The quality of the food was really good, tha carvery was excellent, so was the other meals we had.

Stopped to see if they could fit us in.. the place was busy, but they worked their magic, managed to find us a table, had an amazing carvery, very much needed after our busy morning. The food was fresh, proper home cooked, plenty of fresh vegetables, the meat was tender and very tasty. Delicious, will defo go back. Our server Scout was so genuine, really friendly and helpful. Just added to the experience.

Breakfast was, Fabulous!!!! And still is 12 months on!!!!!

It's always very busy, I only come here when I visit my friends in the area, but food is always nice, we got a table today on a sat, they pre booked it for us, date of this visit 12th April 25.

You'll have to search far and wide to find a better carvery. Excellent vegetables and the beef is sublime.....highly recommended @

Carvery is always good quality and value for money

Food was delightful, shame there's no pea's for the carvery. Staff were friendly and it had a lovely atmosphere. Will definatley return soon

Lovely food and customer service

Lovely family Sunday evening meal. Six adults two children and two babies. Meat was tasty. Vegetables very fresh and well presented. Staff very friendly. Excellent value for money for a Sunday carvery.

Great meal here today for father in laws 85th. He and MIL had carvery, I had the chicken and bacon salad and partner had the mini mixed grill. Excellent food, tasty, fresh and good portions. Reasonable prices and brilliant service.

4 of us had a meal yesterday, 2x carveries, meat was very good, the meal was let down by the roast potatoes. 1x mini mix grill, the chicken had no taste & 1x buttermilk chicken burger, was good.

We have the carvery after taking the grand daughter to the wacky warehouse....great kiddies entertainment and great food

Enjoyed a very nice carvery with plenty of meat served by a friendly carver and plenty of nice fresh vegetables on offer. Service at the bar was also friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Food was decent (breakfast). Service was great and relaxed atmosphere. Have not tried the carvery yet.

Will not be coming back, after a long wait the steak wasn’t done properly, half was rare and half was well done, I didn’t ask for either. Chicken was dry. Someone on my table had mess in the bottom of their glass. The ladies at the bar were rude and didn’t have good customer service at all, too busy chatting to their colleagues and when I did get served they had no manners at all. I had to wait ages to be served even though I was the only one at the bar.

Went yesterday lunchtime. Pub was packed good job we reserved a table. Can't fault food, except carrots were undercooked. The vegetarian option was cheese and onion pie. This was massive. Don't know if cheese used was vegetarian as most hard cheese uses rennet to set it. Staff friendly. Will go again

Eaten here before and had a great reputation but on last visit on a Saturday the carvery was very poor and service sliw, barstaff talking to friends

Went here with my son for a carvery and I must say it was very flavoursome and I enjoyed it,the food was plentiful for the price.I couldn't eat all mine so I asked for a container to take it home and nothing was to much trouble for the staff.So if you want a nice carvery please do pop down and see them.

Quiet business meeting, Xmas parties have started, friendly helpful staff. Busy but room for more. Today the tree is lit and looking good, snow in car park, not many spaces, careful parking needed.

The carvery has loads of vegetables, and is good value - especially on week days! Friendly staff and a good atmosphere.

Always have an excellent weekday carvery here. First visit for a Sunday one. Service excellent. Carvery meats excellent. Choice of vegetables excellent. However some of the vegetables, particularly the broccoli, were not hot which was disappointing.

Midweek carvery - a good carvery plenty of choice, but spoilt by using frozen roast potatoes (I haven’t been for a meal for many years where they used frozen roast or veg) they were anaemic looking, some were hard, some were black, just uneatable really. But then if nobody complains then they will continue to serve up cheap alternatives.

Will be visiting this Saturday along with a coachful from Rotherham. When our team plays i the Birmingham area we always head to the Broadway. We are always made welcome by Management and staff. As always we will enjoy not only our food and drink but the service which is great

This was our first visit and definitely won't be our last. The staff are so polite and friendly. Food was also very good, despite it being quite busy, it came quickly and was hot and fresh. Also one of the best carveries I've had. Thank you.

Initially quick service when ordering food. Had a number of customers but not enough staff to service in a good amount of time. Same staff dealing with both bars which meant prolonged waits. Food came out in a good amount of time and was enjoyed by all. Used a drink offer but was unable to get the other drink left behind the bar due to waiting for service and transportation waiting/charging.

Met friends for food and drinks. Had carvery which was very nice. Drinks a little bit pricey. But still enjoyed the visit. There weren't many in at this time so didn't have to wait long for service . We all enjoyed the afternoon visit.

Terrible experience. Won't be going back. Went last year and it was really nice. But on this visit, it seems standards have slipped somewhat.

Friday night takeaway, delicious! Crackling was crispy as you like and bubble and squeak always my favourite side.

Good from start to finish excellent customer service! Ordered my carvery and drink on my phone and it came over very shortly after with the ticket! Also the guy at the carvery serving was very bubbly didn’t catch his name but cracking jokes and very friendly made the experience enjoyable! Thanks to the whole team I’ll be back again in the new year. Lovely experience the friends I was with would also agree!

Very good dining experience as always - if friends from out of town are coming, The Broadway is always first choice!

We love it here try and come twice a week then food and service is always A***** it's easy accessible for my father in law who uses a stick we recommend booking as it gets busy Jan is always welcoming my in law has been coming here for years with his wife who sadly isn't with us now they were regular 3 times a week so it holds special memories for him too

Lovely setting quite busy but service was fast and we were shown to our table on arrival as we pre-booked. Plenty of choice on the menus we opted for carvery which was amazing. The food was hot good choice of meats and vegetables and potatoes. Daughter had chocolate fudge cake and loved it. Great customer service xant wait to return.

Very good value, nice quality food, the carvery is lovely, nice fresh vegetables and lovely cuts of meat. Plenty of nice meals available to order too. It's a little bit too bright in there, the only thing I'd change is to dim the lights in the evening for a bit of a warmer atmosphere. Nice work though guys we'll be back.

Wife and her friend went and cannot praise the place enough, a truly excellent all round pub.

Now I like coming to this place the women who work here are more than helpful and do there best to look after you but there's always one and it was the bloke on the carvery who annoyed me this Sunday with the stingy portion of meat I'm sure he tried to cut it as thin and small as possible might aswel be a vegan carvery with the portion of meat he gave me may be he just didn't like the look of me I'm not a greedy person but he annoyed be complete 🛎end hope he ain't on when i go in next time

The food was so good it knocked my socks off. I had the carvery and it was absolutely divine!!! I don't know what's changed but I approve. Great service and friendly atmosphere as always.

Visited a couple of weeks ago for a family meal. Upon arrival we were taken to our table promptly but on approach was what I could only describe as a fist sized lump of mashed carrot sitting on the floor in front of our table which several of us almost stood on throughout. At no point during our visit did any member of staff make any attempt to clean it up, despite being close to a high traffic area, and walking past/around it whenever they approached our table. Food was disappointing unlike previous visits. The sauce for the halloumi fries was served in a single use plastic pot. I ordered the burger and I think I’ve had a better burger from a burger van. There was no flavour whatsoever and the bun was almost solid. The other meals ordered were poor quality in general, except the carvery which looked quite good with ample portions. Overall general consensus of our group is that this pub has gone down hill in recent years.

Found this place a while ago now and this is now our regular. I always have the ultimate mixed grill which is always very nice The steak and gammon barely have any fat and are cooked to perfection everytime. My wife and kids normally have the carvery which again is spot on I tryed some of there roasties and meat tonight and it was perfect. For the price aswell this has become our favorite pub to come to for food. Thank you

Best carvery I've had in a long time

Took.my grandson for a bite to eat. My grandson had Lasagne,and I had Gammon with chips. The lasagna was OK. My gammon was rubbish. The chips were warm, and the gammon seemed it was the end bits.of the carvery gammon, it was also only warm. Not very nice. I did get a refund on my meal, which was sorted very quickly. I assume that the chef was expecting some feed back.

I liked the steak here food was nice

First time here...very welcoming staff and really nice carvery. Lots of veg and all hot. Roast potatoes were a bit wierd...small and crispy but a nice change to normal roasties. All topped off with a really nice thick gravy...lovely. Nice to see that you could get water off a dispenser at the side of the bar!!! Definitely returning.

Was very impressed with their carvery for £7. The beef was amazing. Can't beat the value for money.

We did book but there were ten of us we had plenty of room at the table. With the exception one one of the children had the carvery on a Saturday the food was excellent I had a large roast they were very tight on the meat I got the same as someone in our party who had a standard roast saying that though and all the vegetables were well presented and nicely cooked carrots broccoli parsnips sprouts mash a nd roast potatoes. The bar was fine too. We stayed a little longer as the children wanted to go in the wacky warehouse for a while which kept them amused. Over all we gad a great experience lived the food and will go back again which in its self shows that I would recommend this venue. There was only one down side the decor was a little tired but please I do once again recommend the food

As usual, delicious and fresh food, prompt service. Clean and tidy.

Attended on a Saturday for my father in law's birthday party. Very nervous going up for food on my own and when I got to the carvery the lady serving was rude to me. No "hello" or nice greeting. Basically a "what do you want?" barked at me with my plate shoved towards me after putting the meat on. Completely lost my appetite and felt like bursting into tears right there. The food tasted nice but I was completely put off by her service. Afterwards the only reason I've given a 3 star is the bar staff. Went up to get my kids and myself a drink each. The lady offered glasses and ice for us all, to which I replied I wouldn't be able to carry it all. She kindly fetched me a tray and helped me balance them so I wouldn't drop them. Also my partner lost his phone and the staff were handed it and kept it safe.

Don't want to listen to football on the TV while having my meal,looking around the room, neither did a lot of other people Their was a party of people celebrating a birthday and they had to put up with the football. They didn't watch the TV either they were talking . It is a nice place and good staff and food, but the TV spoiled my time there.
