hadn’t been. He went on to say that the driver was on the way to our house and that he would be a further 15mins. Bare in mind we live less than a mile from the shop! When the food eventually arrived they needn’t of bothered. The sides were had sweated in the packaging and were in a pool of water, some over cooked and others under in the same package. The pizza had been squished against the lid of the box so all the toppings and cheese was on the lid with little to nothing on the pizza.

I have lived in theTewkesbury area for over eighteen years now but never tried Chicago Pizza before (stupid me) would often hear great about it things from people but it never really appealed to me, I dont know why but just didnt! Two weeks ago we ordered pizza from Dominoes and had such a bad experience we thought what the hell, lets try Chicago for a change, surely it cant be worse than what we had from Dominoes on the previous occassion! We took the plunge and ordered four large pizza's two thin base and two thick base, 2 pepperoni passion, 1 al capone and 1 hawaiian (no pineapple) wow, wow, wow, what a surprise, the pizzas arrived piping hot and were delicious beyond belief, I am talking about the BEST pizza I have ever had in the UK, I have eaten pizza all over the world and in particular the USA where Rays pizza in New York is considered by many (including me) the best on the planet, well Chicago you are not far behind Rays!!! I rate this pizzeria 5 gold stars, the food is Amazing, Stunning, Brilliant, Fantastic and I cant recommend highly enough, please dont waste your money on other pizza restaurants in the area because this is by far the BEST. Thank you Chiago

Good value for money, much tastier than pizza from the takeaway chains. Loads of cheese and toppings. Although stuffed crust is not mozzarella... The young boy in there is lovely and so are other staff. Would highly recommend

Pizza tasted great, prices good, but the staff looked like they were about to be put to death, cheer up guys... Also no hygiene rating on obvious display.

Pedí un 9 "finas de California y una de 9" de Chicago. Me pareció que la entrega fue lento, pero dentro de los 30 minutos a una hora.

These pizzas are really great, seriously good at a very reasonable price. Their delivery service is reliable and relatively quick. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Chicago pizza is far superior to Dominos - would always choose the small independent trader above the large chain - good quality pizza - No problems with the orders. Definitely our pizza take out of choice.
