This pub breaks the law. They have been told by the council to keep noise to a minimum and to keep the doors and windows shut for the local residents. They play their music until over 3 am ! We live down the road so quite far away but we can hear their music every weekend when they blast all their speakers with bass and dj equipment with every single window and door open. We can even feel their bass. They don’t have any respect or a care in the world. This is not the first time they have been told off by the council. Any many other residents who live close and elsewhere also complain about their atrocious behaviour.

I recently visiting the brickhouse for the first time in order to watch the boxing event Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk. I was charged £5 to enter the pub which although I was surprised about considering it is a pub located in Slough (a subjectively bad area!), l accepted due to the magnitude of the event I was about to watch- the first heavyweight unification boxing event of the last 25 years. I enjoyed a few relatively cheap pints of Peroni before the Fury-Usyk fight started, however as soon as the fight started it cut out due to an apparent dodgy firestick being used (rather than the pub buying the official Sky Sports PPV), and it was unavailable to watch for the next 5 rounds, much to the anger and dismay of other customers (most of whom were there solely for the boxing). I luckily managed to find an illegal stream to watch the event on my phone, as did a few others with a crowd of 5/6 people watching over each of our shoulders. Personally I find this deeply unacceptable that we would be asked to pay £5 to enter a Slough pub with the intention of watching the boxing, yet the TVs did not show it until the fifth round. However, once the stream started to work again I had a pleasant experience and there was a good atmosphere within the pub. Once the event finished, I went to the bartender to ask for my £5 entry back considering the first 5 rounds of the boxing (the only reason I came here in the first place!) were not shown due to a dodgy firestick. He directed me towards the security manager, who was extremely unhelpful and rude, and refused to refund me the £5 I paid to get in. However fortunately a female manager came over and she was much more understanding- although initially she was hesitant to grant my refund for the missed boxing, she listened to my argument and eventually spoke with the manager who eventually agreed to grant me the £5 refund. However this manager (apparently the most senior person in the pub at the time) had previously deliberately walked straight past me l as I attempted to get some form of compensation for the disruption to the boxing which I was looking forward to watching. Based on my experiences with the female manager who was understanding and very good at customer service, I would return to this pub for live sports again (as long as they sort out their streaming services and don’t rely on illegal firesticks!). Furthermore the bartender I spoke to also provided good customer service and was friendly, however the head of security and the general manager were lacking in basic customer service skills and I would suggest they take advice from the senior female manager that assisted me. This is not a bad pub; it is let down by some of its staff.

There was a really good rock band playing the other night, halfway through the Music, the pub pulled the plug out! Even though people were enjoying themselves. what a dreadful way to treat people.

This venue short-changes their bands despite agreeing fees in advance. Bad form from a venue to claim a poor bar-take and punish the band.

Visited at quiet mid week lunchtime. Large modern pub with airy seating. Covered ventilated area that seemed popular with smokers. I don't smoke myself butimagine they usually get pushed out back...but effort had been made here to have a nicely decorated semi outdoor area for smokers. Clean. Wetherspoons type clientele. Nice menu range and reasonable prices, but was very disappointed to pay for a delicious sounding Bresaola beef flatbread and be served....a cold wrap on a tiny side plate. Stone baked pizzas on menu so expected the flatbread to be...well...an actual flatbread! Couldn't be bothered to complain. Social distancing measures were very good.Young girl serving was polite, but customers seemed annoyed that manager/supervisor was paying more attention to restocking the optics than serving waiting customers. It was pretty quiet so they could have seen to the optics later. Would like to have given a higher score, as actually quite modern and very clean for the type of pub it is...but the management and food (mis)description can't push me more than a two.

Terrible food - not well cooked. Plates and cutlery very dirty... had at least 10 plates removed - dirty with left overs from earlier. Glasses dirty as well. Ice machine didn't work ... milk came out... maybe later it'll be fine. With respect for your heath.. reconsider eating here.

This place can be quite inconsistent—no two pizzas are ever the same! While some visits are great, others can be disappointing. It's a bit of a gamble each time. I might just stay away from now
