Beer fetival --BEWARE -- 6 pints at £22 --great but its not --read the small print -- you have an option re your glass and as in most beer fests u rent your glass against breakage & get a refund -- WRONG -- u pay £3 for the glass -- no refund so your £22 is in fact £25. Staff totally unnapologetic on this -- a simple rip off & leaves a nasty taste to completely spoil the experience . Been going in the pub since the girls took it on and enjoyed many good beers but with the rip off think that was my last visit -- very very bad profiteering . Think I may not be alone in being disgusted about this tactic

Excellent ales and brilliant pub grub. The pies were amazing. This is not healthy but just good tasty food done very well. The pastry was short, the pie was a proper pie with crust top and bottom, the meat and potato filling well seasoned, moist and plentiful. Served with mushy peas, chips and oodles of tasty gravy. Absolutely fab. Thank-you

Doing the Four Counties Ring and had this down as a must visit pub and was not disappointed. Very friendly, good selection of beers. Only sorry we couldn't stay for quiz night.

Visited this pub with my friend a few weeks ago on a Saturday. Lovely atmosphere, proper old pub. Had a great pizza and spotted the flyer for Pie and Pint Wednesdays. Vowed to come back, and we did. And thoroughly enjoyed it. Their pies are fantastic! The whole meal was and for under a tenner too. Can't wait to spend an evening (or two) in the beer garden come summer.

We were staying on a boat and the Blue Belle was recommended to us. It’s a very short stroll from the canal and being a Tuesday it was quiz night. Whilst it’s not something we normally partake in, we thought why not. After ordering 2 pints of proper beer and some pizzas we were loving life. This really is a proper local pub but not one to make you feel uncomfortable or unwanted. The pizza was delicious and a great price and the pub itself was clean and welcoming. Thanks to everyone at the blue belle and if you’re passing I’d really recommend this place for a nice pint in a great environment.

Who needs Chinatown when this dim sum is on my doorstep? Best restaurant in Stoke, fact!

We are very impressed with the Sunday dinners here! The meat portion was generous - I had a bit of everything - beef, chicken and gammon. All of it was tender and lean. The Yorkie pud and roasties tasted homemade and were great. The mash was nice and the other veg were nicely cooked (not turned to mush) and plentiful. We paid £2 extra for cauliflower cheese to share and that was good too. Everything was perfect, except the peas needed to be cooked with a bit more salt, but that's a very minor fault. Also must mention the gravy which tasted superb. My partner who is vegetarian had the nut roast and enjoyed her meal, but didn't have room for it all. We will be back for more Sunday dinners here as it is one of the best meals we have had recently in the whole of Stoke and reasonably priced too! You literally get a whole plateful of food to eat as portions of meat and veg are generous! Big eaters will love it! The service is also good and the wait for food only around 15 to 20 minutes for us. The pub restaurant was busy with diners when we were there, particularly so after we finished our lunch around 2.30pm. I would strongly recommend the food here and would also suggest booking in busy periods
