Tom Yung soup good, rest of the meal very average. Claggy, lumpy fried rice, red Thai curry tasted of caramel. Staff arguing amongst themselves and abrupt with customers. Best give this one a swerve.

Authentic Thai food. The real deal.

Came to the chef Thai for our anniversary. The food was absolutely phenomenal! My partner is so fussy with his food and he said his food was one of the best he’s had and tasted perfect! We will definitely be eating here on more regular basis! Billinghursts little Thai gem! Food impeccable, service 2nd to none! Highly recommend!

Heard such great things about this place and it certainly did not disappointing. A wonderful welcome and the food was the best Thai food I have tasted. Amazing, mixed starter was beautiful! All things tasted different and all had their own flavour. Main was again, amazing. Service was great & banana fritter is 100% worth a try! Bloody lovely! Would hugely recommend this place!!

We have lived in billingshurst for years but we tried this restaurant first time tonight as a date night and my god the best Thai food ever, the vegetable tempura and prawn toast soo yummy and the pad Thai is amazing , people are friendly and very reasonable price !! We will definitely be coming here again whether it be a takeaway or sit down !! Such yummy food

Went last Saturday with work colleges. The best Thai restaurant I have been too. Food was outstanding real authentic cuisine. Wonderful hospitality, they know how to look after you. Can't wait to go back, definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend xx

Food was amazing - lots of variety and dietary options. Staff were lovely and we had to switch a few bits of the meal due to an allergy and they were so helpful. Fab cocktails! Need an excuse to go back!

I really would like to keep this Thai a secret but it would be unfair to deprive others of the experience! Honestly this is probably the best Thai restaurant you will find all the staff are so friendly, the food will tantalise your tastebuds But you will need to book it’s so popular and I’m not helping by telling you all to go and try it ! You won’t be disappointed trust me

Home to the worlds spiciest pad thai apparently. Partner doesnt like spicy in the slightest but i do. Informed the waiter 1. " i really like spice and ive just tryed her pad thai and its really really hot" 2. " no no its not spicy", there no chilli 1. " it is spicy, please try some, i enjoy spicy food and this is really hot" 2. " no no its not spicy, no spice " £7 sevice charge Cool story.

Was lucky enough to be in Billingshurst this weekend and experience the wonderful food of The Chef Thai Billingshurst. The food is fresh and cooked really well. I had the crispy chilli duck with sweet chilli sauce which was amazing. The service was excellent, efficient and always with a smile. The restaurant is small and very popular, so make sure you book advance. Loved it so much, we ate there twice in three days.

Ordered takeaway on Saturday evening - a rather large order as having a family get together for a birthday. Very polite on the phone. Arranged collection, it was ready and piping hot on collection. Everyone loved their food - really tasty and fresh and hot. Really impressed. Will definitely visit again a nd maybe sit in next time

Have to say all the dishes we had last night were very good - the Thai Chef is maintaining its usual high standard.

First time I ve been. Went for lunch. Was full and the atmosphere was superb. Waited on quickly , drinks and food served very promptly. Food was amazing. So tasty. Went with some people from Hong Kong who loved it. Will go again very soon

What a lovely Thai restaurant. Not from the area but Billingshurst is half way between my home and my daughters home. She wanted Thai. It did not disappoint. The staff were lovely and attentive, the food was beautiful as Thai food is. The squid temura was spot on and presented beautifully. My daughters Tom Yum was very much to her liking. The main dish was huge. Thai red curry and special rice. I got a doggy bag. If you like Thai, and can visit this place is highly recommended and with parking directly outside you simply cannot fault it.

The staff and owners are so lovely, and the Head chef Tony cooks as authenticity as you wish...my favourite Thai restaurant by far :)

We have had a lot of Thai food in the UK, but this is certainly 1 of the most authentic Thai restaurants that we've been to. Prices are affordable as well. It would have been nice if they could be more generous with their Tom yum portion, but it certainly won't deter me from going back there again.

We’d never been here before but fancied Thai and remembered there was a restaurant in Jenglers Mead. The staff were all incredibly friendly. The food was fantastic and really good value. I had the chicken yellow curry, veg pad Thai and we shared some veg spring rolls and veg fritters. All tasted amazing! Looking fwd to going back!

I’ve been going here for years. Whether eating in or a takeaway. The food is always incredible and the best Thai I’ve ever had. Everything is so fresh & full of amazing flavours. It’s the best food of any takeaway in West Sussex. The staff are the best restaurant staff I’ve ever known, you feel like a friend not a customer. They remember what you drink, how you like your food & make you feel so welcomed & valued. Even when the restaurant is packed you never have to wait too long & your glass is never empty. Can not recommend enough!

Our first visit to this excellent Thai restaurant in Billingshurst. We visited on a quiet Wednesday evening. Inside it has a nice, welcoming feeling. There is a a well stocked bar and the staff are very friendly. Excellent menu with all staples plus a few nice surprises. I missed the special board but was not disappointed with the Thai fish cakes to start and stir fried crispy pork for mains. My wife had the Tom Yum soup followed bt the Green Curry. All dishes were delicious and good value for money. Take away service was doing a roaring trade. Well worth a visit to eat in and sample the atmosphere or if you fancy a take out, complementary wine/beer are given when you have spent a certain amount.

I’ve just moved to Billingshurst and have had a takeaway from here on 2 occasions when friends have been visiting. We’ve all been very impressed with the food. The portions are very generous and there’s always something leftover to have the next day. Only problem for me is I don’t drive so would only order when I have a friend over with a car. I really wish they delivered as I’d definitely order more often if they did.

Best Thai in West Sussex. It is a brilliant takeaway and small restaurant for those visiting. Would recommend anyday.

Fantastic restaurant. As someone who cooks alot of Asian recipes at home this place really stands apart from other Thai restaurants. Authentic delicious dishes with top class service every time. Enjoyed the cod cheek curry last night which was on special and it was devine. Even better was the Pandan cake for dessert. Highly highly recommended.

Just wow...travelled 18 miles to visit this place because of reviews and boy did it not disappoint. Service was A+, authenticity A+. you will not be disappointed. the pictures of set menu was what we went for 2 people and was enough for 4. The staff were more than happy to package the remaining for us.

By staying true to their culture, as opposed to catering for the local palate, this restaurant has created the most authentic Thai dining experience I have come across in the UK. The quality and intricacy of the dishes combined with a refreshingly customer focused service sets this place apart from the rest. I can’t recommend Thai Chef enough.

Ordered a takeaway from thai cuisine last night. Ive eaten in many different places and I have to say this is without doubt cooked with care and attention. Far superior to the chain lemongrass. You can tell straight away from the flavours that this is special.
