I attended my friends wake on Wednesday last week in Brightlingsea. We went up to get some buffer food and it was honestly amazing. The homemade quiche and pizza swirls were delicious. And the chocolate brownie cake was to die for 🙈. It was delivered in portable serving cases and laid out beautifully! Easily the best buffet I’ve ever had. If you need a buffet for any occasion these are the best xx

Lana our waitress was amazing. Excellent service and food was very good. Excellent value for money. Lovely family, country pub vib. Would visit more if there was a small children’s play area or something to accommodate children in the garden area.

Was cold in the restaurant as the heating wasn't on. Menu was pretty basic and things you could easily make at home. The plates weren't heated, mening the food cooled down a lot once served. Garlic bread had barely any garlic butter and was so hard it was like a giant crouton. Food was slow to come out. The cokes tasted strange and were half flat. Wouldn't recommend it, I would rather go to a whetherspoons as its cheaper, more menu choice and better quality.
