Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, we were in as a part of 8, all the food came out at the same time all hot and delicious, Definitely will be back.

You can’t miss this place! This restaurant has delicious food, amazing service, the waitress, chef, the owners are wonderful and lovely persons, they were beyond attentive and warm. I went there to have a meal before joining a vessel and they were super kind and friendly with me, if I board a vessel again in Fraserburgh. I’ll make sure to go and try another of their delicious dishes, highly recommend! Thanks for all your kindness 🫶🏼! I wish for more persons like you:)

Unfortunately I can't give more then 5 stars. But 5 stars are definetly not enough for this restaurant! The staff is absolutly welcoming and friendly, but not because they have to. But because they are geniunly like that! And the food is just outstanding! Whoever visits Fraserburg MUST see the "Captain's Table"!

Very tasty food, great dessert. Totally friendly staff, ambience and cleanliness top. Rarely have I seen such a beautiful and clean toilet. If I'm in the area again, I know where to go.

The food was lovely & fresh friendly staff puddings to die for couldn't decide between the apple n cinnamon crumble or the cheese cake so had the crumble there and took cheese cake home feeling very stuffed and can't wait to eat my cheese cake Tomorrow ❤️

This is the most amazing restaurant I have ever been to. It is a family run restaurant with amazing food. We stayed and talked for hours. I had fish and my wife had a steak. No one ever gets my wife's steak right, but her steak came out perfect the first time. Everything was cooked to perfection. Everyone that comes in is treated like you are so special. We will be back as it feels we made friends there that day. And, hopefully, they will visit us in Portugal. This is a place that you must visit if ever in the area. You won't regret it.😊

Our first visit to The Captain's Table as we were staying in Fraserburgh on holiday, we rang and prebooked our table, glad we did as it is a really popular restaurant. Check out the specials as they vary depending on 'catch of the day' so you truly cannot get any fresher. Fabulous family atmosphere, relaxed and nothing was too much for our server,excellent service, checked with us if everything was ok or if we needed anything but didn't hover so you're able to enjoy your meal. Our scallops, haddock and steak were cooked to perfection, a selection of sauces for your steak, I recommend the Drambui sauce it was delicious, we didn't have a dessert as we'd had a starter so could not manage anything else. The desserts we saw others having looked amazing, again check the specials as these can vary too. I'd happily book another meal here without hesitation and would say to all...call ahead and prebook or you may miss out, a true gem, well worth a visit.

Can't recommend the captains table enough. Fantastic service, we're brilliant with my 2 grandsons keeping them amused & letting them help crush cans. Nothing was too much bother. And the food was amazing 😁 Thank you 😋😋😋

Staff couldn't do enough for us. From the minute we walked in the door they were friendly and pleasant. The meal was delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Fraserburgh

Took my family for an evening meal and had a superb experience. Very friendly waiter service, a very talented chef and terrific food to boot. The surf and turf was tasty, brilliant batter on the onion rings, lovely crisp chips and a tasty steak all cooked to perfection. The desert, ab aero mint cheesecake was quirky but worked beautifully and had a nice dollop of vanilla icecream. The best restaurant I've been to in 2023, if not in Scotland and will surely visit again.

If there were ten 🌟 I would award all of them. Absolutely wonderful, fun, service. Our two wee dogs loved the pampering and the food was absolutely delicious. We are hoping to book again in two days before we head south. We have travelled all of this wonderful country of Scotland over the years and the quality of food has never ceased to amaze me. The Captain's Table is right up there! Wonderful!

Great atmosphere , the staff are bubbly people - the waiter is great at advising on places to see if you're here for a getaway for sightseeing and places of rich history. Food was of high quality , fresh and delicious. The seating area is laid out perfectly, not cluttered with perfect bits of art on the wall.

Incredibly fresh and delicious fish, best fish & chips and the chef's toffee pudding is the best thing ever ! Everyone was SO kind and joyful.... A truly wonderful moment. 100% recommend !!!

I had a recommendation for this place and I wish I had not listened to it. My starter was bland,cold and wet. My main was over cooked,my beef was grey, my veg was a pile of mush, the dessert was ok. Do yourself a favour and just don't go ☹️

I went yesterday to have lunch with my husband and we were super surprised by the friendliness and the amazing food. We ordered soup for starters which were to die for and the haddock for mains. We loved it!!! Very happy we have discovered such an amazing place in Fraserburgh. If you want to experience a warm atmosphere and amazing food don't hesitate to visit The Capitan's table. Can't wait to come back !!!!!

The food was excellent, especially the fish and the soup. Recommend trying the specials. We tried the specials for the started and ordered 2 maine for 4 persons, because the portions are pretty filling.

Absolutely wonderful food...I didn't want my prawn cocktail to end ..just amazing Owners were such lovely people and staff couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome. To top it all its dog friendly and our dog was spoiled to bits. Will we go back? Try and stop us!!!

The best Cullen skink and smoked haddock & poached egg. Lovely friendly staff. Would highly recommend visiting and we shall definitely return. They accommodated us for a late lunch after visiting Fraserburgh lighthouse.

Went this afternoon and had a lovely chicken katsu curry. The cullen skink was wonderful, too. My husband will have fond memories of the sticky toffee pud for years to come. The staff and chef were fantastic, though, and while many places have nice food, not all places have such welcoming and friendly staff. They really made the difference.

Estuvimos hace dos semanas y tengo que reconocer que nos sorprendió muy gratamente encontrar este restaurante en un pueblo que parece estar fuera de las rutas turísticas. Es un restaurante muy limpio y acogedor, incluidos los baños que a veces son terroríficos, destaco que en el cuarto de baño de las chicas hay detalles que hay que agradecer cuando nos surgen ciertos imprevistos (también el mensaje de la puerta de retrete). Se agradece probar una cocina local que se salga del habitual fish and chips. Yo probé Lobster Pot y estaba muy rica y fresca. El trato inmejorable, muy recomendable

Best Fish and chips I have ever had. Amazing service and just an all round brilliant place. Must visit restaurant if you are in the north east of Scotland. Plus Fraserburgh is a beautiful place.

Haven't had scollops for over 20 years and this place has made me regret not having more of them! Fantastic and full of flavour bringing you a heartwarming experience beside the sea. Tried the main creamy Cajun chicken: Great balance of spice and flavour and not too thick on sauce, giving you an option of rice or chips or both! Chicken very tender and blended so well with the peppers and not overpowering, perfectly balanced, rustic and homemade dish. Black Forrest cheesecake was delicious, really nice and filling. Had a look at the sticky toffee pudding which also looked fantastic. If you have a sweet tooth this place is lovely for desserts. Their homemade fish cakes provide good value for buck, very filling and their blue cheese sauce very tasty, I'm personally not a fan for cheese and fish together but it was a very good combination, fish cake fans be surprised! Staff extremely friendly and felt very welcomed, great place to experience wether it's the taste of the sea and to simply have nice fresh feel good food with a fair value on price. Would definitely come here again with friends and family.

This restaurant deserves 5stars ++ everything is cleaned over chairs, tables, and mats once you leave. Glasses are clean, hot good fresh food, delicous food - starters, main and desserts. We ate a few times whilst in the town and keep going back. All food is sourced from local farmers and butchers, and made on the premises. Nespresso coffees, and a large selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks, are available. The kids menu is fresh made and reasonable prices. The cleanest toilets I have been in ever!! Nothing is too much trouble for this restaurant and staff - they also let out their 3 bed flat 'The Upper Deck', it's a must! Beautiful fresh clean bedding and immaculately clean inside. It can be booked through the captains table or on air bnb, the beds are so comfortable, washing machine, TV, microwave etc, don't take my word for it check it out yourself, but remember they get booked up quick so if your up that way book a table in advance! You won't be disappointed.

Probably one of the best sea food restaurants in North East. The place is super clean and hygienic. Tried Cullen skink, langoustine bruchetta, battered haddock, fish cake and stuffed mushrooms and every single thing was amazing 👏
