The Bohemian in Wolverhampton

My friends and I went at 12pm on the 3rd January to find it closed!!! This was very upsetting as there aren’t many places open this late in Wolverhampton. The website said they are open we checked Friday opening times,

The cocktail's are brilliant. The organisation of staff not so good. Said the karaoke speaker was broken. But wouldn't kick the previous customer's out the room even if we was supposed to be in there. The previous people said they was playing on it to get free drinks. Load's of free shots. But we did get compensated so not so bad. Drinks are strong though,

Bottomless Brunch, but there's only 1 round of food brought out..? Food is nice however, but the definition of brunch is 'a late morning meal eaten instead of breakfast' so how's it bottomless Brunch? What happened to the bottomless part..

It’s a shame, I would love to give more stars, but trying to get a hold of anybody is very difficult. Very awful service, and to make any amendments if give you a number that doesn’t work.. if you need to make any amendments you’re better off cancelling and rebooking…. However once you’re inside the service is great and the staff are wonderful..

Have frequented The Bohemian plenty of times over the last six-seven years, usually before Wolves home matches. Unfortunately, the place is not what it once was. The bar used to be inviting and catered for anyone and everyone who wanted to enjoy a drink and socialise. The beers used to taste great and were a good value. However, over the past couple of years there has been a rapid decline. The venue seems to only want 'youngsters' who are buying cocktails at an inflated price. Numerous times there has been problems with the draught beer (either not serving it or tasting extremely off) and there is constantly music blaring at excessively loud volume - even at midday on a Saturday afternoon!? This then makes it extremely difficult to have a conversation with others. It is a shame as me and friends used to love coming to Bohemian for beers and a chat, but we avoid the place now.

Did a bottomless brunch yesterday and have to say it was the best bottomless I have ever done! The value for money was unbelievable, none of the cocktails were watered down, after nearly every round of music you were given a shot and there were so many to pick from! The pizza and dough balls were lovely and the amount of food you get it brilliant, we actually took some home! We will definitely be returning with a bigger group, I’ve done lots of bottomless brunches and we all agreed, none are as good as Bohemians!

Attended the Sunday Karaoke Bottomless Brunch, it was such a relaxed and fun atmosphere, the cocktails were amazing and not watered down like you find at most bottomless brunches, shots were being given out from the main menu free of charge for the duration of the bottomless, it lasted from 2-5 all included in the price, the food was also bottomless and very tasty, they even provided us with a box to take the leftovers home! Best bottomless I have ever been to! Will 100% be returning!

Had nat as a server and for the 8 of us she did an amazing job, didn't leave to long a gap between drinks and kept the vibe going. For a birthday brunch date it was a great afternoon out with great service, music and drinks.

Me and my friend came here 23rd February for late night brunch which on the flyer we booked stated live entertainment r&b and old skool music, when asking one of your colleagues about this and showing him the flyer he said he had no idea and we never have live music until 10pm so we are really disappointed as we were really looking forward to this! Instead we were the only ones in the bar eating and drinking so the atmosphere wasn't what we were expecting at all for paying £20 each also... we did mention this to the manager who told us to message Instagram or Facebook for this to be dealt with by the area manager as nothing she could of done and I had no reply.. wouldn't recommend tbh

Had a brilliant night for my daughters Hen doo in here last night. Danny and laura i think her name was, hosted an excellent master class for us. They did well to put up with 11 tipsy ladies. Great venue and thank you for everything Danny.

Bottomless brunch is a must. Every cocktail was made perfectly. Food was delicious too! Monica and lee were fab and really friendly. Would highly recommend.

Went for a bottomless brunch. We had an hour and a half and only had 4 cocktails during that time, waiting upwards of 25 minutes for one drink. I understand we were a group of 6 but we barely even had enough to cover the cost of the brunch. Not a great experience especially when we finished each drink within minutes of them arriving. They don't do bottomless brunch but, go to bunk instead for quick cocktails. (Ask for the bar boys)

Decent place with friendly staff. Went for a couple before a gig and they had a decent selection of beers. Had some dead uncomfortable seating by the windows but we only sat there as other tables were taken.

We are so disappointed. Spent £18 on karaoke booth. When we arrived, the previous customers were still in there. We waited patiently after informing staff. After 20 minutes my friend suggested we deserved free drinks whilst we waited. At this point, staff acted on getting the previous party moved out. As our time started (a timer countdown on the computer screen), I checked to ensure the next group would be made aware so we could still have the hour I'd paid for. I was assured this would happen. This did not. The way we were spoken to, sworn at, and threatened by the next group was appalling. We spoke to management, who said they'd be in touch with us for compensation the following day. They have now had a week, but no such communication has occurred. Our night was ruined. Staff simply did not do their job. We were very lucky not to have been assaulted by these revolting women who were threatening us as we tried to get our belongings together. I await your response, as you promised a week ago.

Went for a bottomless brunch, amazing service on drinks and food! Constantly asking if we needed drinks, even on a busy day with the wolves match being on! Thank you to the bar staff, Lauren and Lee for the service!

Really nice place and great atmosphere but could really do with improvements. Floors are sticky. Food was brought to us one bit at a time, no napkins utensils or condiments. Wasn't cooked all that well and a bit cold. Still a nice place and I'd recommend it. Love the balls on the ceiling!

Great night before a show at the grand , great service from Edd , great guy very plesent and helpful

5 of us came here. The food was ok as was the atmosphere. The floors and tables were so sticky and the service was really poor. We were clearing our own table as no staff would. The starters were quite tasty. We ended up in Bunk across the road which was great. Won't be returning here.

Go here for open mic nights. Really good crowd and atmosphere as a result.

Good music and friendly staff. One of the better bars in Wolverhampton. Drinks are a little more expensive here but it's a great place. Definitely visit again.

Went to enter the club on 23rd December early hours, I was completely refused service, the bouncer said it was because I looked young, I’m 21 years of age and also had legal ID which he would not even think about looking at! I had read off any information he would have needed to believe my age but still was refused entry and was spoken to in not a very polite way! Me and a friend were completely sober so having to much drink was out of the question! I am not happy with this as I was of age and willing to use the club as I have had a been here over a handful of times before but won’t be returning due to the disrespect i had received early hours this morning!

It was very quiet and cold when we visited so hadn't long opened and was week night. Drinks were reasonable priced and plenty of choice but could imagine it gets busy at weekends.

So this is live … great champagne, chilled and not old, however the girl at the bar sat in a stool blue hair (Halloween) needs to be removed :… no engagement, rude, vile, arrogant, privileged …. I could go on… lad at the bar and the beautiful black girl … amazing …. Thanks …. Short stay but very nice …. Repeat … get rid of the other gurl ….

Friends hen do, booked Tiki bar. Lovely pizza, onion rings, mozzarella dippers and fries. Just a confusion over numbers but staff sorted it well. Unlimited cocktails for 1.5 hours. Cocktails were great. Staff worked really hard. Wide choice of shots served quickly. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Thank you guys

Just went there on a friday night and got served by this lad Joe made us all feel so welcome and kept giving us three drinks at a time so very well worth the money and even the food was beautiful❤️💪

Wow! Just wow. What an amazing place! Clean, well priced, great food, great selection of drinks, fabulous customer service, and banging music! What more could you want? Brilliant night was had by all- will definitely be returning!

Wish I had checked the reviews before coming here. The cleanliness is appalling, sticky floors and unhygienic toilets. Plenty of inexperienced "managers". Asked to speak with the alcohol license holder who "wasn't on the premises". Unprofessional, the place needs shutting down immediately. I don't go out very often but other places visited that night were not at the state this place was.

One of the best bars in Wolverhampton! I had my birthday party here and it was epic! We always do the themed brunches too, they are unreal and the staff encourage and enhance such a vibey experience. Definitely one to give a try!

100% RECOMMEND been here many times for their bottomless brunches and can hands down say it is definitely the best in value for money the drinks and food don’t stop and the entertainment is always on point the food is fantastic and the staff are always welcoming and friendly.

I came here as part of a hen doo and all of us had the most amazing time. The staff where attentive and we even got to have a go on the pole! Food was top notch and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking to experience a great night out.

I absolutely love coming here! Wonderful place; friendly and happy bar where all are welcome. Great drinks and the staff will alter and change things to your own taste and even remember your order for the next round! The food was lovely and we felt really secluded for our party upstairs. Music is always vibing and the DJ’s are happy to play requests. Karaoke booths is absolute bonus!!! Deffo give it a go!

FAVOURITE PLACE IN TOWN! I Have been to the bohemian numerous times and consider myself a regular. The music is great, they have a wide variety of cocktails and the service is friendly. Highly recommend! Particularly their themed brunches, can’t wait for the Disney one on Sunday :)

I have video footage of the calm interaction between us and the "manager". In the footage he is asked "Are you saying that food was prepared for us and we refused it?" and his answer is very clearly "NO" . I don't believe in sharing footage of people publicly over the Internet but I'm more than happy to forward this footage to the owner so he can see why it is important to not respond before you have fully listened to both parties version of events and seen the proof. After viewing it I will await your apology and hope you will be correcting your ridiculous response that was full of lies.

Owner wasn't even there yet thinks he can comment about what happened. Accused of being "abusive" yet security were having a laugh and joke with us. Seems a little strange that they would keep allowing abusive women back inside the venue. Voices were raised inside as we couldn't hear anything over the music, which was why we had to keep going outside to talk (which we did calmly!) then back inside to wait for no resolution and the next lot of lies. If your management are intimidated by a complaint then it definitely proves our point that they are incompetent. The only person who seemed to be doing anything in that place was Joe.

Visited Saturday after the wolves game. Overpriced rubbish, floor was filthy and tacky my shoes were continually sticking to the floor. Staff got my order wrong on multiple occasions

Visited over the weekend, the disabled toilets were the most disgusting thing I have ever seen and this was at 5pm! Terrible "management" very empty bar, would not visit again

Management full of lies, and the response from the owner is laughable. Non of the food we ordered arrived, we were told we couldn't have any food. Some boneless dry wings we didn't order arrived and were added to our tab which we had to wait over an hour for the CCTV to be checked and get them removed. Disgusting dirty bar, disgusting dirty staff attitude. I'd we were being so abusive then in sure security would have removed us otherwise what are you paying them for exactly? 9 bottles of water were put on the tab, who even orders 9 bottles of water?! Cocktails on that table that didn't arrive, once again proved by CCTV. Refusal to give us details of the personal license holder, refusal to let us speak to the owner and refus of a refund. Fully ruined the night and refuse to accept any responsibility

Service, management, the floors and the toilet were all disgusting. Bunch of liars and thieves. Even the owner, who wasn't there, is trying to lie when we have video footage of the night. Absolutely disgusting treatment. Food that was never ordered and drinks that were never recieved were added to tab. Refused refund which I'm guessing must have been because the empty dirty bar is struggling and needs every penny it can get. Good music though and shout out to Joe who was one of the few people actually doing their job

Awful place, incompetent management. Good music but that doesn't make up for them stealing customers money, lying and adding imaginary drinks to the tab (proved by CCTV) and refusing to resolve the situation. Ruined the hen party, would definitely not reccomend

Awful night, charged for drinks that didn’t arrive, charged for food that didn’t arrive. When asked for a refund we never received it and was left over 3 hours with no resolution. Avoid at all costs

Tried calling them twice to speak to a manager regarding my sister having her phone, bank card and ID stolen! No one bothered to call me back. One bartender rude to my sister as she was trying to find her items and upset! Avoid

I attended recently with my friend for Bottomless Brunch and it was amazing. Our waiter was Callum who provided us with non stop drinks, nothing was too much. We decided whilst there to book the Karaoke Booth which was so much fun. Friendly staff, good food, lovely drinks, will definitely be going back. Thanks for a lovely afternoon 😊

A slow start to our Brunch, however the staff were amazing and turned it around for us. Joe was fantastic as always and the new lad Liam worked really hard to make sure we had a good birthday brunch. Deffo going back.

We went to boho tonight for the first time and wow it was appalling. The woman at the front who u pay entry was very rude and looked like she simply couldn’t be bothered. The bouncer didn’t even search people which i feel is very important due to all the stabbing incidents that has happened. The staff was all very rude except for the poor lad on the bar felt so sorry for him he genuinely looked like he hated his job. The women’s toilet were disgusting. No toilet roll, waste all on the floor, the stench of urine made me sick to my stomach. The crowd/people in there wasn’t very nice, didn't feel safe at all, the music was outdated. In all my years of clubbing experience this place is definitely the worst!! And i have been out in manchester/london/walsall/birmingham. Would not recommend boho

Trying to get in on Friday 7 April. And got told no due to us apparently trying to get in all night. And we have never been there at all. The door men was very disrespectful to wards me and my friends while we was trying to celebrate one of our group birthday

Came here at about 6pm on a Wednesday evening for something to eat and drink. Although it was a matchday, it seemed quiet inside; a few empty tables, no queue at the bar. First off, our table was also sticky when we sat down. We ordered two pizzas, a portion of chips and two drinks. The food took over 50 minutes to arrive, with one pizza coming about 5 minutes before the other, and the chips never came. The pizzas did taste quite nice, hence the extra star, but the wait was just ridiculous. In the end we had to get a refund for the chips as we needed to leave to get to the match. No apology from the staff, I appreciate it’s not the bartender’s fault but an apology on behalf would’ve been nice. Definitely won't be hurrying to go back if at all.

Went to Bohemian today for a few drinks before moving on. Today we stayed longer than we expected because of the legend that is (pink hair) Joe. Incredible mixologist. Stayed at the bar the whole time and Joe made us laugh and really brought the vibe and of course the cocktails were amazing! Kudos Joe.

Went late afternoon so not to busy, service was bang on, ordered pizza and fries and they were great, had a desert cocktail out of this world,highly recommend this eatery, food and service first class, will definitely be going again.

Started off on a little bit of a slow but a nice lad called Harry helped out and even extended our stay for 20 more minutes for the start. Would highly recommend nice atmosphere and music, plus the cocktails are amazing.

Best cocktails in Wolverhampton

Ordered 2 amaretto sours but with vodka instead of Amaretto. My favourite drink...and have now introduced my girlfriend to these and she concurs. Kudos to Joe, an excellent mixologist!

Arrived at 8pm after booking a table for 8pm. Spent some time (maybe 15 mins?) looking at the menu after being seated and went up to free bar to order. We were told that kitchen had closed at 8 even though on the website it said till 9 which was really annoying. Bearing in mind it was a birthday meal and when this was booked there was no warning or notice of this on the website apart from the banner saying ‘closes kitchen at 9pm’. Really bad customer service and the server didn’t explain this at the bar either. Probably won’t go again after this :/

Had my 50th birthday party at this venue.. Danny and his team were very helpful throughout the process putting up with me and my demands.. they even provide in house DJs and food/drinks packages Whatever required was done within reason.. had a blast of a night.. thanks again..

Just been for a bottomless brunch here, loads of food for just two people, took a lot home! Lol. Upgraded to any cocktail off the menu, well worth the money! And Sasha was very friendly and helpful and kept the cocktails flowing!! Thank you! Definitely recommend!
