Visited here on Saturday, walked in with a friend to meet to others in here baring in mind it was only 4pm never been to rhyl before but walking in to bod it was like a nightclub class act on getting everyone involved, cheap drinks too! All in all superb night thank you all! Would a million percent return...

Amazing pub who offers all variety shows

I visited this establishment for the first time. I had my service dog with me, marked up with a service bandana. I was angrily accosted by a male member of staff shouting at me. “ No dogs allowed” explained it was my service dog and he continued to challenge me. I explained that I do not need to show my card, my disability is my business and no to be broadcast in front of the entire pub. Embarrassing!!!!!!! Then as I was leaving, did not want to stay in such an establishment with staff like that, and I was again accosted by an elderly lady, who I assume was the seaside pub landlady. She did not introduce herself, and again had the same derogatory attitude as the male member of staff. Asking in front of everyone to prove my disability and show my card. I asked her if she was aware of the law regarding service dogs, she did not answer To be fair the entertainment was good, it attracted me in, as a local I make have frequented this establishment during the out of season period. However not now!! And I will spread the word of my experience. I would like to know the head office’s comments - or the breweries take on this. This is the first establishment that I’ve been asked to rule my disability. THE LAW: Assistance dogs are not required to have ID cards or be certified or registered. Because of this, you should never ask to see an ID card or proof the dog is an assistance dog. Assistance dogs can be trained by anyone including the dog’s owner.

Great pub with great atmosphere great prices on drinks

This is our local. The landlady puts. A great variety of acts on. It's nearly always busy. On Wednesdays it's rammed for bingo .definitely the place to go to .whilst on holiday here or if you live here.the prices of drinks are very reasonable too.

My daughter and I went to the Bodfor yesterday 27th July tea time. We haven't been for 2 years cos we sold our caravan. It was great to go back. So friendly A fab singer Sam was on She was brilliant. Great atmosphere. Drinks are reasonable and the staff work so hard and are very helpful. Going back this afternoon for Northern Soul!!

Come here as often as we can, to see our friend perform. Staff are friendly, and it's a good atmosphere.

The Bod is the Bod. Great atmosphere here and the Bingo is ace. They have some great acts that play here every week. My only complaint is that there are more horse racing channels on in here than pretty much every bookies in North Wales.... You may want a pint, but you will feel like you are drinking it in the biggest bookmakers on the west coast .

Think they’ve forgot what country they’re in. England flags all over the place saying “it’s coming home” – home to where? Have some self respect.

Good experience apart from one staff member in foyer area was a bit pushy about going upstairs and keep coming to my partners need with no request to. If it wasn't for the children I probably would have said something as he was creeping her out but the rest spot on ty and c you again😊

Great pub for young and old in the afternoons as the have entertainment on . At night there is a disco on until late . Reasonable bar prices and fast service at the bar .

Rave music ,rubbish needs more 80s 90s

We visited during their Oktoberfest event and was surprised by how over the top they were! An Oompah band and loads of decorations, even the staff were dressed up. Service was a little slow but this was due to the volume of customers, they had plenty on the bar but it took about 10 minutes to get a drink. This was an event day though. Normally I’m told it’s a lot quicker. Drinks were very cheap (coming from Manchester) and there was lots of space including a sheltered, heated area outside.

Fantastic Entertainment, we came to see the Gary Barlow & Robbie Williams tribute which was absolutely fantastic 🤩 great atmosphere, will definitely be back soon 👍

A fantastic atmosphere, the ONLY thing is, the music doesn't need to be so loud. I love my music loud, but not to the extent that the speakers they use distort, the people near the stage must all be hard of hearing, we move to the back of the pub to try and enjoy whatever is on, but then you cannot really see the act.

Didn't eat so can't rate, but the Bodfor was a surprise, not a massive frontage but once inside the place keeps giving, very large inside, beer was great, lovely sun trap beer garden at the rear.

Absolute disgrace of a pub. Would not recommend to anyone. I wouldn’t drink here even if I was desperate. Staff are the WORSE people ever. Speak down to everyone absolute diabolical place. Filthy bar filthy people absolutely filthy staff if I could write no stars I wouldn’t hesitate to do so.

Me n the Mrs come across this place by chance just having a wander it was Friday 23rd and on arrival the staff greeted us we were told that there was a great singer on at 9pm so we ordered a drink grabbed a seat and waited. We are glad we did her name was Janet Myring (I believe) she was absolutely fantastic and a great singer. We will certainly be back next year.

Went for the pride event great venue it was packed out great staff cheap bar plenty of choice only down side was the toilets were terrible needed cleaning but possibly due to the amount of people

Started going back out into Rhyl again, come Friday/Saturday nights this is the best place by far, great atmosphere no trouble how it should be

It's cheap & relatively nice. I did go in the afternoon, though. It does seem buzzing at night when I pass, so it is certainly a place to visit.

Loud and lively with a decent pint

We went here yesterday (sat 12th Nov) we were quite sceptical as we'd been told it was an "interesting"pub to visit. We were there just before 12(midday) as we wanted to watch the football and were told about all the screens 😀 We got chatting to two really great guys clearly setting up for some sort of entertainment later that evening, one overwhelmed at my daughters love of football and the ability to go to the bar 😜 the other equally amused at his dislike of football and his love of music. These guys told us of a charity evening that was on later in the day,. We returned to the bar later to see these guys Were the entertainment 😍 TIMELESS they were fabulous, great singers and entertainers. We even got a wave when we entered a packed bar 😍 The beer is super cheap. Great atmosphere, great music. What more can you ask for 😍 P.s. to the guy with the smashed in toe (I think he's the manager) What a trouper 😜 Definitely worth a visit if you're in Rhyl 😜 Thanks for making us feel so welcome 😘

Absolutely loved the Bodfor. Went on a hen night with my girls the staff where amazing, the atmosphere was laid back, brillant beer garden, fabulous entertainment. 100% amazing night.

I had a really great experience in the bodfor last night, because I'm disabled & need crutches to get about, the staff & some of the customers went above & beyond last night, everyone I met were extremely polite & helpful the bar staff even brought my drink to my table, I wish to give a big thank you to everyone at the bodfor & you will see me again when I come to see my oldest friend shaggers.

Went down t' fookin pub on thursdee night with the blokes, we beat our missus' we did fookin right ad' em back of ead' Went down this proper fookin place 10/10 i'd say, staff were women but not my type ya get me so i ordered me self a pack a stella as shown by me mate in the pictures, ad' right proper, brew loved it all
