Everything about the Chester keeps us coming back time and again. Service, friendly and caring staff, great ales and brilliant entertainment. Love it. Thanks to Andy and the team, a real gem can be found here - no brainer, go and see for yourself!

The Chester tavern is my happy place! Great staff, who always welcome us with a smile, and always manage to find us a seat even when it's very busy. Incredible selection of beers both on draft and in cans, and excellent knowledge of them to make recommendations. A good range of spirits to go with them too! They have live music at least twice a week, and a variety of other events too. Had a great time at the recent rum and gin festival sipping cocktails out of a coconut shell cup 😁 Can't speak highly enough of it here. Give it a chance once and you'll be back again soon after...

Favourite pub in this area of the Midlands, welcoming atmosphere, good variation of drink with something new and interesting each visit. Cobs are very nice also!

Great staff! Spoke to Andy, he recommended me some great craft ales! nevertheless this spot has a little something for everyone! All round cracking spot! recommend highly! Plenty space to sit and the food hits the spot!!

Lovely little pub, very welcoming. Really good selection of drinks on offer, and we enjoyed sitting in the beer garden with the dog. Good selection of bar snacks (the vegetable samosa is delicious) and they sometimes have a local smoke house come and provide their mobile catering too.

Visited here last night with family. The pub is very very clean and tidy and the garden area not a ciggerrete end in site. Great selection of drinks and food, the atmosphere was great and welcoming. I had to take my young daughters to the toilets a couple of times and usually I dread this as disabled / baby change toilets in pubs are disgusting but was shocked that the toilets here were spotless! For a parent with 2 young girls, having a pub with nice clean facilities is great. I would definitely recommend this pub and will sure be back. Great Job 👍 guys see you again soon.

Great new addition to the pub scene in Kidderminter. Craft beers on tap and in cans, plus local real ales. Staff happy to bring drinks to our table upstairs which was a nice touch. Food looked good aswell but didn’t personally eat here. Will be back for sure.

Moved to Kiddi around 7 months ago and the Chester tavern (chessie tavs) has become our favourite place for a drink. Andy and the team are warm and welcoming and always letting us try the new sour beers. Love it here. 10/10!!!

I've walked past The Chester Tavern many times but Saturday was the first time we've had the chance to call in. As soon as we entered we felt right at home, the atmosphere was great and everyone was friendly and welcoming. The bar has a fantastic selection of spirits, it may take me a while to work my way through their whisky selection - but it's a task I'm happy to take on! We will be back, but don't be like me and walk past, call in, you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous real ale and craft beer

This is a proper little pub. I came here for the first time in 30 years last night. It has been fully refurbished and is a pleasure to go and have a drink in now. There is a good choice of beers and a good choice of Gin if that is your thing. Give the place a chance. You will not be disappointed.

Scotch eggs to die for Guinness to die for Staff are polite and attentive Blessed to have as a local. Highly recommended.

The scotch eggs are to die for and they have a fantastic array of sauces to try with them. Always something for everyone whether it's drinks or entertainment!

Comfortable pub with a very friendly landlord and a well kept ever changing variety of ales. Sadly this pub does have a clique of obnoxious people who constantly hog the bar.

Visited twice now since reopening and will be back frequently. They have done a fantastic job with the refurb and have a good selection of ale, craft beer and snacks. Parking not ideal but easy enough.

A recently reopened public house. Open from 11am in the morning. Beer good and reasonably priced. Atmosphere good and staff efficient and friendly.

Fantastic new local, staff are really friendly, refurbed to a high standard. Great garden for the summer and looks like it will be cosy in the winter with the log fire. Always busy now and live music on often, beer is great. New owners have done a great job
