Visited this morning for breakfast while waiting for items in auction. Staff very friendly, helpful and ‘know their stuff’. My breakfast was cooked separately to avoid cross contamination and brought to my table in separate tray. Gluten free bread, dairy free spread.

The new auction house is great, plenty of room and car parking, I just let down by the food had a large bacon roll bacon was already cooked not very nice and just 2 pieces , for the price not worth it, next time I’ll just stick to the auction

I regularly visit the cafe at Peacocks. The food is consistently good and reasonably priced. They’re family friendly - my little boy loves it here! The staff in the cafe are all lovely too. The jacket potatoes are my favourite. The cakes are always good and there’s a nice selection too!

Have been to the Cafe on auction day and on viewing days. The food is excellent along with the service.I have the GluteFree roll with bacon. Absolutely lovely. They are very careful with Gluten Free foods and are extremely professional in all aspects of this.

We are always made welcome, food is great. Quick service and Gluten Free options. Lady with blond hair in a pony tail was really bubbly and happy to advise on the gluten free cake.

Just popped in for a drink and a bite to eat in the ‘new’ restaurant. It was like a ghost town with no available staff to serve me. Couldn’t find any one to pay so left empty handed. No means of getting anyone’s attention so obviously not keen to give service for a late lunch in the week. Looked good but lacked something- staff maybe.

The whole auction is in new premises, and was opened only a year ago. The cafe is on the first floor with huge windows overlooking the auction area, so the view itself is interesting while you eat. The cafe itself is clean, comfortable, and quite large enough to cope with the considerable number of people down below. The ladies behind the counter were very pleasant, cheerful and helpful. The tables were regularly cleared and cleaned. A wide range of cafe choices were available to cope with the differing needs of customers throughout the day. The full english (or elements thereof) looked very nicely cooked and presented. The leek and potato soup (made with actual leeks and actual potatoes) was very nice, as was the hot sausage roll, but other people's choices of paninis and baked potatoes also looked good. The ladies in charge of the cafe clearly take pride in their work.

We eat and drink here regularly when viewing at or attending one of the auctions. The food and drinks are fine and the staff are always cheerful and chatty. The menu gets a bit repetitive and a couple of ‘specials’ on would be nice. It is clean and convenient. Try it....

Disappointed with environment. Not inviting. Limited products but with huge slices of cake (great if you like cake) but lacking in decent scones and cookies. Tea was ordinary.

We nipped in just to have a bit of a nose and stayed for lunch.the coffees were nice , but it is an old school cafe , where you have to wait whilst they make each coffee. The food was cooked from fresh, didn’t take that long and we all enjoyed it .

A lovely old-fashioned pub but well up to speed with coeliac needs. The Sunday lunch was delicious and I enjoyed gluten free Yorkshire Puds! What a treat! They even did separate gluten free gravy. Generous portions and good service. This was our second visit and we will definitely be back.

Pizza was fantastic, my partner got gluten free and it was by far the best gluten free pizza base she’s ever had, the texture of the base was spot on, it was almost identical to my regular pizza. Will definitely be going back. Really good price, £23 for two pizzas

Had salmon and avocado on toast was extremely tasty, service was quick and efficient and they do a large range of winter coffees which we really enjoyed
