Really enjoyed popping in here for a few light meals on our cycles. We went for the fish and chips today and the portions were frankly enormous. We half struggled to cycle home. The fresh tarter sauce was great. I had white bait on a previous occasion and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back for that. Excellent beer too. They clearly are fastidious with their pumps and serving. All in all, not so cheep but the quality is worth it. Great service too. Recommended.

Fantastic village pub with a great garden and added bonus of an outside bar that also does the best cocktails at a great price. Happy hour 3 till 7 Mon to Fri is a bonus when you finish work and fancy a beer. Great atmosphere and the staff are very happy and helpful. Leon's food is delicious 😋

27 High StreetExceptionally good meal. I've been here before and the food is reliably good - really good choice, well prepared - I had the sausage with poached egg to start and the venison to follow. OMG - absolutely brilliant! But that's not why I'm writing this review. Big mention for Daisy, who served us. Probably the best service I've ever received & all credit to her - attentive but not obtrusive, willing to go that extra mile to ensure it was a good evening. For example, I'm fussy about my cheeses - Daisy went back & forth to the kitchen to find a selection I like, and they were DELICIOUS. Daisy - you delivered with charm & attentiveness & you're a credit to your profession. Thank you

4 St. Peters StreetStopped in for lunch after a trip to the museum. Food was fresh and delicious, and servings were huge. As a vegan I paired the salad with garlic bread, and it was so delicious. The salad was loaded with perfectly ripe avocado and fresh greens. I also had a slice of vegan chocolate cake. The portion was very good, and the cake wasn't cloying sweet. Highly recommend!
