The Bun & Barrel in Birmingham

Banging tunes and a really nice drink and two for one on a Sunday. Popped in after doing a bit of shopping in bearwood and I’d seen the signs before and thought why not next time, so today I popped in and it was two for one on pints. Really relaxed atmosphere with the tiumws from Blur Oasis Pulp MSP and others so yes I’m glad I came in

Nice cheeky cheese steak. Cheese and bacon burger nice beefy patty but no other flavour. Dirty fries gloopy and flavourless. Chicken tenders very nice if they were a chicken tender focussed restaurant id be more excited about the food.

Sad to hear of the closure. Even sadder to hear that it was potentially illness related. Hope that they get well soon. Keeping our fingers crossed that B&B can reopen. Best Burger I’ve ever tasted, and I have had some good ones.

Excellent spot. Really friendly service. Great selection of local beers. Banging burgers and sides, cant go wrong here. Petition to put the Korean chicken strips on the menu permanently xox

Friendly, great music, super food. Burgers were amazing and the chicken strips were yummy. We all had different burgers so we could cut and swap. The cod burger was light and tasty. I had the ooh la la which had brie, mustard, truffle mayo and sweet chutney, it was super. Also free pool on a Sunday sovwe stayed for another beer.x
