Had a great day with friends in the Caledonian bar Carluke

Tennents was flat and stinking. Left a full pint it was so bad. Probably won't be back again.

Was very quiet, my meal was nice, a lot of it. Service was good.

Food was distasteful and overpriced. Just a plate of soggy fried food. The chef John was very unhelpful and too later discover he himself has left a review for this place sums it up, Fake advertising. Wouldn’t waste money in here again better off eating anywhere else.

The staff and chef in the gallery and very friendly and warm, food is amazing all homemade the chef also went out his way to make my friend a vegan dish to accommodate her diertry requirments will most definitely be back .

What can I say...just excellent! I’m vegan & called ahead to ask if it would be possible to have something suitable to eat. Jon the chef was amazing & came to our table when we arrived & explained what he was going to cook for us (my cousin is vegan too) we had a beautiful Moroccan stew, absolutely delicious! It’s so difficult to eat out locally if you are vegan so this was a lovely treat. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks Jon & we will definitely be back 😊

Have dined in the restraunt on several occasions and can only praise the food and the service which I was treated to each time. Menu has a wide selection to cater for all and have a great choice for kids aswell, myself and my family have always enjoyed all we have ordered. I strongly recommend a visit if in the area to judge for yourself but I don't think you will be disappointed.

Been here a few times with family and friends, and the food has always been delicious. Couple of friends with intolerances were catered to with no question and we'll definitely be back again! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area

On a previous visit for dinner here, my wife and I had a chance conversation with John, the chef. During our chat, he revealed that he had worked in several Edinburgh restaurants, where his speciality was fish dishes. Being pescatarian, we were delighted to hear this and he agreed to organise a 'fish night' for us. We have now had two 'fish nights' and he more than proved his skill. We have already made reservations for our next culinary delight.

Had a splendid meal on both occasions of having eaten here. I would recommend and will be back......

came here for a family meal as we heard a good few things about the food.... so we thought we would give it a go... defo defo not dissapointed... firecracker chicken one word.. amazing... will defo be back

Great menu , fab food , 3 courses for 9.95 incredible, and plenty of choice within each of these courses. Definately be back 😊

My wife and I recently dined in the 'Gallery Bistro' of this public house. From the outside, it is typical of any 'local', [entrance to bistro via side door] but we were delighted and surprised to find that the dining experience was of high order - quality / selection of cuisine, staff friendliness and overall service made for a very pleasant evening. Based on our findings we can recommend and will definitely be returning.
