Food was really nice , plenty of choice , hot and cold drinks our waiter who took the order was called Allison she was really helpful will be calling again soon

Come here regularly for breakfast on Thursdays. Always very nice. Darren the chef always presents the food well. Alison always has a warm welcome and is very helpful. Great value for money. All you can eat for just over £10.

Bring my daughter here for breakfast every week because the food is great. What makes it though is the service from Alison and Jess. Always smiling and able to have a laugh. Extremely high standards of service and that’s why we come back time after time. Thank you!

Came here for Sunday dinner. The food was really good and well priced, our waitress Alison was really helpful and was able to have a laugh with us.

Had a buffet breakfast, was very busy so had to queue for things like tea and coffee, the coffeewasnt very hot at all. . Toaster was very, very slow. I had to get this before food arrived, so if you wanted it with your food, it was cold by the time you got your breakfast. Bread and crumpets were going hard and dried out. Little muffins were nice and fresh. They ran out of spoons, so I had to ask for them they weren't on the tables with your knife and fork. The breakfast looked nice when it arrived, but it wasn't very warm, I had half grilled tomato, it wasn't grilled at all, was still raw, the baked beans were luke warm, scrambled egg was over cooked. They didn't have poached eggs like it said on the menu. Sausages weren't very nice they were the cheaper ones so nit much flavour. Only had 2 kinds of yoghurts strawberry and vanilla there was 6 of each out so didn't last 2 minutes. Overall It was poor it said buffet, you had to order what you wanted so couldn't serve your self, you could ask for more if you wanted it, but you couldn't choose your own except for cold buffet items cereal etc. The staff were nice but not enough for the amount of visitors I don't think I will be going again.

Had lovely breakfast This morning.

Terrible service waited at the bar to be served. There was a young lad behind the bar texting on his phone ignoring us. Another young lad came and served us straight away. The pub was absolutely freezing. The food was cold. The young lad who served our food was unhelpful. Very disappointing 😞 😕

We have breakfast here regular. It’s good value for money. A lovely cooked breakfast, a good continental section and also good coffee. What stands out the most for this place is the fantastic staff. They are always so welcoming, attentive and nothing is ever too much trouble.

The waiters did a very good service job . Food was nicely cooked and timely served. The overall experience was excellent. I would recommend this place with the premier inn. Many Thanks.

I booked a table for 8 for the 9.30am slot for the 5th Jan 2025 to celebrate my son’s birthday, all our party arrived to find the restraunt closed. We eat there regular

Xmas 24. Disgraceful. How do I complain and ask for a refund. It was a teatime sitting so the four if us were ravenous, we ate what we could.

Christmas dinner wasn't good at all. The food was poor quality. The service was great considering that they had to serve such tripe. No recommendation from me.

Second time eating here. Last night Caitlin went out of her way to help and this evening Becka has been wonderful despite the restaurant being very busy.

First time visit The Brecks today . We managed to get a table even tho we didn’t book . The service was excellent we had Lucy H looking after us and she was fabulous. Very attentive and on the ball with everything. She was really friendly and was always smiling . The food was delicious, we both had steak which was cooked just the way we wanted it . It was very clean and nicely decorated too . We will definitely be returning soon . Thank you 😊

The menu offers unlimited breakfast, but the process could be more engaging. While your initial order is taken, there’s no mention that you can request more food – you have to ask for it, as the staff doesn’t actively offer refills. A simple check-in with customers could greatly enhance the experience. The food was decent overall, though the mushrooms and tomato could have been served warmer. Additionally, the toaster is quite slow and likely needs replacing to improve efficiency.

I arrived and immediately was astonished. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. They had a wide variety of foods. No complaints 😄😁😆🤩☺️😋✌️👧👩👩‍🦰👩‍🦳👸🍉

August 2024 Really friendly service Good value with coupon Steak was average Food was bland. The service was friendly but go order wrong and most people had finished their order by the time my food came. In fair I did get offered a free beer.

Went beefeater Friday night all ready for the beefeater experience and happy vibe. But as soon as walk through the door the house keeping was disgraceful as empty glasses and sticky tables and even graffiti aswell in black crayon on table. Plus a funny smell in the air. Definitely not coming back. Because I ve barred myself. 🤢🤢🤢🤢

Was a little disappointed with the 🏜 for the price. I had similar pudding elsewhere for the same price but it three times the size.

Have been here a few times but tonight the food wasn't great. I asked for medium steak, it was well done more like boot leather. The onion rings were solid, the bread bun for the burger was hard. I could see the food cooking and it was like the chef was cooking 1 thing at a time, so food was left standing longer than it should. Carrots on the kids meal still had skins on. Shame as first bad meal I've had here!

Only meat was good nothing on side few chips, fish and chips was one of worst one, cooked in very dirty oil understanding from smell and colour of fish, we had some calamari was very bad we send it back can't eat any, very unhealthy, if you thinking to go only eat something grilled, don't eat anything fried.

We were sat at a table and I asked to be moved which wasn't a problem, our waiter David was very polite. I had the Sunday roast with beef and I had cauliflower cheese as an extra all was enjoyed everything cooked to perfection fresh veg homemade yorkshire pudding, roasties and honey glazed parsnip no complaints. Partner had ribs and chicken combo which he enjoyed. Will definitely visit again.

You need to stop sticking everyone in one corner when the restaurant is nearly empty and you need to stop microwaving your apple pie.It was just a sloppy mess

Best place for a decent priced well spread breakfast! Staff are lovely and friendly and always about to help with anything! It's priced great for adults but bonus kids get to eat free too!

Had a 10oz ribeye and it was simply amazing, melt in your mouth. Sides of mac and cheese, egg and peppercorn sauce. Nice relaxing atmosphere I highly recommend !!!

Yet another great lunch. The butternut squash lasagne is really tasty. It's the best place around for a delicious lunch at a great price. Our server Alison was so attentive and made sure we had an enjoyable time.

Food was delivered hot and fresh, 10 meals were delivered In a timely manner meaning we all got to eat at the same. The staff were all friendly and attentive, great over all service. Cheers to the team

The restaurant has seen better times, it looks tired and dated with poor lighting. The food is rather expensive for the standard and portions served. The salad dish for 14 pounds was rather poor, a small bowl of soggy leaves with a quorn filet thrown on top was disgusting ,It’s so easy to make a salad healthy and look good

Love going here for breakfast with the kids or friends. The vegetarian hot breakfast is delicious!

Portion sizes are terrible , got a meal that had all three steaks on £25 pounds , the steak wasn't cooked how I'd asked and just tasted burnt , another disappointing visit

Last orders seem to be being called earlier, often before 10pm. We were asked to vacate our table, where our group of 11 had just eaten, at 9:45pm,so that they could set up for breakfast. Couldn't get another drink as last orders had already been called. Their licence is for late, so don't know why they are always so keen on closing early when paying customers are present. Bar staff are friendly, though.

Really poor quality food. Poor slow service. The state of the building is very poor. Bad plasterwork and decoration. Roof/ceiling leaking in the upper dining area, but still people are being seated in the area which is a health and safety issue. Upholstery of fixed seating and chairs heavily damaged and carpets in poor state or repairs. Toilet condition is appalling. Over all a really bad review. This place has gone down massively in the 5+ years we have gone to this project!!

Had a really pleasant evening here, last week, food was good, as usual, served by Jess, who was really warm and friendly. Arwen was working on the bar, and was very welcoming and very efficient, with a warm smile. Highly recommended, and would have left 10 stars given the opportunity.

Hardly anyone in. Was cold. Food way too expensive and defo not worth the money. Asked for steak without mushroom but they still put mushroom on. Would never go again. Loads of things on menu not available .

Called in while on a weekend break, the food was excellent, although I consider £16:49 for a burger slightly expensive.
